@SS123456 Oooh that sounds horrendous ☹️ I think I feel worse because I had Ella on my own all day yesterday so doing all the care was quite difficult when I was so sore! Hopefully will improve over the weekend before DH goes back to work on Monday 😩

@MrsB2019x I really hope so 🤞🏻. Do you have any other family around that can help?

I had an infection after my section and it was so painful so you have my full sympathy @MrsB2019x hope the antibiotics are helping now.

How are you doing @SS123456 ? Can't believe you're due!

@whambam89 how did the appointment go?

@kirinm the appointment went ok, they did an internal scan said my lining looked good etc, could tell I'd just recently ovulated and they took my bloods to check my AMH levels, OH has to take a sample in on Friday then we have another appointment in a couple of weeks to discuss results / next steps. 10 dpo today I think so AF will probably be appearing soon, can start trying again from next month so will hopefully have a plan in place soon.

How are you? Is DD on the mend now? X

I think I’m finally learning how to be a mummy! I’m not crying everyday, though we are currently in leap 4 😳 not a fan.

She was 14 weeks old on Monday which is crazy!

Thank you both @kirinm @whambam89, had to go back to the doctors for different antibiotics as they weren’t working so hoping these new ones will kick in soon.

The appt sounds promising @whambam89, glad they are finally taking care of you

Ella is 2 weeks old already and weighing 9lbs13 now 🐷 DH has gone back to work now so doing all the sole care has been quite hard with the infection to contend with but she’s great. Even if she has decided sleeping at night is for the weak 🙄

@MrsB2019x 2 weeks! That's crazy, have you got much support whilst hubby is at work? Hoping you're feeling ok soon and you manage to get some rest 🥰

@whambam89 Yeah my mum has come round a couple of days while I’ve needed to go back and forth to the doctors. She has offered to do our housework for us bless her but I felt I couldn’t accept because it’s an hour on a bus for her to get to us (it’s a 15/20 min car journey so not that far, our buses are just shit 😂)

I had baby girl yesterday, a day early, at 12.38pm and got home at 10pm last night 😁❤️. She weighed 7lb 2oz and is called Jessie. I had mild contractions all night on and off from 10.30pm Tuesday night and by yesterday morning they started getting stronger very quickly around 9am and when we got to the hospital at 10.30am I was fully dilated 😱. I had her in the birthing pool with gas and air. She came out with her hand up by her face so that caused a slight tear but it didn't need stitches thankfully

@MrsB2019x bless her! I feel you on the bus front, we live in a small town and the public transport is appalling 🤦🏻‍♀️ the housework can wait, just focus on getting better and your beautiful baby girl!

@whambam89 fantastic news that you're finally being seen and some progress is being made. In the nicest possible way, I hope they are able to find something to help treat (I hope you take that in the way I mean it)!

@MrsB2019x it is hard going on your own. I remember when my DP went back to work and I was still struggling to walk. I think my infection happened because I was too quick to start taking the pram out. We live on a hill and I didn't realise how much you use your abdominal muscles to push a pram so I think I was over exerting myself. Take it easy (hahahahah I know that isn't really possible with a baby).

@SS123456 congratulations! I love the name Jessie and she is beautiful

@Sansa87 I can't remember the leaps but the first few months are so hard with or without leaps.

All okay here. Ovulating at the moment / imminently here I think. We are still trying but spoke last night and both agreed that the chances of it happening don't look very positive so trying to just be appreciative of what we do have.

We have a few friends who have now had their second and they all seem to have found it much harder. Our DD was hard work on her own and we had no support so slightly worried what two without support would be like!

I often think of Claire too. I hope she’s okay.

Many more than 4. Most left though for obvious reasons.

@kirinm yes I know what you mean, I'm hoping they find something too! Hoping it's not my AMH levels because that's not something that can really be rectified but if it is just my progesterone then that would be an easy fix 🤞

@kirinm I think you’re right, it’s a difficult balance because you’re told to rest but also told to stay active so it’s hard to know how much to do?! I’m itching to go out though, we’ve been out with the pram twice but I won’t be able to do it on my own. Our front door doesn’t open fully because of a meter cupboard on the wall so we have to carry it out folded and put it together outside 🙄

@whambam89 Yeah the housework is definitely waiting, it is a struggle looking at it all though haha. I’m dying to be able to do washing again! (As amazing as DH has been doing it, you have your own way of doing things y’know? 😂)

@MrsB2019x I deep cleaned the bathroom for the first time since the c section last night. I had too many friends who put their recovery back by going to soon. Oh was able to hold the fort and keep it in a decent condition until I felt 100%

I probably felt okay the last month, but it’s been too hot to do it 😂

@MrsB2019x oh definitely, I moan when my OH doesn't help out and moan when he does because he hasn't done it "right" 🙈

@Sansa87 Yeah my DH has been brilliant at the housework but I don’t want to bug him to do it in the evenings now as he hasn’t seen Ella all day and doesn’t get home til gone 6:00 ☹️

Thanks ladies! 😊. It's been a bit of a hard few days so far as I'm struggling with breastfeeding. I've been put on antibiotics today as I have mastitis in both breasts and the midwife thinks Jessie could have a posterior tongue tie. I have booked an appointment with a tongue tie specialist to take a look on Thursday so hopefully they can help 🤞🏻

I’m still stuck in leap 4. It was a year ago Saturday that we got our first proper bfp. I can’t believe it. I had to take a photo of Frankie with the original test and hope no one thought it was an announcement

@Sansa87 That has absolutely flown! She’s adorable 🥰

@MrsB2019x she did have a tongue tie in the end so she had it snipped. Thankfully she was fine and barely cried at all. She has been latching much better since and feeding for longer so hopefully things will be much better now. I no longer have page 3 boobs thank god! 🙈
