@SS123456 That’s good news! Glad the feeding is going well. My boobs go a bit page 3 if I can’t pump for ages, drives my husband nuts 🤣

kirinm · 06/09/2021 12:56

Hope you're all doing okay. My DD was 3 last week and it has been a really emotional time. I think its because there is no baby left in her really, she seems so grown up now.

I am 11dpo and have all my usual AF symptoms BUT my body has thrown me a curveball as I have sore boobs. I haven't had sore boobs in the TWW since before I had my daughter. Obviously it is giving me a little bit of hope but at the same time, I surely wouldn't have my exact same AF symptoms as well. So tempted to get a test so I can stop with all the stupid overthinking.

@whambam89 how are you doing? Are you able to try this month?

whambam89 · 06/09/2021 13:14

@kirinm I think you should definitely test! Everything crossed for you.

We can try this month, I'm currently CD 11, been ovulating around CD17 so FW will start soon x

MrsB2019x · 06/09/2021 15:01

@kirinm Belated happy birthday to your DD 🎉 I’m in the ‘go test!’ camp as well but I totally understand why you might be hesitant. Do you have any in the house or would you need to go out and get one?

kirinm · 06/09/2021 15:09

@MrsB2019x no I haven't got any tests in the house. I haven't used ovulation tests or pregnancy tests for quite a while now. I'm 99% sure AF will turn up in a few days and maybe sore boobs are just a new symptom.

I've got to pop to the mini supermarket on my way to pick up DD from nursery so I might buy one. They've got those annoying alarm things on though so I have to go to the cashier and get them taken off.

Rotagilla · 06/09/2021 21:21

Hello ladies,

How are you all?
Have been off social media to help reduce anxiety and googling things 🙄

So so lovely to see your baby announcements and pictures! ❤️

I have 7 weeks left today... xx

MrsB2019x · 07/09/2021 03:52

@kirinm Did you pick one up? How long is your LP usually?

@Rotagilla Nice to hear from you! Hope you are doing well ☺️

SS123456 · 07/09/2021 04:13

All my fingers are crossed for you @kirinm ! Do let us know if you test 🤞🏻

@Rotagilla so glad you are doing ok 😁

I did get one. Just a cheapy from Sainsbury's. I'll do it later. I don't think I am pregnant but I'd like to stop thinking about it if im not.

Im 12dpo today and i have. 14 day LP so not due AF for a couple of days yet.

kirinm · 07/09/2021 09:17

A very very clear negative.

Looks like sore boobs are a new sign of AF!

MrsB2019x · 07/09/2021 09:57

@kirinm I’m sorry 😔💐

kirinm · 07/09/2021 10:46

@MrsB2019x thanks. I didn't really think I was but it's still disappointing 🙄. At least I know of another 'symptom' I can ignore.

SS123456 · 08/09/2021 05:19

@kirinm so sorry 😔

Sorry girls I've been a bit AWOL and just realised I'd never checked to see @kirinm update.. sorry it wasn't a bfp for you :(

We've got our telephone appt with the clinic next Tuesday morning to discuss blood results etc so hopefully there'll be a plan of action then. 6dpo on this cycle and have been using pregnenalone cream since ovulation to see if it helps to extend my LP.

Hope all the babies (and mummies!) are doing well xx

Sansa87 · 20/09/2021 11:17

4 month sleep regression here 😩

Oooh fingers crossed you won't need a plan of action!

@Sansa87 4 month regression is brutal. Ours lasted months (but my DD was a very very bad sleeper). Crumpets seemed to help.

kirinm · 28/09/2021 08:51

Good luck with your appointment today @whambam89

whambam89 · 28/09/2021 09:08

Thanks @kirinm hope you're ok!
AF arrived 9dpo this month so definitely need something doing 😴

kirinm · 28/09/2021 09:42

@whambam89

Sorry to hear that. Really keeping my fingers crossed that the clinic can do something to help you.

I'm fine. I think I'm 7dpo or thereabouts but not feeling anything that I don't always feel.

MrsB2019x · 28/09/2021 14:51

Good luck today @whambam89 Flowers

whambam89 · 28/09/2021 14:57

Thanks girls, it was a bit of a waste of time. Egg quality and sperm both fine, doesn't think low progesterone is a problem so won't do anything re that but going to book me in for a dye scan to check my tubes aren't blocked / damaged. Feeling pretty deflated because I know that the low progesterone can cause problems and a luteal phase of 9/10 days makes it harder to get pregnant too

SS123456 · 29/09/2021 06:00

I'm sorry to hear that @whambam89 . I had my progesterone pessaries prescribed privately. Could that be an option for you too?

OP posts:
whambam89 · 29/09/2021 06:59

@SS123456 where did you get them prescribed from if you don't mind me asking? Happy to pay for them I just don't know how to go about it!

How are you doing? 😘

SS123456 · 29/09/2021 10:12

@whambam89 it was through a private fertility clinic. We had booked to have some private tests done on us both with them and then found out I was pregnant. When I called to let them know they suggested a small aspirin dose and progesterone pessaries which I drove over and picked up the same day

I'm ok thanks but shattered! I only took 5 days off of work so it's hardwork juggling everything and working on so little sleep. Jessie won't lay on her back or sleep anywhere apart from on us at all 😴

OP posts:
whambam89 · 29/09/2021 10:17

@SS123456 you're super woman! Don't know how you manage with a newborn and working.

I think they'd be ok to prescribe it if I got pregnant but won't prescribe it to help me get pregnant. They're the only fertility clinic around here and are both private and NHS but I might have to look further afield to see if other clinics have different opinions x
