Long time no speak ladies! Lovely to see all your babies, they are thriving and so beautiful! 😍

@Sansa87 Frankie looks so grown up 🥺 clever girlie!

Congratulations @krj260888 she is beautiful!

@SS123456 Jessie’s legs are just so squishable! Gorgeous girl.

@whambam89 You must be getting close to the third trimester now? 😧

Ella is coming up to 8 months and trying so hard to crawl! We both had covid last week which was super shitty but we are both on the mend now. Loving this age so much, she is such a character 🥰

Oh my goodness look at all the squishy babies! They're all beautiful 😍

@MrsB2019x I'll be 27 weeks on Thursday! Feel like it's really dragging 🙈

Hope neither of you were too poorly with covid! I had it for the 2nd time during pregnancy last week as well 🤦🏻‍♀️

I’ve managed to avoid covid so far. I have no idea how but touch wood it carries on. I’m back to work in just over a month which I’m super anxious and upset about so really don’t want to spend half of it isolating

Report
whambam89 · 29/03/2022 09:19

@Sansa87 you've done well to avoid it!

Are you going back to work full time? X

Report
Sansa87 · 29/03/2022 09:27

@whambam89 no, I’m doing 32 hours a week instead of 42 managed to drop a Monday so will only work tues/weds/thurs and then 5 hours on a Sunday.

I still haven’t really left Frankie, so it’s making me quite nervous.

We have had our first crawling over the last day though.

@Sansa87 Oh wow, has it been 2 years already!? I can't believe our babes are almost 1! I'm not looking forward to going back to work either, but I think it'll be okay. Assuming your childcare is all sorted? My mum is taking him but she's only managed 6 hours so far. I'm going to Glastonbury though so she's in training haha.

@SS123456 Those thighs of hers! She's sooo scrummy. How are you getting on?

@MrsB2019x Ahhh, Ella is too cute! Love her little smile. Glad you're feeling better, somehow we've avoided COVID so far.

@whambam89 I can't believe you've had it twice during pregnancy, argh! :( I bet the third trimester will fly by - how exciting. I'm really broody but so unfit... I think we'll be waiting a long time before trying for #2 but the thought of being pregnant is delicious!

Hello ladies!

Was just thinking about this thread and all of you!
Thought I'd pop back on and see how you all are?
Lovely to see your babies!

I had my baby in October and he's now a chunky 6 month old....his name is Rocco!

Our beautiful rainbow baby 🌈

Congrats @Rotagilla hes beautiful 🥺🥺🥺

Frankie is going to be one in 12 days. I started work again this week which has been really hard emotionally, & physically. I miss her so much and didn’t feel ready to go back, but she has so much fun at nursery and her nanny’s. Thankfully I’ve dropped down to 31 hours from 42 so at least I get more time with her.

how is everyone doing?

Congratulations @Rotagilla he is absolutely beautiful!

@Sansa87 Wow Frankie is suddenly looking so grown up 🥺 Sorry to hear you’re struggling with going back to work. I’m going back on Tuesday and absolutely dreading it 💔 a Mum at nursery today assured me that as the weeks go on, it does get easier. Finding it hard to believe that atm though!

@whambam89 How are you doing? Hope you’re not too uncomfortable!

Ella will be 9 months old on Monday, still not crawling but getting very close! She had her first nursery settling in session for 2 hours today and I sobbed all the way home 😩😂 she did okay, got a bit upset after I left but managed to sleep for a bit and do some messy play. Pretty sure she will cope better than I will!

@Rotagilla congratulations, baby Rocco is so cute! ❤️

@Sansa87 I can't believe Frankie is turning 1, that time has just flown by! Hopefully work will get a bit easier as time goes on for you 🤞🏻

@MrsB2019x ah look at Ella! We have that babygrow too! 😊. I hope that you are ok when you go back to work!

We are doing well on this side. Jessie is a chunk now! She jumped from around the 50th percentile at 6 month to the 75th at 8 months 🙈. She is crawling now and can stand holding onto things so I think the dreaded walking is just around the corner. We live in a 4 floor town house so I am starting the mammoth task of putting baby gates in at the moment!
I was back at work from 5 days after having her so I don't have the adjustment to go through on that side but she will be starting part-time nursery around Aug/Sep time when my partners 12 month shared parental leave ends which I have mixed feelings about. I am sure she will love it but you just always feel guilty as a parent don't you!

@Rotagilla Oh sooo lovely to hear from you!! Gosh, Rocco is an absolute cutie (& great name choice - this is on our list of boys names 😉). ❤️

@Sansa87 Frankie is getting more beautiful by the day! Sorry to hear you've been struggling with work, I'm sure that's perfectly natural. I start work in 2 weeks so I bet I'll feel the same!

@MrsB2019x Good luck for Tuesday! I bet Ella will love it and it'll be great for her development. She's so sweet and has such a beautiful smile! I definitely think this separation lark is much harder on us than the babes haha.

@SS123456 Oh Jessie 😍Why are chunky babies so darn cute!? We also shot up in percentiles as time went on haha. Although I think walking has resulted in weight loss. SOB. I do not envy you with all those stairs hahaha. Walking up and down never ends! Even with it shut he just stands on the step, shakes it and shouts until we give in. Oh wow - you are such a superhero working so soon! I'm assuming you were working from home? Gosh, the parenting guilt never ends does it!

Report
SS123456 · 06/05/2022 06:33

@LeopardLover the guilt really doesn't ever end, I still have it now with my 10 year old DS! I'm self employed as an accountant so didn't have much choice about work but I work completely from home so thankfully haven't missed out on too much with Jessie 😊

@Rotagilla congratulations! Love his name too, we're really struggling with boys names 🙈

@Sansa87 Frankie is looking so grown up! Being back at work will get easier and is definitely worse for you than it is for her 🥰

@MrsB2019x I can't believe Ella is 9 months already! I'm not too bad, I've got SPD so not very comfortable and it's a lot more exhausting with a 4 year old to look after but I can't complain. Hopefully only 8 weeks to go 🤞 good luck for Tuesday!

@SS123456 Jessie is gorgeous too, they're all getting so big!
