Well that was an ovulation tea party to remember! 💃🏼🥑🍍🥗🌮

Thanks for turning up you lovely lot and so Welcome back on board the bus where our route now takes us through the POAS early corner of shame to the “I’m gonna wait until AF is late this time” and then stopping at the fertility clinic to drop off a bunch of giggling girls going to get their foof felt up by a load of nurses and hopefully get impregnated by them! 🤞🏻

This bus is the one where TTC happens in many different forms, shagging conventionally, unconventionally, with the help of scientific intervention, IUI/ICSI/Clomid/IVF & even just watching from the top of the bus 👀. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been trying for days, weeks, months or like some of us we’ve been around each other for so long we can’t bear to leave, nothing is TMI and there’s never a silly question...

Hell we KNOW TTC is tough, lots of us have had heart ache & are chasing 🌈so we are there for each other, as well as trying to have laughs along the way 🥰☺️

Oh and we like an embarrassing story to get your ticket for entry please!

We call them buns too @Minster2012, they look yummy. I made coffee cake yesterday. I like baking but only do it for a crowd otherwise I eat most of it.

@bez91, I feel your pain on the dh not initiating it front. So frustrating. I've just given up at this stage coz it was getting me down so much. Might explain why we dtd so little this month!

I'm starting to think I need to turn off my rhr. I think I may have ovulated later so it's going up now only to come back down in a few days. I have to start the injections for iui on cd1 so think that's why I'm watching it so much now...That's my excuse anyway!

@Crazydoglady123 also wondering how they lost them, but that’s still a great number. Fingers crossed for a fab fertilisation rate too.

Yay @Crazydoglady123, 12 sounds good to me! Just need to keep fingers crossed for a good one! Does it feel weird that somewhere in a lab your future baby could be starting its little journey?! So amazing! Would be great if they took a little time lapse of the cells dividing! Hope you are recovering well!

Yes @MartyMcShy TURN OFF THE HR MONITOR. They always seem to stress people out and it won’t change anything you just might know an outcome a day or two sooner but maybe not as RHR seems a bit hit and miss to me. So all the stress for no payback.

@paintfairy like I said on the other thread - shit about the BFN but it increases your chances for next time as the success rates increase a lot with each consecutive iui!

@paintfairy ha ha dropped them on the floor! Sometimes follicles don't have viable eggs in, that's what I was told, you definitely don't always get the exact number of eggs as follicles growing so 12 is so good @Crazydoglady123, my egg collections were under local anaesthetic and I talked A LOAD of crap apparently, I hope you are fully resting @Crazydoglady123

I'm not waiting for any results, just twiddling my thumbs now until the next fertile week (AF is due tomorrow) and my next fertility appointment isn't until the 17th of June I think.

OH has started planning our summer holiday - he seems to think it's best we assume we can't go abroad so he wants us to hire a campervan and do (parts of) the NC500!

@MartyMcShy @bez91 I read the Q&A on here with a fertility dr and his view of unexplained secondary infertility was that the couple probably had the same issue first time but got lucky. Not sure how I feel about that!
