Well that was an ovulation tea party to remember! 💃🏼🥑🍍🥗🌮

Thanks for turning up you lovely lot and so Welcome back on board the bus where our route now takes us through the POAS early corner of shame to the “I’m gonna wait until AF is late this time” and then stopping at the fertility clinic to drop off a bunch of giggling girls going to get their foof felt up by a load of nurses and hopefully get impregnated by them! 🤞🏻

This bus is the one where TTC happens in many different forms, shagging conventionally, unconventionally, with the help of scientific intervention, IUI/ICSI/Clomid/IVF & even just watching from the top of the bus 👀. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been trying for days, weeks, months or like some of us we’ve been around each other for so long we can’t bear to leave, nothing is TMI and there’s never a silly question...

Hell we KNOW TTC is tough, lots of us have had heart ache & are chasing 🌈so we are there for each other, as well as trying to have laughs along the way 🥰☺️

@paintfairy im pretty sure we decided RHR means nothing, @Kirky658 thought she was having palpitations 🤣😂and I thought she was basically dead her heart rate is so slow 🤣you def aren't out you are chilled???

@Minster2012 oddly today has been my busiest day and I've barely sat down. I've spent 3.5 hours driving, I've been walking, and other than brief stops i didn't sit down until after 7pm! 🤣 So who knows. 🤷‍♀️ I was just thinking @Kirky658 has a really low rhr though and wondering how can that be right. 🤣

@minster2012 @paintfairy I'm basically comatose 24/7 🤣 when I told the midwife she was genuinely concerned as she'd never seen one that low! I don't think my watch is that accurate tbh.

I actually switched off the heart rate tracking on my Fitbit the minute I got the BFP 😅 could not handle the stress of looking at it. All I know is mines was robotic and sat at 68 from ovulation all the way to BFP (so 12 days of 68 bpm). It's saved me so much extra stress not having it there to glance at.

Argh @paintfairy but you haven't been bitten by a horse, all still pretty chilled stuff, driving, walking just going about your day! You said before you might test tomorrow are you going to? @Kirky658 Is weird 🤣lovely but basically a running zombie I think 🤔

@Crazydoglady123 MASSIVE good luck for your "operation" tomorrow, we'll call it the egg collection for ease! Let's hope you've good lots of fab quality eggies in there ready to go & you feel ok...is DH doing his bit too?!

@Minster2012 in the week I'm really lazy. 🤣 So technically less to base it on today really. 🤪 I literally am dreading testing. I feel like I want to put it off. But I should check really. If I remember (I sometimes get up early and wee!) then I'll do an IC. If bfn I'll recheck Wednesday, so I can stop the progesterone.
@Kirky658 it definitely doesn't sound accurate? But then I do wonder how good any are? We have a blood pressure monitor which does current heart rate. My mum also has a gadget that goes on your finger to measure it. If I do that- it never matches what my fitbit is saying my current heart rate is? But then it still might provide a consistent (albeit inaccurate) pattern? 🤣

RHR 🤔 I half believe it half don't, for one of my pregnancies it correlated perfectly with BFP etc etc but the other nothing like 🤷‍♀️

Happy bank holiday for those who have one! 3 day AF and she’s gone, no meaty-ness - thoroughly disappointed 2/10. Usually they last 5 days. I’m more annoyed I bought new period pants for the occasion. DH huffing and puffing because the thermometer is back out 🙄

Sorry for the non meaty period @bez91 do you think that you didn’t ovulate this month?

My temp this morning was not as high as my super spike but still higher than all my other readings which I think is ok if it was a fallback and continues to rise/stay high but will see if I can get another few days without driving DH insane!

It's been a hectic weekend here with sorting everything, but I have been trying to keep up.

Here's a story for you girls, my tortoise loves snuggling in amongst soft clothes etc, so I had the sheets by the washing machine ready to put in after I'd run a bath. I sorted everything and then chucked them in. Half an hour later dh came running upstairs saying "WHERE'S DOUG?" So we spent ages looking for him and we were convinced I'd accidentally chucked him in the washing machine with the sheets. Panicked and hysterical I ran around the house and eventually dh found him in the bathroom under a cabinet. I completely broke down, I mean full on snot sobbing whilst clutching the poor tort who was looking up at me like "what's going on?" 😂 not ideal!

@Minster2012 Wednesday will be 2 weeks after insemination/ovulation. I'm 12dpo today so surely an IC should pick it up?

Anyway- IC BFN and I'm spotting this morning so I didn't expect it to say anything else! Didn't spot on the trial progesterone so I'm annoyed i am now! I've also still got crappy stomach ache (assume digestive) which is really pissing me off now.

@Minster2012 I've got to have 2 more before being eligible for ivf. Whether it happens each month hinges on them. If they can fit me in then I can do it again this cycle. Whether my body can take more drugs is another matter! 😫 I'll recheck Wednesday but clearly it's hardly looking promising. 🤣
