Thanks for turning up you lovely lot and so Welcome back on board the bus where our route now takes us through the POAS early corner of shame to the “I’m gonna wait until AF is late this time” and then stopping at the fertility clinic to drop off a bunch of giggling girls going to get their foof felt up by a load of nurses and hopefully get impregnated by them! 🤞🏻

This bus is the one where TTC happens in many different forms, shagging conventionally, unconventionally, with the help of scientific intervention, IUI/ICSI/Clomid/IVF & even just watching from the top of the bus 👀. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been trying for days, weeks, months or like some of us we’ve been around each other for so long we can’t bear to leave, nothing is TMI and there’s never a silly question...

Hell we KNOW TTC is tough, lots of us have had heart ache & are chasing 🌈so we are there for each other, as well as trying to have laughs along the way 🥰☺️

@Minster2012 fantastic 😅 that's a bit weird of them though blatantly driving by! The "matriarch" of our village used to own our house and since we've ripped it to pieces and made it our own no end of folk walk down our cul-de-sac for a blatant nose it really irritates me 🙈

@Dollybird89 how many squats a day is the challenge? 😊 I'm up for it... My cousin is going the SANDS charity one which is 2000 in May I think, I was trying to work out if it's the same one.

@bez91 DH's parents live 100 miles away so luckily we rarely see them. It's his dad who's the pain though!!! He's ex raf so it's usually his way or no way, drives me mental x

@Kirky658 @bez91 @paintfairy my parents generally forget it a grown up, and generally forget DH exists (we've been together 15 years so no flash in the pan!) and also like to do everything their way. Tbf it's got better now they've decided not to stay with us when they're in the uk!

I've decided that I am going to spend time reading up on and visuality what it might be like to have an only child - I think I need to learn to be happy with my lot and then if we can TTC no 2 it'll be a bonus (I'm completely not there at the moment!)

@larrythelizard its funny isn't it. Mine completely bend over backwards to help us. But his- utterly useless. And don't even get me started on the wedding. 🤣 I nearly cancelled the whole thing.

@bez91 technically I'm not meant to test until Wednesday. To be sure there is no chance of the trigger being still there. I only checked the once but if it wasn't on the IC before, then it shouldn't be next time (same brand of tests anyhow). So part of me wondered if to try Monday (bank hol and no work to think about, although I wfh tbh) but I dunno if it'll ruin the bank holiday? I'm also not sure i even want to know the answer. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Not sure i dare nap, as I'll not sleep tonight!
@Minster2012 I don't think crazy people would put me off buying a house. Most people are crazy. Just in a different way. Should have started washing to them out of the window. 😆

Thank you everyone, my cb digital came and it BFP. I also had a big morning sickness in the car park of shopping centre today so I believe.

Now to panic that our house is going up for sale as soon as we get our roof repairs done and we’ll hopefully have move a couple weeks before my due date all going well.

Has anyone ever heard of a fallback rise in bbt? After my huge jump my bbt went down on 2dpo 😭 I was so fed up that I haven’t tracked following that but I am getting the usual progesterone signs in force, bloating, giant chin spot and sore boobs. I know it’s not how it’s supposed to work but might try and get a bbt tomorrow however on the other hand there isn’t really anything I can do about it so tempted to just leave it! Argh! I think temping might not be for me!

Sorry been absent, in hospital atm after being told by EPU to go to a&e following bleeding and stabbing pains & feeling horrendous yesterday. Was admitted to see the doctor and I saw the doctor at 2.30am who had a good old poke around my cervix & said there wasn't much blood & he couldn't see any reason for it, that I need to wait until after 9am this morning for a scan. I forgot to ask about my hcg in the bloods as I'd been woken so will try find out that this morning 🤞🏻as well as wait for scan. The stabbing pains subsided to only when I move & just got bad cramping now & bit of blood 😬

@Haiyaa the issue is i don't want to know at all. 🤣 And I did think the temp looked wrong. If you haven't slept properly, been awake a bit first, drinking, different length of sleep etc it can all affect it. It looked too extreme a change. You have to regularly do it because then you start to see a pattern and its then easier to identify if one looks funny and unlikely to be correct. Its practice! Plus if the ones before and after it are not the same, then it also indicates it was a one off. It can be stressful though.
@Minster2012 well that doesn't sound good?! I hope everything is OK! Fingers crossed for you. Random bleeding does happen so try not to worry yet xxx

Metformin dose increase hit me hard yesterday. Spent hours on the couch with a basin on standby but was fine by the night time.

@Somatronic do you have the modified release tablets? If not they can be a lot easier on the stomach.

@Minster2012 after what the lady I knew went through similar at 7 weeks and baby and everything was fine, it was just her body telling her to slow down! Sooo I have everything crossed yours is the same and you need to stop being Wonder Woman doing so much and take it easy 😘

@Haiyaa I've read about them! I will be getting my new prescription later so I'll mention it to the pharmacist maybe.

@Somatronic the GP will need to change it on your prescription in order for your pharmacist to dispense it. It’s what we generally recommend for patients struggling with those sorts of side effects and 9/10 it usually works. Good luck!

Sorry to just jump on but @somatronic I was going to suggest the same as @haiyaa about the modified release metformin. It's gentler on the digestive system & i agree that our patients report is definitely settles for the majority. Have a chat with the GP 👍🏻
