Well that was an ovulation tea party to remember! 💃🏼🥑🍍🥗🌮

Thanks for turning up you lovely lot and so Welcome back on board the bus where our route now takes us through the POAS early corner of shame to the “I’m gonna wait until AF is late this time” and then stopping at the fertility clinic to drop off a bunch of giggling girls going to get their foof felt up by a load of nurses and hopefully get impregnated by them! 🤞🏻

This bus is the one where TTC happens in many different forms, shagging conventionally, unconventionally, with the help of scientific intervention, IUI/ICSI/Clomid/IVF & even just watching from the top of the bus 👀. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been trying for days, weeks, months or like some of us we’ve been around each other for so long we can’t bear to leave, nothing is TMI and there’s never a silly question...

Hell we KNOW TTC is tough, lots of us have had heart ache & are chasing 🌈so we are there for each other, as well as trying to have laughs along the way 🥰☺️

Sending you love @Minster2012. @Haiyaa I have also had low temperatures after ovulation, I've read a lot about it and it does suggest that I haven't ovulated or low progesterone, or both. What are your cycles normally like? Or is this your first cycle temping?

@pennysays this is my first cycle but I haven’t been very diligent. I did have a spike and the dip happened on what would be considered 2dpo which I’ve read can happen even when you do ovulate and temps should then go back up again but I haven’t checked. I’m not sure whether to bother as I do seem to be getting other progesterone based symptoms which is all the bbt is picking up anyway. Cycles usually regular 29-31 days but this is first cycle after mc (so not had a period yet) and peak was around a week after I would usually expect it but I’m not overly worried as that is quite normal. Have you asked your GP for some 21 day bloods?

@paintfairy I hadn’t done anything unusual before my spike, slept well and apart from the socks which I wear most days but not the couple of days before the spike. No alcohol etc. But my technique probably isn’t that great, as the bloody beeping thermometer stresses me out! Would be better if it just had a flashing light or something. If anyone knows of one like that let me know!

Has anyone tried those patches for temp?

@Haiyaa the fancier femometer ones upload the temps automagically to the app with Bluetooth and you can turn off the sound on the thermometer so that could be an option? Fallback rises are common but it's a shame you didn't carry on temping to confirm ovulation.

Thank you ladies, scan showed a sac but nothing else, consistent with 4/5 weeks pregnant not 6, waiting to go back onto ward & talk to doctor but I guess another scan in however many days to see if it's changed. It's very similar to last years MMC but hcg IS better than then 🤞🏻

@Minster2012 so in a nutshell, we don’t know that anything is wrong, feet up and dh needs to step up until next scan, when is it?

@minster2012 the girls are right. You need to slow down and look after yourself. Your hcg is good and it seems that you're earlier than you thought so hopefully a repeat scan will confirm that.... When do they ant to rescan you? I assume in a week?? X

@Franklydear @lucyrp don't know when or even if I have another scan yet, was told maybe by the scanner & it's the doctors that decide, waiting to go back up to ward now then I guess wait for doctor

@Minster2012 try not to think too much on the scan, they are notoriously unreliable so early and often cause more worry than they help. High HCG is a good sign, will they check it again in a couple of days?

@Juno231 I know I should have continued but I didn’t know about the fallback thing so basically had a paddy! I think I am just too eager after the mc.

We have drama, ds has been downloading some 18 games on his iPad and click but didn’t watch some inappropriate videos, currently going through his history and his in a tearful pile on the sofa, we haven’t issue any punishment yet, but you would think we just beat him

a week between scans as standard I think. Now sit down and chill the f*ck out 😊

So seen the doctor and she said I have a blood clot next to the sac which likely caused the bleed & means higher risk of miscarriage, another scan in 10 days now & gotta take it easy, no sex until the clot gone (Friday night orgasm MAY have contributed to the bleeding perhaps!) and that would hopefully be by 20week scan 😳😬I rather like sex and orgasms and DH does too! Oh well we can't have it all I will protect the baby and wish away 10 days

@Minster2012 ok, that doesn’t sound so bad, so time to take it easy
We haven’t beaten him, we haven’t even ground him, 😂 we have put some parental controls on the iPad, his reactions when he’s in trouble are hilarious, he was saying he’s going to delete YouTube all together and spend the rest of the day in bed, all in terrible tears.... I put a show on the telly, and will go for a walk with his new scooter he doesn’t know about yet...

So some good news @Minster2012, now take it easy! It’s only an orgasm ban for you though 😉 or will DH abstain too out of solidarity 😂 are you still on your heparin?

@Minster2012 just seen ur posts. My sister's wee empty sac with blood clot beside it is currently 7 years old and ruling the roost so try not to worry ❤❤ get those feet up!! Xx

@Minster2012 ok that's good news, on the baby front anyway. Maybe not for orgasms. So is the thinking that the clot will go away by itself hopefully by 20 weeks?

@Catherinettc thank you, and @Sausage1990 says a friend of hers is 14 weeks with a clot & bleeds a fair bit. It can't be easy for us 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️

@bez91 yes the doctor says clits tend to resolve themselves by the 20week scan, nothing else they can do as I'm already on blood thinners, though she didn't say how long I should have those for & I didn't ask, I've got another 15 I think atm so will ask after the next one
