Just checking in!

Sleeeeeepy · 18/04/2021 23:06

Thanks for the new thread!

A question, how long do your periods last? Mine are quite long since MC and overlapping with supposedly fertile time as I've got quite a short cycle. I've realised I don't know what normal is though.... thanks!x

thislittlebird · 18/04/2021 23:26

Thanks for the new thread @M4v3r1ck!

@Marvellouslymadmum check this out. It's in Sussex so I thought I should share with you. I saw this urologist recommended when searching around mumsnet and googled him, we just watched his video.
agoraclinic.co.uk/sperm-sex-sport-and-supplements/

£495 for their enhanced male fertility MOT seems pretty good to me when a hycosy for me would cost £500.

VixFromThe6ix · 19/04/2021 00:01

Hi everyone!!! 👋
Anyone over 35 and trying for baby #1?
Baby dust for everyone ✨

Marvellouslymadmum · 19/04/2021 00:47

@thislittlebird ooh I'll have a look thank you!

@VixFromThe6ix I'm 42 and we both have two teens each but none together so it's no 1 together

VixFromThe6ix · 19/04/2021 00:57

@Marvellouslymadmum aw!! That's so sweet. I am sending you all my positive thoughts. How long have you been ttc??

selina37 · 19/04/2021 07:09

Just checking in 😀

Henslovetoscratch · 19/04/2021 07:26

Hello! Just marking a place. I am 12dpo and usual AF stuff including spotting so think that's me on to the next cycle. Best of luck to everyone!

TTCat39 · 19/04/2021 07:43

Hi @Sleeeeeepy My AF lasts 5 days and has the same pattern to it each time -
Day 1 heavy with quite a lot of cramping, Day 2 heavy, Day 3 lighter, Day 4 nothing! It just stops, temporarily, before reappearing for a light Day 5.

TTCat39 · 19/04/2021 07:43

Hi @VixFromThe6ix I'm 39 and trying for baby #1

KatRee · 19/04/2021 07:59

Thanks @M4v3r1ck !

@VixFromThe6ix -I'm 37 and trying for #1

@Yumcoffee Can't say I thoroughly enjoy the salmon, but I do feel better for it, like I was definitely lacking some nutrients that it has or something. I keep seeing adverts when I'm online for algae-derived omega 3 supplements, but also read somewhere that we absorb animal-derived ones better (never really know whether to trust that kind of info though-suspect there might be someone with an agenda behind it) and the thing with having salmon 2x week is it sorts out 2 really easy, healthy dinners with minimal effort, so I'm less likely to cave in and stick a pizza in the oven on those days!

Loladoodle · 19/04/2021 08:19

@M4v3r1ck thanks for the new thread lovely 👍 in answer to your question (ages ago 😅) yes the diet and weight loss is still going well, almost 1.5 stone off and aiming for another stone now! Feeling good 💪 and happy I’ve stayed focussed on it!

Congrats to the 2 new BFPs 🙏 for a happy, healthy, stress free 9 months ahead for you both (won’t let me tag as not sure if on this new thread yet).

Welcome newbies! And good luck 🤞 I’m on cycle 15 now, age 39! Ttc3 but first with my OH. You will find lots of support and info here from these knowledgeable ladies 🥰

thislittlebird · 19/04/2021 10:07

Hi @VixFromThe6ix! I’m trying for number one too, I’m 37 but about to be 38 Confused (started trying when I was 36).

thislittlebird · 19/04/2021 10:08

Speaking of diet and weight loss...yeah...I’m gonna have to get on that from next week. Weighed myself last night 🙅‍♀️

Katiekattty · 19/04/2021 10:11

Hi everyone, just checking in.

@VixFromThe6ix I’m 37 soon to be 38 trying for #1

thislittlebird · 19/04/2021 11:33

Oh in timing news for my cycle, I’m only on day 9 and some wild EWCM has appeared.

So far this again tallies with the previous time I had acupuncture where I ovulated earlier, but it showed up on cd11 that time, cd9 is very early for me but I shan’t complain.

Noodella18 · 19/04/2021 12:07

@VixFromThe6ix I'm 37 but am fortunate enough to have a daughter who's 2 next month. We were very lucky to conceive 2nd cycle last time and hoping it happens quickly again. What about you? You're 37 and ttc #1 I take it?!

Noodella18 · 19/04/2021 12:10

Ladies, do we think this is positive? I've been stressing that I've killed off my ovulation with vit b complex as I'm on CD 20 now and my LH levels have been higher than normal for 4 days but no surge. I thought it was supposed to be low, low, low, HIGH! Not a gradual increase.

This was just now but the test line is two-tone, left bit is dark and right bit is lighter. What on earth is that supposed to mean?! Stupid femometer opks. Off to get a box of clear blue shortly.

TTCat39 · 19/04/2021 12:45

@thislittlebird I had 5 days of EWCM this month, which is a bit longer than usual. Also thought it strange when it started early for me, but continued all the way to my smiley OPK.

Misty84 · 19/04/2021 12:54

Hi @VixFromThe6ix, I’m soon to be 37, trying for baby Number 1, on Cycle 21.
Preparing to attempt the IVF route now.

@Loladoodle That’s amazing weight loss! Well done!👏🏻 You must feel so much better!

@Sleeeeeepy I have a heavy Day1, and a bit of cramping, then medium day 2, then very light day 3 and 4. Maybe a bit of spotting on day 5. I don’t know if that’s too short, it’s definitely got shorter in the last year or so 😕
