@got2be yeah I know the feeling! Ah I see, I need to read up on it more. Only read the odd thing on it a few months back. Now that we're doing ivf, think I'll leave it until after if unsuccessful. Omega 3 is defo a good supplement to take! I used to take the zita west ones.

got2be · 06/05/2021 22:14

@notyetamumbuttrying fingers crossed ivf is a success x
I’m taking seven seas but if I don’t have success I’m thinking to change all to zita west ones.

notyetamumbuttrying · 06/05/2021 22:17

@got2be aw thank you 😊
I've heard good things about the seven seas ones so best of luck 🤞🏾

Marvellouslymadmum · 06/05/2021 22:21

@notyetamumbuttrying I just googled pelvic exam 😳🤦🏼‍♀️ definitely testing in the morning!!

notyetamumbuttrying · 06/05/2021 22:24

@Marvellouslymadmum haha good good! Best of luck 🤞🏾 they're fine btw, just a tad awks but isn't all of this palaver! 🤪

ElsieG3m · 06/05/2021 22:28

@thislittlebird I'm so sad reading your messages and that it's come to you needing to go privately. Unfortunately, wonderful as the health system is, it does not always get it right and half the battle is finding the right person to help. In 2017, I was laughed out of two A&E departments with 'stress reaction and migraine' after having a life changing stroke. The critical window when my brain damage could have been minimised was missed and the baby I was told would be fine was lost. I went to doctor after doctor until eventually I found one that did the right tests to find out what had happened. Point is, sometimes you know when something isn't right and you need to find the right person to restore your faith in the medical profession and to help you. I can really recommend Raj Rai at st Mary's and Pat O'Brien at UCLH (&harley st). Pat is the kindest soul and will bend over backwards to help his patients - NHS or not. I saw him privately and he then refused to keep taking my money and saw me in the NHS. Hoping you find the right person soon but don't give up - you will get there in the end with the right support xx

Misty84 · 06/05/2021 22:31

@ElsieG3m I’m so sorry to read about what happened to you xx

ElsieG3m · 06/05/2021 22:31

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 oh me too but don't worry at all - I completely understood 😊 xx

ElsieG3m · 06/05/2021 22:37

@Misty84 thank you. I have a lot to be grateful for as I got my little girl in 2019 and she's the best thing in the world. Xx

Marvellouslymadmum · 06/05/2021 22:37

@notyetamumbuttrying thank you, it's only my temps actually giving me a little hope this month as we only dtd once in fw 🤷🏼‍♀️ I do hate the poking about part lol

@ElsieG3m so sorry that happened to you, it's sad when things get missed like that, especially something life changing xx

ElsieG3m · 06/05/2021 22:45

@Geriatric1234 thanks! Likewise feels such a relief to be half way in there on the vaccine front! Xx

ImpatientTTCer · 07/05/2021 06:00

@ElsieG3m I’m shocked at your story...what a thing to have to go through! It’s so great that you stuck with your gut instinct, and to have kept on until you found the right person to help, it can’t have been easy! I’m very happy to hear about your little girl!

@Misty84 good luck at the Lister today!

@thislittlebird I hope you managed to get some sleep, and that today brings you renewed strength and hope 🤞

Marvellouslymadmum · 07/05/2021 06:51

Temp dropped to 36.72 today and total bfn as always - off for a pelvic exam I go 😣

ImpatientTTCer · 07/05/2021 09:09

@Marvellouslymadmum good luck for your pelvic exam!

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 07/05/2021 10:20

@ElsieG3m so sorry you had to go through that. Its awful to be dismissed when you knew something was wrong.

@Marvellouslymadmum ugh I'm really sorry, so disappointing. Good luck for the pelvic exam! Wondering if on the plus side some of the new stuff you're taking / doing is making your bbts higher. When I started temping I did an online course which said they should ideally be at 98.2 for good progesterone response, which is a pretty high 36.77 in celsius. Mine aren't, but looks like yours are now surpassing that!

notyetamumbuttrying · 07/05/2021 10:41

@Marvellouslymadmum ah I'm so sorry! Our bodies are such teasers! Hope the scan goes well xx

Noodella18 · 07/05/2021 16:22

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 my temps were 0.5 degrees c higher when temping vaginally... I think I sleep with my mouth open!

Henslovetoscratch · 07/05/2021 16:45

@marvellouslymadmum real shame about your temps and BFN, hope scan went well!

@noodella18 hahahhahaa that made me laugh out loud!!

I am having a day of being in a bit of a slump after googling stuff, why do we do it to ourselves?!?!
Anyway, 4dpo and just going to try put the TWW out my mind (who am I kidding!?) Hope everyone else is ok today X

Misty84 · 07/05/2021 16:51

Had the consultation with the Lister, the doctor was nice, she was fairly positive about things while also being realistic. Plan is to have a round of IVF in August (after a particularly stressful job I’m on finishes in July). She reiterated that we won’t know how I’ll respond to the medication until we try. Glad to have a plan.

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 07/05/2021 16:52

@Noodella18 🤣🤣🤣 I think my partner is already perturbed enough by some of the stuff I'm doing. I'm now wondering if I sleep with my mouth open too!

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 07/05/2021 16:55

@Henslovetoscratch feel like its always waiting, waiting to finish period, waiting to ovulate, waiting for the tww etc!

@Misty84 that sounds positive and awesome you're going to be starting it in August, that's really not far away.

Bundaberg84 · 07/05/2021 17:04

I think that is my thread! Hi all, I'm 36, turning 37 in September, started TTC in January. Had a chemical in February and feel like trying again this circle.

Misty84 · 07/05/2021 17:21

Thank you @A1b2c3d4e5f6g7, I’m glad I didn’t come out of it bawling my eyes out as can often be the experience!

And I fully agree with your waiting comment!!!

@Kitekat81 Would love to hear how you’re getting on! Hope you are ok.

ElsieG3m · 07/05/2021 17:32

@Henslovetoscratch don't google!! My rule for this month - no googling! Xx
