@02Carol that's great that your doc is getting on with tests, my prolactin was 275 over 1000 seems very high! I believe it can iPad your oestrogen and progesterone levels out if it's high.

@ShirleyValentineManc I would say if you ovulated early the day 21 would've been done too late as it's supposed to be 7 days after ovulation

@ElsieG3m I don't know if it can effect getting pg if you're ill but I know people who have still got pg when they've been ill in that month. When I had my first vaccine I was ill and it didn't effect my cycle at all that month

@Gummybear17 I have food poisoning from an egg Mayo garage sandwich when I was pregnant with my little boy and it didn't cause any issues, please try not to worry you're doing great so far!

@thislittlebird I'm so so sorry you got a horrible gp, that's awful!! If I were you I'd ring the clinic and ask to speak to someone else. I'm sure you probably do meet the criteria, sounds like she was just being very awkward!! Definitely ask for a second opinion

@M4v3r1ck Glad everything's going ok, I shall be testing tomorrow morning. Not because I want to, I'd rather wait for af (due weekend) but I have a pelvic exam Tomorrow so would rather know first.

🤞🏻🤞🏻 for you @Misty84 hope tomorrow goes well.

Marvellouslymadmum · 06/05/2021 18:06

Oh and temp update - today I didn't get the 'hi' first but it was 37.01 this morning so higher than last couple of days but my rhr was down yesterday - not that I know much about rhr 🤷🏼‍♀️

ImpatientTTCer · 06/05/2021 18:07

@Misty84 😂 Does anyone?! 😂

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 06/05/2021 18:17

@ElsieG3m phew! Quick typing at work, never know if it comes across the way I intend sometimes 😅

@Marvellouslymadmum you would think the benefits of being veggie would be no food poisoning at least 😂 That's a lovely high temperature

Marvellouslymadmum · 06/05/2021 19:00

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 oh I know! Those darned eggs! I barely even eat eggs either only the odd egg Mayo - typical 🙄

It is pretty high! I really don't want to test early tomorrow but because I've got this pelvic exam I'm paranoid lol

notyetamumbuttrying · 06/05/2021 19:21

@Marvellouslymadmum ooh so do you think you will test tomorrow then? How many dpo will you be? X

@ImpatientTTCer lol I concur with that!! 😆

Misty84 · 06/05/2021 19:31

Thank you @Marvellouslymadmum. Very interested in what the Lister have to say. For £220 it better be good!!

thislittlebird · 06/05/2021 19:55

Thanks for the messages, guys. I had to go to sleep for a few hours to try to calm myself and my headache down.

@Geriatric1234 unfortunately I think she’s just not interested. If my own GP said I might not be ovulating she needs to at least talk about my progesterone and offer me clomid or letrozole, she did nothing. Just fobbed us off. My husband’s 9% motility isn’t enough. It’s ridiculous.

@Katiekattty we’re going to call the GP tomorrow. It makes no sense to me that they can no turn around and say I’m unexplained when we both have issues and results below the parameter. She said my FSH will likely be low because my “excellent” AMH is high, but what good are lots of eggs if they’re not coming out and the sperm can’t get to them? Ugh, she was so unhelpful.

@M4v3r1ck thanks! I’m just...very done with all this right now. It’s exhausting.

@notyetamumbuttrying the joke is this appointment was the result of the complaint. She clearly knew we’d complained too and kept saying she “didn’t want to hear about our GP” and how “she was fitting us in”. It felt like punishment for complaining tbh.

@Misty84 because they say we’re unexplained, the problems we have aren’t enough of a problem! What a crock of shit tbh. I’m going to have to go private I’m sure, but they should have at least offered me progesterone or clomid, it’s insane.

@ElsieG3m @ImpatientTTCer yeah I’m going to ring the GP tomorrow. I know I’ll have to go private but that was so unacceptable.

@got2be honestly she was so horrible. Very old (much beyond retirement age) and very rude. She barely acknowledged us and when I got in the room I could tell it would be a bad experience. Barely any time spent on us, I spent more time sobbing. I definitely need a few days, this has wrecked me.

@Marvellouslymadmum she clearly knew we’d complained, it was horrible.

thislittlebird · 06/05/2021 19:57

@Misty84 I think I’m going to book an appointment with the Lister too. I’m desperate for someone to help us, is your appointment tomorrow?

notyetamumbuttrying · 06/05/2021 20:10

@thislittlebird wow wee that's dreadful! What a shitty way to handle a complaint. I'm sorry mate. So are you just parking it with the nhs then? Hope the sleep helped your headache, you poor thing ♥️♥️

Marvellouslymadmum · 06/05/2021 20:11

@notyetamumbuttrying I don't know 🤦🏼‍♀️ I hate hate hate testing early as it puts me in such a bad mood when I see the bfn then I convince myself it's too early 🙄 would a pelvic exam jeopardise a little egg? I've no clue! Maybe I should just not test amd tell the doc I'm 12dpo and see what she says

@Misty84 yes! You'd like to hope you're getting a good chat for that

@thislittlebird sounds like the worst experience I really do hope you can get a second opinion

VixFromThe6ix · 06/05/2021 20:13

@thislittlebird big big hugs for you. What a horrible experience!!! Please don't let a bitter old woman discourage you. Take the time to process and put yourself together. Do not give up. Try getting another opinion, if that's possible. Praying for you

notyetamumbuttrying · 06/05/2021 20:15

@Marvellouslymadmum 12dpo isn't too early in the grand scheme of early so whatever the result you can probably be sure of it. Is it a transvaginal one? I can't imagine it would but for peace of mind test and tell her yeah.

Misty84 · 06/05/2021 20:16

@thislittlebird That sounds awful and yes, like you said it’s almost as if she was pissed off about the complaint therefore being as difficult as possible!
One of my best friends had IVF on the NHS and her fertility was unexplained so I don’t even know how they can give you that as a reason.
Yes, consultation with the Lister tomorrow, I will let you know how it goes so that you can think about that as an option.
For now though I think you should just rest because it sounds like you’ve had a very traumatic day, and TTC for so long is shitty enough without that added to it. Thinking of you xx

VixFromThe6ix · 06/05/2021 20:16

Hi ladies!!

CD8 here, where is everyone else at??

Last month I ovulated a tad early at CD10, so I'm getting ready to go if this would be the case and tomorrow LH is going to read high lol

Got smiley face ovulation sticks on top of my easy@home ones so I'll be testing with both. Hope they are in sync!!!

Anyone else feeling positive??

Marvellouslymadmum · 06/05/2021 20:24

@notyetamumbuttrying no it's not that early I just don't usually text until after af is due

got2be · 06/05/2021 20:31

@thislittlebird sleep always does the trick. It’s ridiculous at how many have bad experiences with nhs when it comes to infertility, and how they stick the unexplained label on. it’s not fair I remember screaming from the top of my lungs this is why people buy fertility drugs online.
You should not be forced to go private, and definitely should not be outcasted because you have complained. you are entitled to be seen. And think this time you need to put your complaint in writing to ccg and make them take you seriously.
Take the time out and come back stronger with a new plan. You got this xx

got2be · 06/05/2021 20:40

@VixFromThe6ix cd10 norm ov 13/17... flashing on clear blue but tried the easy@home and keep getting faint lines. Don’t think they work on me.
Throwing everything at this cycle reflexology, Pom juice Brazil nuts omega 3 anti inflammatory foods fa vit d vit c meditation and morning mantra.

got2be · 06/05/2021 20:45

@VixFromThe6ix oh and caster oil packs and loads of water, only thing worrying me is I’ve had ovary pain since cd8.

VixFromThe6ix · 06/05/2021 20:47

@got2be fingers crossed this cycle is your cycle!!!
I haven't done anything special in terms of diet. I've been taking prenatal for like 1.5yrs now, but nothing else... Should I?
I've gotten pregnant from easy@home timing before so I trust that they are true for me. But some months I have a couple high days and some months I have one day peak, which is harder to catch.
Staying hopeful Grin

VixFromThe6ix · 06/05/2021 20:48

@got2be what are castor oil packs for? I use castor oil for my hair growth and it's working miracles.
How do you identify ovary pain? Every time there is some kind of pain I always think is it ovaries? I have no idea how to tell it from everything else....

got2be · 06/05/2021 21:05

@VixFromThe6ix Im taking vits based on success I’ve seen on mn, was only taking fa before as can’t take a multivitamin, I’ll stick with easy@home alongside cb and see how they sync
I too use for hair eyebrows lashes It’s absolutely amazing. But for packs it’s got to be cold pressed. Completely natural.
The packs are yet another thing I’ve read on mn an google. You put caster oil on cloth put over lower stomach then add heat (hot water bottle) your supposed to wrap with plastic cling but I don’t. Use up to ov then after of on liver. But don’t use while bleeding.
Even tho I mc I did get a bfp last year after using but can’t say for sure it’s what worked. As tried pineapple core that same cycle.
Which makes me feel that my cause of infertility is inflammation

got2be · 06/05/2021 21:14

@VixFromThe6ix I always think ovary pain too. But feel it’s similar to ov pain an same area just constant nagging pain

notyetamumbuttrying · 06/05/2021 21:29

@Marvellouslymadmum yeah I know, will be strange for you but hopefully a wonderful surprise in store!!
@got2be go you, throwing everything at it! Something's gotta work right, best of luck 🤞🏾 the castor oil packs have intrigued me as I suffer from inflammation too, I must give it a go at some point.

got2be · 06/05/2021 21:43

@notyetamumbuttrying thanks I’m at the point I’d try anything.
There is a lot on it online, only thing I’m stuck on if it is inflammation once the packs help get a bfp how to sustain it. As can’t use once pregnant.
That’s why I’ve added omega 3 but can’t say yet if it works?
