@Motherofkittens28 the ivf thread I'm on led me to believe stimming was a week but looks like 9 is the minimum number. How did you find stimming? I'm looking forward to switching as down regging is causing me headaches. I'm hoping that stimming won't do that.

@notyetamumbuttrying I was fine last time, didn't get any discomfort or anything, probably because I have so few follicles. When I froze my eggs back in 2017 I had 12 or 13 follicles and I recall feeling bloated then.

@Motherofkittens28 it only takes 1 egg, just remember that, I know you feel rubbish but you’ve got great chances with those 6 follicles 💐 plus as @notyetamumbuttrying says, you’ll whizz through to EC - I’m fed up of waiting! Chin up x

I only had 12 follicles at my base line scan, I thought it sounded alright but how I’ve seen people with more than double that 😣 truth is you have no idea what you’ve got until you’ve gone through it, try not to worry

@Motherofkittens28 wow that’s really quick, I didn’t realise short protocol was so short! Sorry to hear you’re feeling down. 6 follicles is still a chance of 6 eggs so it could all go much better than last time! 🤞🏻

@notyetamumbuttrying can I ask if you had oestrogen levels checked while you were having investigations?

@Juno231 I feel the same. Utterly pointless. Hospital haven't called. I can't do June. Which means next IUI is July and if they make me miss a month again the last in September. So by the time that's failed and they've applied for IVF funding, I'll be looking at next year. Honestly. What a waste of time. 🤷‍♀️

@Motherofkittens28 I have 12 in last check so guessing I'll get some bloat. Peppermint tea will be stocked up!! And @polejunkie is right in that it only takes 1, and it's quality over quantity too when it comes to ivf! I'm so intrigued to how I'll respond to all the drugs but yes, only time will tell!
@got2be hmm I'm not sure, I'll have to look through the past blood tests and check. Have you?

@notyetamumbuttrying yes had e2 it was 126 which is in range on lower side. That was day 3.
Asked as looking into endo and it links high estradiol to endo but as you said could be silent.

@paintfairy ah that's rubbish they didn't call! Hopefully you won't need the third one, nevermind ivf.

It's Monday so I'm trying to get my ass in gear for the bajillionth time. Been good with my food today and got salmon for dinner. Did a 25 min workout and am currently out to get my 10k steps in for the day. And I've had 2 litres of water today already 😅. Let's see how long this lasts lol.

@2020mission @notyetamumbuttrying FIL never asked about grandkids this time but I spent the whole weekend thinking how nice it would have been to be there with kids 🙄. I think FIL is planning on retiring early this year so I have a feeling the requests for grandkids will pick back up then!

@Juno231 yeah my mum hit us with the grandkids comment after she retired recently so that definitely seems to be a trigger. My dad is also about to retire in August so I know they'll both be keen now! Glad FIL didn't ask you but I completely get it's still not easy. Hopefully you will either get your BFP naturally in the coming months or if not this summer when you can move forward with IVF! Are you finding wearing clothes any easier over your incisions this week?

@Annny27 so sorry about the chemical! I've had them before so I know it's upsetting even if you've only been pregnant for a short time. Keep in mind it's a good sign you caught and your next cycle should come as normal so there should be no delay in trying again.

@Motherofkittens28 I know it's really hard to be positive but those 6 follicles may give you the good little egg you need this time 🤞🏻 I'm with you on the heavy af today - it is not nice!

@got2be I didn't know high oestrogen can be linked to endo!! That makes me think even more that I have it as my oestradiol on day 21 was 1127 when the range for it is 222-854 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Motherofkittens28 @polejunkie my AFC was 18, on stims I had 23 follicles so it can clearly increase so don't lose hope!

@got2be just checked and they never did it so no idea! Odd that they didn't right.
@Juno231 I'm glad FIL was gracious to leave you be this time. By the time he asks again you could have a surprise for him!!
I had salmon for my dinner today too, with Mediterranean veg and turmeric rice, all portion controlled too. Amazing that you're out and about walking too, go you!! I've not sorted my exercise out yet 😬 these injections are sending me a bit loopy so it's affecting my motivation! Or so I'm telling myself 🥴 😂

Thanks @Crazydoglady123 I hoped for that last time but I never got any more. I think when there are more maybe they miss counting some but with so few they can see them all! I have 4 on one side and 2 on the other. Oh well, it is what it is and there is nothing I can do about it. I've just been looking at all my drugs to try to get straight what I need to take tomorrow. Its dual stimulation until Saturday and then they add in the ovulation suppression. I have so many needles it's unreal! I also have dual progesterone support this time so needles for that too!

@Marvellouslymadmum I thought that too when I had my private consultation. They asked for it then and I said I didn't have it. If I'd have gone ahead with private, I would've had it then. Odd that the nhs didn't do it as standard then. It was just fsh and lh on my day 3s.

@got2be yes! They took it on day 21 when levels should be between 222-854 and mine was 1127!! I wondered why it was so high didn't realise it could be linked to endo 🤦🏼‍♀️
@notyetamumbuttrying they did mine at the same time as progesterone and Lh and fsh because they did it all on day 21 and just gave me the levels for all the different times 🤷🏼‍♀️

@got2be I'm not sure it makes any difference when oestrogen is tested to be honest, it says on my results that the levels in follicular phase should be 114-332. Can't believe the doc didn't pick up on mine being so high!

@Marvellouslymadmum interesting that you got lh and fsh on day 21, they should be on day 3 for accurate readings.
