@annny27 can I ask a tmi question.... what is your cm like? I have had some weeiiirrrd cm the past couple of days but I don't know if it is just thrush 🤦🏼‍♀️ it doesn't itch or anything though 🤔 overthinking I know 😅

@robinrose nothings tmi haha. Last pregnancy it has a slightly snot like look and this pregnancy it does look a bit thrush like tmi but more sticky! Kinda gloopy 😂😂

@notyetamumbuttrying the drugs i had to have are less than for IVF and I had 2 migraines that month! The first one on the injections but it was around tea time and I ended up going to bed. Then one last weekend on the progesterone. God that was awful. I was driving a 3 hour round trip and my vision went! Not really ideal at all. 🙈 I'm definitely coming back as a man....

@Crazydoglady123 congratulations! Did you have any to freeze also? Fingers crossed for a sticky embaby!

AF has arrived today bang on schedule so hopefully baseline scan on Monday and then start the drugs Tuesday.

Quick update had my private ivf consultation and all dates given that day 0-100 on basically an hour 🙈
Just wondering if any of you know anything about amh levels got my results from hospital today 5.3pmol/l does anyone know what this means x

Hi @Sjhigs my amh is 5.2 pmol which is considered on the low end for my age (I'm 39). What it means for you is likely to depend on your age someone had put up a good chart a bit ago that showed the ranges for each age, I'll try to find it for you. AMH is the indication of how many eggs you have left, its generally more relevant for ivf as it gives them an idea of how many to expect to collect, it's normally around about your AMH number.

@Motherofkittens28 yessss to AF playing ball for once! Are you short protocol this time then? We have two grade A's frozen and they'll call tomorrow to let us know if any of the other 5 are good to freeze too

@Sjhigs have you had an AFC scan yet? I've read often that's more accurate.

@Sjhigs happy if you want to private message me. I get the worry, during my first ivf cycle they started talking about using a donor egg for me but I did get an embryo to transfer so all is not lost!

@Crazydoglady123 that's wonderful news, I'm so pleased for you! Yes, I'm doing a short this time, I've seen a few people who had a poor long cycle respond well to a short so I have my fingers crossed! I guess my baseline scan should give me an idea of what's available, my AFC in December was 9 but it was only 5 for my first cycle in Feb :(

@Motherofkittens28 thank you. Part of me didn't think we'd get to this stage so I'm relieved and OH allowed some time off Proxeed 🤣 It's sounds like they've really tweaked your protocol this time so I have every bit of faith you'll get some good eggs this time 🙏 Do you take Co-Enzyme Q10?

@Crazydoglady123 I'm not sure I hsd sn internal scan done couple years back but not with my ivf clinic I'm going for a SIS in a few weeks my heads just blank right now with what else he was doing and what it checks

@Crazydoglady123 Thank you! I really hope so! I do take COQ10, but only started in January and upped it after cycle 1 so hopefully it might help more this time as there will be more in my system. Also started taking vitamin D, which might help. I'm glad to be getting started again!

Usually IVF clinics do it alongside the AMH before the consultation. Might be worth checking with your clinic.

@Motherofkittens28 that's good then. I was taking 400mg a day after reading how good it is for egg quality. I have to take vitamin d too as my levels came back low

@Sjhigs unfortunately not but that's not at all uncommon for a first cycle so don't read too much into that!
Did you have an internal scan with your ivf clinic or fertility Dr? That's what they need for an AFC. They need to look at all your results in the round to get a full picture. As I said AMH is relevant for ivf because it indicates how you will respond to the drugs, plenty of people with lower AMH still get pregnant naturally, try not to worry too much!

@polejunkie sorry to hear that, some days it's just so much harder than others. I hope you feel better tomorrow! I had briefly convinced myself I was pregnant until I realised its just AF and it feels different since my lap! I've had a good day though, had my hair and makeup trial for the wedding today ☺

@paintfairy eek that does sound bad! No migraines yet, hope they don't come either. I'm very fortunate to have never suffered one before but my sister used to have them so I know how bad they can get! No wonder what you're not raring to start round 2!

@Sjhigs so mine is 5.4 and I'm 35, I was tested a month before my 35th bday so it's defo low for my age bracket. 35-39 gives you 5.5 as the cut off so I feel very screwed but then also confused as it's meant to correlate with your afc, which I had 12 follicles...not 5 or 6...so it's an odd one! The private consultation I had wanted to redo my amh as they didn't understand how it could be so low with my afc being more than double it. I never did it in the end as our nhs funding got approved. You defo won't need donor eggs, did they say that to you?

@notyetamumbuttrying I get odd ones but not often. Sometimes it's mostly visual and sometimes its a headache with it. But no, its not great! I probably only get a couple a year usually. So 2 in one month was definitely more than usual! I think i would dread taking ivf drugs, I'm just really sensitive?
CD3 and I've still got cramps. My periods are definitely getting worse. It used to be just CD1 when I first came off the pill.
