The girls have swapped their checked shirts for pastel dresses and it’s time to sit back and relax after a stressful few weeks (months…years!!)

@Lovebug06 sorry you had to have a repeat SA. Sounds like we’re in a pretty similar position. My DH also had a repeat and low morphology. Not ideal but definitely better than low count or motility and can be improved with lifestyle so my DH has lowered his alcohol intake and upped the vitamins. I’ve read that if the number is 2 then 2% are normal shaped but 2% of 200 million or whatever is still a good amount. It can also vary.

Yes she tells the family too, and now encourages SIL to have a baby, I haven't been quick enough obviously 😢. It's not meant horribly but. It's thoughtless and I think if SIL gets pregnant it will break me. Already has dc and gets pregnant very easily.
Hoping that the shape thing doesn't mean much or can be improved. It was something like as the form wasn't done correctly they don't know if the sperm is 2 weeks old or 2 days old and then they can't determine if it's an okay shape, if that's makes sense? But he had done as the instructions said so who knows.
Hoping his new app comes through soon.
Hopefully it'll just happen but I just can't see it now. Would be happy to be proved wrong of course! 😊
@ChinChilly congratulations, amazing news❤️ I'm sorry to ask again but how long were you ttc? I know I would have seen it but I get everyone's times mixed up. Sorry if I've missed you say it in the last few pages!
@Cams50 that's good to know it can be improved. He does like a beer. He reckons they didn't tell him anything but weirdly he is suddenly deciding to drink less in the last few days so maybe they have said about that. MIL still obviously saying I'm the problem and he is fine and 'it's obviously not him' . Not saying he has a problem but out of all the tests this is the only thing that has come up so far so?!
Can that effect concieving a lot then?
Sorry to ask but you just seem to know and I've been avoiding all baby things the last couple of weeks 😊

@Lovebug06 I stopped taking the pill in June last year so almost a year. After the CP in March it's a wierd feeling of trying not to get my hopes up. I'm sorry you're feeling down about it all, I think as women we always assume there must be something wrong with us whereas I think men make up 1/3 of fertility problems. It sounds like the possible problem with the SA is down to the delay so hopefully the next one will be clearer

I think I've just peaked on OPK but there's not a hope in hell I'm gonna get OH to DTD this eve as he's knackered and we've done nearly five days in a row and think the pressure may be getting to him... 🙄 😖

@feliznavidad2 you should be fine. I’d say skip a day and aim to cover the 13th too if you can.

@Lovebug06 I’m so sorry you’re going through such a hard time. Good that the tests are all coming back reasonably positive although I can’t imagine the frustration with the mix up and another delay for ye. Is it possible that your OH could have a word with his mam and just ask her to be more sensitive or do you think it would do more harm that good? So sorry you’re not surrounded by support xxx

@CaptainGT I'd literally just google acupuncture + area you live in and see what crops up. There are 3 near me but only 1 of them seems to do fertility related stuff so that narrows it down!

@Lovebug06 totally get it! I'm on cycle 18 now so we're def in the same boat. What a palaver with your OH's SA - I wouldn't worry about the first result though as it sounds broadly ok and it's only with a repeat SA you'll know whether something is actually a problem or a one off fluke due to timing.

@MintGreenLife always lovely to hear from you - I'd echo @LauraT94 on the risks of getting covid when pregnant outweighing getting the vaccine. Hopefully you can pass on the immunity to baba as well?

@TheDaydreamBelievers I just always feel bad seeing your chart and knowing how you must feel and how little I can say to make it better :/ I really, really hope your body gets its shit together asap.

CD8 cycle 18 here. I've been super in the mood for BD since yday so potentially got an early ovulation coming up? I expected it to be late after the lap as I heard it can delay cycles afterwards but I guess we'll see!

@Juno231 I think I'm just gonna be super paranoid until I get a dye stealer! Fingers crossed for a nice early ovulation for you!

The midwife just called, she's going to call again for the booking app next Tuesday, I did explain to her i think the doctor may have reffered me too soon but she said it was fine.

@ChinChilly if she says it's fine just roll with it! How many weeks do you think you are?

@MissM94 well the first day of my last period was the 9th April so not even 5 weeks!

@ChinChilly ahh I see! No harm in getting things organised I suppose but I've never known any one to get a midwife app that soon near me, you must have good support where you are 😂

@MissM94 I know it does seem crazy early, I called the doctors for the full report of my scan and mentioned I was pregnant and she just booked me in with the midwife 🙄

@Lovebug06 don’t worry ask away! I’m no expert of course. Obviously it doesn’t help conception but it’s definitely still possible and I’ve read lots of old threads where people conceive with it. But it does sound like your DH’s result has been massively messed up so might not even be accurate! So I wouldn’t worry x

@Juno231 ah thank you, nothing yet. Apparently I'll hear tomorrow. Feeling really stressed and confused about life at the moment. Now really isn't time for me to be looking for a new job when TTC but I hate my job so much and who even knows if I'll be able to get preg anyway 🤷‍♀️ Fingers crossed for your early ovulation 🤞

Those of you who have fertility appts - are they NHS or private? I've just tonight emailed a private clinic asking if they offer input for people not ovulating

Sorry I’ve been so busy trying to sell my flat. Stressful 😫 currently 7DPO and temp took a slight dip this morning. AF due Monday or Thursday depending on which app I use. Really hoping we get lucky soon as it looks like we’re gonna have to move in with OH parents while we’re waiting for our house to be ready and I don’t fancy DTD too much while we’re there - anyone got any experience of this? I think we will feel like teenagers again 😂

@AllyCat31 ignore any dips at this stage. If your literal phase tends to be standard length drops from approx 9/10DPO are only really relevant. Seen tons of pregnancy charts with dips and rises til then. Maybe book a few well timed nights away with the OH around ovulation time? That’s an awkward one 🙈

11DPO and BFN so I’m prob out for this month. Annoyingly FF is still showing me at 63 pregnancy points and 48% of similar charts showing a pregnancy. Feel like it’s just trolling at this stage. How does it not factor in negative test results. But onwards and upwards to the next cycle and in the meantime a massive big bubble bath planned for the weekend after AF arrives. Also, my new approach this month was just testing every morning after 9 DPO cause least that way I’d pulled the trigger in the morning and could then forget about it for the day instead of wondering. Plenty of Easy@home cheapies lying around so might do that next month too. Time to go stock up on clearblue digital ovulation now.

Huge Congratulations to @Flowers222 and @ChinChilly!❤🙌 You guys give me hope! And @LauraT94 what a lovely bump! Nice to put a face to the name! I always wonder what people look like from their usernames! I think we all have perceptions but I bet they're nothing like! 😂

I'm Cd11 today and looking back 3 out of the last 4 cycles have been cd16 ovulation so we're dtd every other day now starting last night. @AllyCat31 I have a similar dilemma with my Mum coming to stay during fertile week! Like yourself I don't fancy dtd whilst shes here but I also don't want to miss a month! Definitely going to feel like teenagers! 😂

For any of you ladies that track RHR you might find this of interest mine has only just started rising really it was abit flat leading up to my BFP, obviously I'm not to sure when I ovulated so I couldn't mark it on there

Yea @Gracie2021 trying not to over think it but my literal phase was only 11 days last cycle. I don’t have regular cycles at all since coming off the pill. Some are 70 days, some are 36. It’s impossible to work out what’s going on!

@FlyingGiraffe my aim is to try and be successful before that happens which gives us 3 months I think. But we’re gonna be at theirs for 6-8 weeks so I don’t think we can miss out on two whole cycles TTC - it’s going to be interesting if we are still trying by then 😊
