@ChinChilly those lines look fab and exactly like my 13/14 DPO. I'm now 11 weeks today. I know what you mean..... my fear has not gone I had a scan at 6w4d and got one this evening.... hoping after that I relax a little!!

So hope this goes well for you but those lines look great!!!

LauraT94 · 11/05/2021 11:21

@ChinChilly yes the scans are definitely worth it! We saw/heard heartbeat as well at 6+6 scan (measured 6+3 but had caught up and gone ahead by a day at 10 week scan!). Also FWIW I felt better doing a cheapie test every day and not guilting myself over it. It won't do any harm and it's worth doing anything that will put your mind at ease - though use my examples as proof that you won't always see massive/clear jumps every day! HCG roughly doubles every 48 hours in the early stages but it's not a consistent doubling (plus have to take other factors such as hydration and hold into account). Your lines are fab, you're definitely Pregnant 😍

@Flowers222 ahh I must have missed your BFP but congrats to you as well! Yes definitely not always an even progression on lines, never panic haha!

@MintGreenLife glad to hear you're getting on ok - hopefully Polyp calms down soon! I'm getting my first covid jab this month. Have done lots of research and I'm definitely happy with my decision - catcing covid from 28 weeks pregnant comes with much higher health risks. Hope you feel confident in your decision whatever you go for! ❤️

@TheDaydreamBelievers thank you ❤️

Kay00 · 11/05/2021 11:47

@TheDaydreamBelievers hopefully your temps are dropping before you get your ovulation? Mine usually do that. Maybe DTD today just to be sure Grin

@MintGreenLife Wow, 28 weeks, so amazing xx I was thinking about you yesterday in fact, wondering how you were getting along. Sorry to hear about the polyp, Sending lots of positive vibes that that's all it is x

@LauraT94 You're looking amazing! Such a lovely bump

ChinChilly · 11/05/2021 11:50

@TheDaydreamBelievers thank you! I'm not sure what your temps are doing 🤔 possibly gearing up for an attempt at ovulation?

@pineapple2021 @LauraT94 thank you both for your advice, i think if all goes well over the next couple of weeks I'll book a scan for about 7 weeks. I might order some ICs I've only got 1 left, I'm going to try and sit on my hands until Thursday 🤣

MintGreenLife · 11/05/2021 12:03

@ChinChilly no it doesn't help at all, and we're pretty much left to work it out for ourselves with no real guidance. I'm going to ask my consultant today what his take on it is, hopefully he will give me a straight answer!

@TheDaydreamBelievers thanks so much :) x

MintGreenLife · 11/05/2021 12:06

@LauraT94 it's good to hear what others are doing, and generally it looks like most are accepting to have the jab. I've only got 5 days to make my mind up eeek! I really hope I come to a decision that I feel confident in, don't want to get the jab and then be panicking that I've done the wrong thing! I've already read into it a lot but am going to set aside tomorrow afternoon to do as much research as physically possible.

@Kay00 aww thank you :) I've got my 28 week midwife appointment this Friday so looking forward to having my bump measured for the first time and finding out how he's looking size-wise. Hope you're keeping well x

MissM94 · 11/05/2021 12:19

Negative clear blue so god knows what's going on! 😅

Gracie2021 · 11/05/2021 12:51

@MintGreenLife @LauraT94 @pineapple2021 so glad you’re all doing well ladies. Hope you’re enjoying the journal. Love the pic Laura, can really see the bump starting to pop!

@TheDaydreamBelievers my temps go lowest right before ovulation too so hopefully you’re almost there.

@Kay00 wish we could just order ourselves to relax and make it happen! How many DPO are you now? Hope you’re doing well.

@ChinChilly whenever you’ve had a chance to process the good news would love a BFP sumup if you wouldn’t mind xx

@MissM94 how many days DPO are you or were you tracking? If cycle is going longer I’ve found the extra days are usually sitting in the FP rather than the literal phase so possibly you ovulated later than you thought?

TheDaydreamBelievers · 11/05/2021 12:54

@Kay00 @Gracie2021 @ChinChilly hope you are right but OPKs are blank. Considering just stopping using them and going to temps only. I've only ever had one positive on an OPK and have used them for over 6mo

Kay00 · 11/05/2021 13:33

@thedaydreambelievers i hear you! 😆 I have missed so many +OPKs I think my spike happens very quickly and covertly.

@gracie2021 I'm 7dpo and all is going well. I'm super chuffed with this cycle as my body is doing what it should... hopefully it will continue to play ball 🤞🤞

Kay00 · 11/05/2021 13:34

Chart

Post Pill Party – The Garden Soiree
Gracie2021 · 11/05/2021 13:45

@Kay00 lovely looking chart. Hopefully a sign your body is settling into a rhythm too.

@TheDaydreamBelievers Kay00 my LH surge is really rapid (can peak and be gone in 6-12 hours) so I’ve switched to CB digital tests the last couple months as they pick up the estrogen move before the LH moves for more notice. Can see on my chart below. An expensive option though if you’re not sure when to start testing. I’ll be picking up more for next month. Just afraid to jinx myself and order yet 😂

Post Pill Party – The Garden Soiree
ChinChilly · 11/05/2021 14:06

@Gracie2021 absolutely, I stopped taking the pill in June last year, my cycles pretty much slotted into a regular pattern straight away but were pretty light, they got heavier as the months went on, unfortunately I had a CP in March so I got back in contact with my GP and she agreed to get the ball rolling with refferals, so last week I had some bloods and a scan done, the sonographer said everything looked perfect but I haven't had the full results back yet. I had a complete and utter breakdown last week and was an emotional wreck to the point where my friend said she thought TTC was effecting my mental health 🙃 I've been getting sharp stabbing pains in my nipples but apart from that nothing else, I was actually shocked to see two lines because I did a test Friday night before I poured myself a vodka, lemon and lime and that one was negative

ChinChilly · 11/05/2021 14:06

@TheDaydreamBelievers I've seen a few people on here say OPKs are hit and miss for them.

@Kay00 your chart looks really good!

MintGreenLife · 11/05/2021 14:29

@Gracie2021 thank you :)

Gracie2021 · 11/05/2021 14:46

@ChinChilly love the story and delighted for you to get the second line. Fingers crossed all keeps going well for you and good timing that you squeezed in the last vodka 😂👍

ChinChilly · 11/05/2021 15:17

@Gracie2021 I do feel mildly guilty but you know what they say, drink til its pink 🤣

So I called my GP for the full results on my scan, the receptionist said the doctor said they were all fine and she's booked the midwife to call me next week, I feel like that's too early?

MissM94 · 11/05/2021 16:03

@Gracie2021 I'm not sure 😩 been shite at OPK's the past couple of month, match was day 18 of my cycle but haven't had any noticeable pains to say I have ovulated since then 😂

MissM94 · 11/05/2021 16:05

@Gracie2021 March*

Flowers222 · 11/05/2021 16:31

@ChinChilly is that for your full booking appointment or just to start the ball rolling? It does sound very efficient if it's your booking appointment next week! The midwife called me today but that was to organise the booking appointment and blood tests for when I am 7 weeks.

Robyn101 · 11/05/2021 16:54

Just sticking my head in the door to say a HUGE congrats @ChinChilly I’m absolutely over the moon for you

In terms of tests I think it’s all individual, I did ICs every few days for about a week. Did CB weeks indicator and once I’d got the 1-2 left it a week and so on. Once I saw my 3 weeks+ I’ve not tested since.

Private scan at 8 weeks for reassurance felt far enough along to see everything and a heartbeat but not too long before 12 week scan (got that on Friday and have major scanxiety)

Got everything crossed you have a gorgeous sticky bean ♥️

ChinChilly · 11/05/2021 17:13

@Flowers222 she didn't say, she was a bit of a dragon tbh i didn't ask for a midwife appointment i just wanted the full report from my scan

@Robyn101 thank you 💜 i think i will probably stick to every 2-3 weeks if and when i get to the 3+ on the digital I'll stop testing. Good luck with your scan Friday, sure everything will be perfect!

Lovebug06 · 11/05/2021 17:29

Hi everyone,

I disapeared for a bit. Sometimes I need to do that to help myself mentally I think, usually in the first half of the cycle when things are calmer! I need to catch up on how you all are and what's been going on so I've got lots of reading to do!

I am struggling I guess as I just know there is no point even hoping now, well that's how I feel. MIL still saying I need to forget it as it won't happen now until I have treatment. Haven't been told this but when others are saying it, whether it's meant badly or not it brings you down.
5dpo today so nothing much going on.
DH SA was lost for a bit, all parties denied knowledge and took a lot to get it. It's now got low on one of the three things tested, the shape and they didn't know if it was okay, they said it should be but it depends on the amount of time since he last came (sorry tmi) but they said the form wasn't filled in properly so they can't confirm, so it now had to be done again and we have to wait. He just didn't for the time it says not to, 3 to 5 days. Sperm count was really good though and the gp said that the usual problem people have is it being low.
I'm already nearing the end of cycle 17.i had a year of medical stuff to sort in order to get pregnant before that so it's been nearly 2 and a half years of our baby journey altogether. I already feel behind in the testing seeing as I'm cycle 17 and now I've got to wait again just for the SA.

However I know there are women far worse off than me so I feel bad for feeling this way. I'm not upset I just feel drained by it all, I think some of you may understand this x

CaptainGT · 11/05/2021 18:51

How do you ladies find acupuncturists? I just have no starting point to find somewhere but I'm interested in working with one.

been a while since I posted. Have had some back problems preventing us DTD so had a few weeks off.

Am in a waiting period now with AF due on my birthday at the end of the month... hoping for a nice birthday present of some good news maybe.

Kay00 · 11/05/2021 20:21

@captainGT 🤞🤞🤞 for and of month birthday treat

@lovebug06 your experience with the SA sounds rubbish! But if sounds as though count is good, and hopefully that means you have a good chance of the sperm getting to your eggs even if a few are a funny shape? Hugs xxx I can't believe how tough it must be on cycle 17, but your MIL telling you to 'forget it's is really unhelpful, you could still get pregnant on any cycle, so keep trying whilst you get your tests done xx
