@AMS19 thank you, I will maybe wait until my AF appears to drink that then so I can track ovulation but will start my other vitamins/supplements now. I hope to exercise a bit in the next couple of weeks too, I have a spin bike at home. Just taking it easy and also try and eat well. I haven't had an appetite the last couple of weeks for obvious reasons but know I need to start eating better soon for my body and mind x

AMS19 · 22/03/2021 11:27

@No1worrier I find just even getting out and walking following my mmc helped. I'm now getting out everyday and doing at least 10k steps, which when you work from home is challenging! Just take it one step at a time. You've been through and are still going through a lot, there is no rush ❤

@AMS19 thank you!

No1worrier · 22/03/2021 11:44

@AMS19 yes I definitely plan on doing this once I am fully healed, I'm struggling mentally to leave the house at the moment. Even when the door goes, I have a huge panic inside me, I hide until my partner answers. Most of the time it has been flowers sent from family/friends. I know I can't go on like this so hopefully as the weeks go by I will feel more comfortable about leaving the house x

Pettylamby · 22/03/2021 11:59

Just marking my place ladies!

@PlantMummy87 that's great progression, keeping everything crossed for you! 🤞🏻

Have phoned EPU more just for reassurance than anything else, just waiting on a call back!

Quinn26 · 22/03/2021 12:08

@AMS19 thanks for setting up a new page :)

@No1worrier I found exercise has helped too, just when it gets too much I like to go out and walk listen to a podcast or some upbeat tunes. I can't imagine what you are going through but one day at a time. There is no rush, just be easy on yourself x

justwant2beamum · 22/03/2021 12:09

Place marking on new thread :)

@No1worrier so awful for you can't even imagine what you're going through. Take as long as you need to hide from the world x

SuzieDeLaTour · 22/03/2021 12:13

@AMS19 thanks for setting up a new thread!
@Pettylamby I hope the EPU can offer you some reassurance - let us know how you get on x

Sugarskulllover · 22/03/2021 12:41

Morning ladies,

@AMS19and @SuzieDeLaTour thank you both 😘😘 I think we’re all amazing here just trying to be the best mummies to our future babies we will be bringing home (positive affirmation time!!)

So this morning I had the slightest bit of brown spotting so of course I’ve decided I’m out! Will see when AF decides to show her ugly face. I’ve also calculated that this next cycle will be our last shot at bringing home a baby in 2021(because I’d be induced/having a section three weeks early), so that’s really made me pretty down even though I’m trying to be so positive.

I’m going to adopt @ams19 mantra that my body is just waiting on the perfect egg and I just need to do all I can do to help it pick that one out!!!

Madeoftea · 22/03/2021 13:07

Thanks for the thread @AMS19

I've had sore boobs the last couple of days which normally happens after ovulation for me so I'm hoping my period is on its way in a couple of weeks. I think I'll feel better once I know I'm in a new cycle and where I'm at with my body. Still think I'll be gutted when it does come though! I didn't have much mc bleeding so I'm expecting it to be quite bad.

@Pettylamby I hope the epu are reassuring for you ♥️

glowingtwig · 22/03/2021 13:14

Thanks @AMS19 marking my place.

How terrifying @Pettylamby I hope the EPU can make you feel reassured. It is so common- Professor Regan mentioned in her book that spotting is most often nothing to worry about. I'll try and find the page for you later xx

Pettylamby · 22/03/2021 13:26

Thanks everyone!

Ah thanks @glowingtwig that would be great, fed up googling and scaring myself!

EPU called back, she was really nice and just said that spotting in weeks 5-6 is very common and usually implantation, she said only worry if its period style bleeding and this was not!

Still got brown cm but that's all it appears to be! Almost feels like my nausea has increased a bit as well but maybe just nerves!

She basically said I was right to phone but just to monitor it and come in on 1st April as planned, howevee, if anything else happens then just give them a ring back!

Xx

AMS19 · 22/03/2021 13:34

That all sounds very positive @Pettylamby I think this little one is just keeping you on your toes!! Xx

Hello all 😊 That sounds reassuring @Pettylamby such a stressy time!
Finally some sunshine so am out soaking up vit D. Grin I caved and got dh to come up early. He wasn't due to leave London until Wednesday and my tracking app reckons Saturday for peak fertility and my opks haven't been really strong but I've been getting flashing smilies and cervix high, ewcm and feeling horny (tmi!) Blush
I really didn't want to miss a chance again so persuaded him to duck out of work. Still no static smilie yet but feel like it must be soon...

AMS19 · 22/03/2021 14:45

@SleepyKitKat ahh Well done! Does he have to be in London for work then? The weather is amazing isn't it!! Amazing the difference you can feel after a bit of sunshine 🌞

Thanks for thread @AMS19 marking my spot x

LauraT94 · 22/03/2021 15:12

Thanks for the new thread @AMS19

@Pettylamby I'm sorry you've had some spotting! It's so worrying isn't it?! I've had a tiny amount of brown cm today but I was kind of expecting it as 5+3 is when I had my first bleed last time. Last time was way more though so I'm hopeful that this is normal! Sending love.❤️

Sorry guys for not keeping up properly! Between doing an hours walk everyday, struggling to get uni work done through brain fog and napping an hour every day it doesn't leave much time for social media 😂

Pettylamby · 22/03/2021 15:36

@LauraT94 last time I had some at 6 weeks and then after finding out about the MMC just assumed they were related, which they might have been but also might not have been!

I KNOW that it can just be Implantation but it doesn't make it any easier! Compared to the bleeding I had when I first got my BFP it really was nothing!

The only positive is I feel like my nausea has ramped up today! So hopefully just embryo getting buried in deeper and HCG getting nice and high!

How are your symptoms today? Do you still get a bit of cramping or anything?

SleepyKitKat · 22/03/2021 15:44

YAAAS thought I'd do a quick check this afternoon and got my static smiley GrinAm very very happy that my body sent me good correct signals and that dh came up last night to dtd!

He's going away again possibly tomorrow what do you think timing wise with dtd now? Should I go for it again tonight, wait until tomorrow morning so a bit of recovery time for him?

@AMS19 and yeah he's London based most of time. He can do some stuff from home but mostly has to be there plus he has a teenage son from his first marriage who sometimes stays with him. He has his own place down there and he ends up down there more than here most of the time - all a bit of a logistical nightmare when it comes to this kinda timing!

AMS19 · 22/03/2021 15:57

@SleepyKitKat yeah that definitely involves a bit of planning! In terms of DTD...could you do both?

OP posts:
LauraT94 · 22/03/2021 17:49

@Pettylamby yes it's definitely impossible to completely rationalise it! I'm surprisingly calm and not bothered considering this is something I've been dreading. I think I'm just adopting a 'what will happen, will happen. Nothing I can do will change that' attitude 🤷🏼‍♀️

Symptoms are going strong! I've been having on and off nausea since hitting 5 weeks on Friday, definitely gets worse when I'm hungry so I've bought some Ritz to have on my bedside table as I wake up ravenous! My nipples feel like they're so bruised and the sides of my boobs are really sore/bruisey too. And main symptom is just that I'm SO ridiculously tired 😂 cramping is still on/off but I feel like in general it's lessened... I'm getting more backache than anything!

Your nausea ramping up is definitely a good sign and after your bleed at the beginning, for your bubba to continue growing I just know it's a strong one and is staying put! ❤️

Ralala · 22/03/2021 18:11

Place marking.

Thanks for the new thread xxx

SuzieDeLaTour · 22/03/2021 18:14

@Pettylamby I hope the epu managed to reassure you. I’ve had early red/pink spotting in the past and it’s all been fine so it can definitely just be part and parcel of little bean getting all nice and snuggled. Fingers crossed that’s the end for you and you can try (!) and relax a bit before your scan 😘
So AF came and bit me on the backside this afternoon - bang on 12DPO as was my norm pre miscarriage so at least my cycles seem like they’re returning to how they were. I say this now...I bet it turns into a bloody beast again. Dreading that happening again, last time I was scared to leave the house for fear of leaking all the way down the street 🤢🤣 x
