Thanks @AMS19
Oh I didn't realise it could take that long. I lost my twins at 12w, had medical management but they got stuck in my cervix so had to stay in anyway.
You're so right. That had been my plan and I was doing really well until I spoke to my pregnant sister. I'm such a control freak, I find it really hard to let go. But that's a very good point about the heartache later on.

Thanks for your kind words x

Morning all,

Hope you’re ok. Sorry to hear about your MC @LaurenNH.

I’m having such a weird cycle, no idea what’s going on. Didn’t get a peak on CB OPKs so thought I’d missed it with the tests, usually O around CD15-17. Had EWCM on CD16 so thought I must’ve ovulated. Anyway, C26 yesterday and got so much EWCM, literally never had as much in my life (sorry TMI!). Worried I’ve ovulated late now. We stopped DTD on CD21 so guessing if I have ovulated late then we’ve missed it. God why is this all so hard?! I know the only way to confirm O is to temp but I don’t sleep particularly well so don’t think it’d work for me.

Hope you all enjoy the bank holiday x

@LaurenNHi know right now it's hard to see the positives, trust me I'm in my 5 months post mmc and it's killing me not being pregnant, but I always said I'd rather wait for the perfect embryo than fall quickly than have another mc. The positives here are your body can and clearly wants to get pregnant for it to happen to quickly. Which means you'll keep getting a shot at this. But is also clever enough to know it isn't viable. So hopefully very soon you'll fall again with the perfect sticky one! ❤

@MSK1 morning. If it was definitely EWCM then it does seem you might not have ovulated yet. Have you done any opks after seeing the ewcm to check?

Hey @AMS19, hope you’re ok.
Annoyingly I’ve run out of OPKs. Odd though, I had about 9 days of high on my CB OPKs, was getting really stressed about it. Ran out of sticks and then I’d say I’ve ovulated? Maybe I relaxed a bit after stopping testing each morning? Who knows? We’ll carry on DTD now for a few days and see what happens I guess. My cycles have been pretty normal since my MC though, if I am due to ovulate then this one would have to be 40 days long, which is a lot longer than usual. We’ll see I guess. X

AMS19 · 03/05/2021 13:07

@MSK1 yeah just keep dtd to be on the safe side. Maybe you see had an estrogen surge and it produced some ewcm with it. It won't be impossible for that to be the case!

Sending you big hugs @LaurenNH, keep us updated with how you are. Like @AMS19 said it is positive that you did fall so quickly and hopefully the next one will be that sticky bean 🤞
I’m also trying to remember that for myself right now too, did an Asda this morning and it’s an absolute squinter. Starting to get twinges and cramps so I’ve accepted this is a chemical (bit paranoid after googling about ectopic).
I will tell my doctor, she wasn’t too concerned after my missed miscarriage but I’m concerned because I’m 36 in a few weeks and I’m thinking it’s probably my egg quality or lack of I should say :/

Congratulations to all the BFPs on here it really does keep my hopes up, here’s hoping for more soon!

@H2C12 I'm sorry it's so rubbish! Defo tell your gp and keep testing to keep an eye on it. It will happen girls, I truly believe that! Xx

Thank you @AMS19 Xx

LaurenNH · 03/05/2021 17:00

@H2C12 I'm so sorry. It's the absolute pits.

Chev2021 · 04/05/2021 10:25

I'm CD20 and 6DPO. The days are moving at a glacial pace! I'm trying so hard so put it all to the back of my mind and to hold off testing until after AF is due.

How does everyone manage to resist the temptation to obsess over everything? Any tips?

Also, I'm trying to wait to test until after AF is due (unless of course she arrives first). How many DPO do you all test?

gizmo167 · 04/05/2021 11:08

Morning all, just checking in x

Officially hit 6wk mark today and no spotting or bleeding this time, both my mc's ended at this point so really hoping this one sticks!!! Been super nauseous the last few days, cant lift my head at times, really really bad :(

wag1987 · 04/05/2021 11:12

@Chev2021 it's so hard to not want to test, I tested at 10dpo this time and got my BFP. But in the past it was later than that.

Chev2021 · 04/05/2021 11:12

@gizmo167 That's excellent news. Whilst of course it's natural to be worried or anxious, I hope that you're able to feel excited and hopeful. Every pregnancy deserves that.

I hope the nausea clears a little.

I'm so happy for you.

wag1987 · 04/05/2021 11:13

Fingers crossed for you @gizmo167 glad all going well. I'm 6 weeks on Sunday and still don't have any symptoms so constantly worrying but sure they will come soon enough.

Chev2021 · 04/05/2021 11:25

@wag1987 Thanks for your reply, that's good to know. We have a long week of socialising immediately after when AF is due. I'd rather have a day or so to pull myself together if we don't get the news we're hoping for.

wag1987 · 04/05/2021 16:51

@Chev2021 yes I completely understand. Fingers crossed for you

Ralala · 04/05/2021 18:58

Hi ladies how are we all?

I’m 5 weeks now . Haven’t called midwife, we haven’t told anyone. Just going to leave things for another week or two and see where we are at then. Small steps

Madeoftea · 04/05/2021 20:02

@Ralala how are you feeling lovely?

I just got my bfp today at 10dpo and my main emotion is just scared. I'm worried because my cycle has been so long and I didn't ovulate until day 28 that I'm going to be classed as over 5 weeks already when I've only just got a positive 1-2 weeks test. I haven't even missed my period yet. Can you tell I'm stressing already?? I need to take it one day at a time but how do you turn your brain off.

AMS19 · 04/05/2021 20:40

Hi @Ralala 5 weeks is fab, you're past chemical stage, first hurdle done. Now let's get that scan with a heartbeat in the bag

@Madeoftea huge congratulations!! So many bfps it's great news

Ladies the thread is nearly full. Shall I create another one? I know a few of you have bfps might prefer to move onto the pregnancy boards. Let me know if people still find it helpful to have this xx

I’d like to join the new thread 😊

Ralala · 04/05/2021 22:14

@AMS19 a new thread would be great. I’m still hanging about for now

@Madeoftea congratulations! I have been pretty anxious since finding out last week. Small steps, take it day by day

MSK1 · 04/05/2021 22:18

Yes please @AMS19, this thread is the only thing that’s keeping me sane at the moment.
Had a rough weekend, lots of catching up with friends who are either pregnant or have just had babies. Lovely but oh so hard.

Congrats @Ralala and @Madeoftea keeping everything crossed for you both! X

LaurenNH · 05/05/2021 07:29

@AMS19 yes please do keep this one going!!!

AMS19 · 05/05/2021 08:38

Here we go ladies. I havent tagged as I don't want to miss anyone
