The Ferti-Lily

Hey,

So... this is month 24 of TTC and I've just invested in a ferti lily! 😂 it's last resort before turning to science!

So long story short, I have 2 DC from a previous relationship. I have been trying for 2 years for another as my new partner doesn't have any and obviously I would love another one. I have had all tests etc and I have been diagnosed with a blood disorder which hopefully will be sorted with Asprin. I have had 2 chemical pregnancies along the way.

DP has low mobility hence trying the ferti lily!

So my question is.. has anyone else been using this?

@Slomi Congratulations 😊 so glad someone has had their BFP and shared with us! Gives us all a bit of hope! I'm out for this month but hopefully next month 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I got my period on Friday- was really pissed off actually as literally DTD every single day of FW and every day of solid smiley on clear blue

Oh well onto March

Argh ladies I'm on cd12 and still haven't used the ferti-lily cup, and I got a positive opk this morning! 🤦‍♀️ Will have to try and use it today and tomorrow or I'll have missed my chance again. Trouble is I seem to have lost the instructions! 🙈 There seems to be quite a lot of info on the website about how to insert it, but it doesn't say how to clean it. Do you just rinse it with hot water, or do I need to boil it again between uses?

@Kitekat81 you don't have to boil it again, just wash it with warm water making sure to clean the little holes so they don't get clogged. It's pretty straightforward once you've done it a couple of times

Thanks @Marvellouslymadmum! I used it for the first time today, no idea if I did it right but I just shoved it up there and hoping for the best. Are you supposed to feel your cervix when you are pushing it up there? I felt like I was shoving it up into the great unknown 😳

@Kitekat81 😂😂 I've got no hope of reaching mine lol I've tiny hands and short fingers so it's poked as far as I can poke and hope for the best the same as you!

@Marvellouslymadmum lol I'm glad it's not just me! 🤣🤣🤣 Well I just took it out for the first time, came flying out and landed in the toilet, so I think I might be boiling it before next use after all 🤣🤣🤣

How are we all doing ladies? I'm on the 2nd day of my solid smiley today. Only DTD yesterday and will do again tomorrow as OH sperm have low motility so from looking at his samples we have a better chance holding off on DTD until ovulation. I did use the fertilily! It's like a proper little plunger 🪠 when you get it up far enough 😂!

@Slomi hows the pregnancy going?

Morning, I am on CD11 and booked in for a hycosy today so not tried yet this month. I usually ovulate CD17 but will see what consultant thinks today.

Yes the ferti-lily is def like a plunger, hate the noise is makes coming out 🥴😂

@MummyT13 I am cd12 and had flashy smoky yesterday so dtd with fertility-lily thinking we had a few days then got my static today! So should ov tomorrow will probably not dtd today as we are suspecting mfi too and then bd tomorrow and 🤞🏻🤞🏻it's definitely like a plunger 🪠 😂😂 doesn't always want to come out! 😳

@MummyT13 I'm 5/6 dpo, used the ferti-lily twice in fw. Honestly felt more like I was just stirring things up, rather than pushing or holding things up there 🙈😂

@Kitekat81 I felt like that yesterday as it just didn't want to go in straight 😂

Hi! I'm thinking about getting a ferti-lilly before possible starting IVF.

Where did you get it from? Just amazon or boots?

@dogmam I got mine from boots, they're pretty quick at sending or you can do click and collect to a store

Just to let you ladies know, I was TTC for 1 month without success, then used the Fertilily for the second - used it twice and fell pregnant ♥️

Hi, I'm one day late but negative first response so just a waiting game.

I literally just ordered one off Amazon, I was 50/50 but OH has a low motility so thought might as well whilst waiting for ivf.

Will give it ago this month. Let's see! Im not being too optimistic.

Good luck @PurpleUnicorn01 I am using throughout this fertile window and will report back. Will be the 3rd cycle using it although 1st cycle hasn’t quite got the hang of it..
