Mustkeepgoing2 · 30/04/2021 07:25

OMG! Rather unbelievably girls I have just tested at 9 DPO and it’s a BFP!

Very faint. I’ll upload in a minute but it is there!

I am literally due for my baseline scan and order of my IVF drugs today!!!!!!

It’s so early and I am feeling all sorts of nervous and confused as I was so geared up for it all.

(You are the first people I have told! Is that weird?)

Xxx

Thanks guys, i'm ok. That was a 29 day cycle so hopefully things are settling down eventually.

Just thinking thats @Mustkeepgoing2 and @RichmondLady1981 both falling pregnant after starting IVF - maybe I just need to pull my finger out and get on with it xx

Mustkeepgoing2 · 30/04/2021 12:41

Thank you all so much ladies. Really really early days but going to take a day at a time.

@elsimo We have been trying since January 2020. I would have liked to have started earlier than that but my period only returned 18 months after my little boy was born.

I fell pregnant in April 2020 but it was sadly an Ectopic and then I fell again in July but it ended in a chemical and again in August 2020 but sadly at the 10 week scan we discovered our little boys heart had stopped. It has been a really rough journey and it has all but broken me at times.

I am honestly so thankful for this group. Even though I haven’t posted much I have been following everyone’s story’s and it has honestly kept me going and made me feel like I am not alone. So thank you all.

Thinking of you all and keeping my fingers crossed for you all too.

Stay strong xxxx

Canadadarling · 30/04/2021 12:49

I've started using ovulation sticks the last few days. Does anyone have any advice on using them? I'm not sure the best time to do it & ive heard i should be doing it twice a day when I'm close to ovulation but how will I know I'm close? There's a lot of conflicting information on the internet Confused pic of the ones I've done so far

Acebobase · 02/05/2021 14:08

So I'm 7 weeks and have started spotting with mild cramping. Called out of hours and the earliest appt they can get me at my EPAU is Thursday.
If this is it, it'll be my third in a row (it's how the others started) and no one seems to care about trying to figure out why it keeps happening.
NHS services for this are so dreadful! I'm so angry and frustrated

susiebluebell · 02/05/2021 14:57

@Canadadarling You could start doing them 2-3 times a day (if you can be arsed!) about two weeks after your period finishes. That's if you have no clue when your usual ovulation is.

That's what I've done this month, as I'm trying to pin down my crazy irregular cycles. I started doing OPKs consistently around CD15/16, and have moved up to 3 times a day currently, as I wait to see if I get the LH surge. So far nothing, and it's CD28, so wish me strength! Hmm

@Acebobase Really sorry to read that they haven't been more quick to help you. It MIGHT not be anything - plenty of healthy pregnancies have cramping and even bleeding. One of the ladies on here had a couple of tampons' worth of blood with one pregnancy, which resulted in a child. So please don't worry yourself more than you can help! Thinking of you x

Canadadarling · 02/05/2021 15:09

@susiebluebell I have no idea about my cycles as they have been irregular for a while now, so I think I will try and do them each day I don't want to skip one and them miss my ov day! Although flo seems to think It will be on CD20 I'm not sure how accurate that is.
People don't prepare you for how much work ttc is and how many things you have to pee on 😂 keep going though it will be worth it in the end!

@Acebobase I'm sorry to hear how you're feeling and I completely understand the anger and worrying of waiting. I hope everything will be ok and remember some people have period type bleeds throughout pregnancy and their babies turn out fine so it's not always bad news x
