No not at all, although I think ttc turns us all into mad women @gizmo167!! And especially after loss it just takes all the joy out of it doesn’t it. The odds are in your favour for a lovely perfect baby xxx

Mustkeepgoing2 · 27/04/2021 11:54

Thank you @bez91. I seem to have a similar inconsistency with CM in the luteal phase which I guess just goes to show how unhelpful symptoms spotting can be.

This is my last cycle before I start IVF so I am feel impatient and anxious. It would be so lovely to get a BFP before we start but I do feel like I have lost confidence in the whole process.

Going to test on Friday which is only 9/10 DPO so very early but it is the day we fork out for all the drugs etc so I think I can justify an early test just in case we don’t have. Fingers, toes and as I am out of my fertile window legs crossed too 😂😂

Mustkeepgoing2 · 27/04/2021 12:05

@J785948

Sorry for your losses. It is so hard and I completely understand how you are feeling. I had an ectopic in June and a MMC in October.

I possibly had two chemicals too in July and December but I am sceptical as to whether they were chemicals or residual left over HCG from my earlier losses as AF arrived basically bang on time!

Nothing has happened since apart from the fact I seem to be hanging around with an extremely fertile friendship group. I mean please throw everything at me at once 🙄

It’s so bloody hard and there are good days and bad days but as my name suggests there are two options give up or keep going.

I understand the empty numb feeling you describe and it is awful. It will get easier but please just give yourself time.

I have had all the tests done because they counted one of the chemicals as number 3 and everything apart from a low ish AMH is fine and I was almost assured by my consultant that I would be pregnant in 3 months but here I am...

My only advice would be make sure you ring your EPU and GP to record the miscarriage as they will then be able to do the tests.

Sending love xxx

bubblybrit · 27/04/2021 12:36

@Loulou237. FRER now not due to arrive until tomorrow. However, I don’t think I’ll need to wait that long as got a feeling AF is on her way. Very light pink spotting and I just ‘feel’ as if she’s about to start any minute now. Think I’ve gotten to the stage that I just want to know one way or another. If it is AF as expected then I can at least look towards the next cycle x

bubblybrit · 27/04/2021 12:46

@gizmo167. I’m sorry that you are having a wobble today. Try not to worry too much about fluctuating symptoms. When I was pregnant with DD I had every symptom under the sun for the first 6-7 weeks. They then completely disappeared overnight and didn’t resurface until about a week later. DD is now 2 so try not to read too much into it. I’m sure that everything is fine xx

gizmo167 · 27/04/2021 14:09

Thanks @bubblybrit, really want to hope youre right but I just dont feel "right" today and really dont think its going to be good news :(

Loulou237 · 27/04/2021 14:43

Has anyone here had a molar pregnancy? I’ve just received histology results from my miscarriage saying I may have had one and I’m being referred for follow up. Have done some reading up but it’s all very confusing and difficult to process. Looks like we will have to put ttc on hold for at least six months if I have had one Angry

elsimo · 27/04/2021 17:08

I tested - BFN Hmm

I just wish I knew what the hell our problem was xx

bubblybrit · 27/04/2021 19:20

Are you able to go for an early scan for reassurance @gizmo167. Private ones local to me can be done from 6 weeks (although might need to be internal) for approx £60. I know it might not be an option for everyone but if it’s affordable then might put your mind at ease x

bez91 · 27/04/2021 19:25

Hi @Loulou237 I haven't personally but I have a friend who has had a molar pregnancy. Have they told you to put ttc on hold or is that what you've decided based on what you've read? I'd push them if you can to speak to them.

@elsimo ahh so sorry on the BFN ☹️ never gets any easier I know 💕

gizmo167 · 27/04/2021 19:40

@bubblybrit yea its something I will look into x

Anyone feel just really achy in tummy area? Like belly ache?

bubblybrit · 27/04/2021 19:49

@elsimo I’m sorry to hear that you got a BFN. It’s soul destroying isn’t it? Any sign of AF or is there a possibility that you have tested too early? Xx

Loulou237 · 27/04/2021 20:20

Thanks for replying @bez91, no I haven’t been told anything yet I need to wait for more info I guess. It does look that way from what I’ve read though. Oh well can’t change it by worrying xx

bubblybrit · 28/04/2021 06:42

Well AF arrived this morning.....with a vengeance. It wasn’t entirely unexpected but I’m so disappointed after being 5 days late with a whole host of symptoms. I’m hosting a super important meeting with external clients today on Zoom. I am dreading it as the last thing I want is to be on camera 😢

susiebluebell · 28/04/2021 09:12

@bubblybrit Ah I'm sorry af arrived, what a shitshow. Hope the zoom call goes well - maybe a blessing in disguise if you can totally focus on it?

susiebluebell · 28/04/2021 09:18

Ladies I've just been reading on instagram that Tommy's (the baby loss charity) are campaigning to have support available after every miscarriage, to have testing and treatment standardised, and to have a national register to record and count every miscarriage. My mind is a bit blown by this, especially the last one - I feel a bit emotional actually and it's weird to think that we have no official statistics or register for how often this occurs. And it occurs a lot - 1 in 4 pregnancies! It's so secretive still, and sometimes shameful/feelings of self-blame etc. The more I think about it, the more I want to get on my soapbox and bring miscarriage care into the 21st century. Even some of the things you ladies have been told/been through... 😕 Thought it was a great development anyway x

(Nothing to report here other than ovulation still hasn't shown up on OPKs and it's cd 20-something 🙄)

Mustkeepgoing2 · 28/04/2021 10:11

@bubblybrit so sorry to hear this. It doesn’t get any easier does it. Sending love.

@gizmo167 I think cramping is normal in early pregnancy. Try to stay positive as today you are pregnant so you are past such a massive hurdle 😊 I know it is hard but honestly I would give anything to be where you are now.
Maybe see if there are any new BFP groups to join to as I am sure there will be lots of information on there.

I do get a warm feeling in my stomach before AF but I also got it when I previously got a BFP too. AF and early pregnancy symptoms are unfortunately so similar thanks to the ragging hormones.

Xxx

bez91 · 28/04/2021 10:19

@susiebluebell yes I've been following their campaign and shared something on my Instagram about it yesterday. As they aren't all recorded the actual figure I imagine is much much higher. When do you usually ovulate are you a bit late?
I'm CD31, no sign of AF 🤦🏼‍♀️

gizmo167 · 28/04/2021 10:57

@bubblybrit sorry af arrived hun, onwards and upwards for this new cycle, you can do it!!!

@Mustkeepgoing2 I'm very very grateful for where I am hun, after 2 mc's believe me I really am which is why I worry about everything, maybe I shouldn't but I can't help it, end of the line for me if this one doesn't stick x

Mustkeepgoing2 · 28/04/2021 10:58

@gizmo167 Keeping everything crossed for you lovely. One day at a time xxx

Marvellouslymadmum · 28/04/2021 11:01

Hi all just trying to catch up! @Mamat90 sorry you're feeling low, @bubblybrit sorry af turned up 😞 @Mustkeepgoing2 sounds like your sister was very insensitive! But definitely used you for reference which was definitely unfair even if she didn't realise it!
@J785948 sorry to hear of your mc, bleeding can be normal in early pregnancy but if it is another mc I would say contact the did you spoke to before and see what they say now. I've had 2mc and 2cp but no help apart from a lot of blood tests so far! Hopefully you'll get some answers
@gizmo167 I didn't have sore boobs with either of my successful pregnancies and just try to remember every pregnancy is individual with individual signs
@Loulou237 I haven't had one so can't help I'm afraid but 6 month seems like a long time to wait!
@susiebluebell that's really positive about Tommy's! I've had 2mc and 2cp but because the docs were only involved in one that's the only one recorded for me!

@elsimo sorry you got a bfn

susiebluebell · 28/04/2021 11:14

@bez91 I think it's really good and about time! Makes me angry how we put up with care options being essentially like doing the lottery; sooo many messages on here about 'push them to do x; I can't get z where I live' etc... beggars belief really but we think it's normal.

It's tough though because as much as I get riled up about it, my miscarriage is something I actually DON'T want all my colleagues etc to know about. It's painful enough talking to family about it. So it's hard to know how to go about opening the conversation up - but I suppose that's the same as other touchy medical things.

Re your other question, my normal cycle is 34 days and I should have ovulated a couple of days ago! But recently I've had all these ridiculous long (45+) cycles and am just hoping for one in the 34-day range. Will keep doing OPKs 3 times a day and see what happens.

bubblybrit · 28/04/2021 13:34

Thank you all. It’s taught me to symptom spot less and not get too excited when AF is late....even if it’s by 5 days. Work is difficult today but just soldiering on. Trying to think ahead to the next cycle x

1990EM · 29/04/2021 15:48

Hi ladies. I haven't posted on here in a few months but have been checking in every so often and cheering you all on. I joined this group nearly a year ago when I devastatingly lost a baby at 10 weeks pregnant. This little community helped me so much. I'm so sorry to see some familiar names still waiting for their BFP, what a journey it is Sad and one that none of us would have chosen.
I now have my little rainbow baby, born a few weeks ago and even though we love and adore him and are so grateful for him, I think every day about the one we lost and I think of you ladies a lot too, such a strong and courageous bunch!! Just wanted to come on and send everyone some love and prayers. you never know how much sharing your stories on here, even anonymously, can help someone else who is needing the support they don't have anywhere else ❤️

Marvellouslymadmum · 29/04/2021 18:30

@1990EM hi 👋🏻 so lovely to hear a positive story, thank you so much for sharing. Definitely gives a little hope that there may actually be light at the end of the tunnel!
