Congratulations to all of the positives!! So so many! Hoping this is a lucky group!

As for us we're still waiting for a negative after medical management! Hoping we will get a positive in the next few months!!

Also survived our first 'when will you have kids' since the miscarriage and managed to not punch them in the face or cry so that's good news! 😂

Norainnorainbows2 · 11/02/2021 21:13

@Pancakes7 thank you and sorry for your losses too and congratulations on your bfp, your lines look great. I feel really calm this month too, I think it's my calmest ever, even though I'm getting bfn, I just don't feel the usual sadness or panic and I've only poas twice with ICs. Might buy myself some jewelry with the money I've saved on digitals this month Grin

@Mamat90 that question is just so hurtful without intent behind it, hopefully as more people become aware of the struggles some people go through, that question goes away! Well done for not punching or crying, I don't know if I was ever as composed when we were asked that, I used to tell people that we did have a baby on the way but it didn't work out.

bez91 · 11/02/2021 22:19

@PumpkinEverything ahhh an early scan, I don't blame you I think I'll be doing the same if I get my BFP. After my MMC, DH said we're never doing one again but I will be doing 😊

@ELMcg Great on the willpower to hold out until AF well overdue, you're my kind of girl. I'm strictly 14dpo, no sooner. I just cannot be doing with the uncertainty and anxiousness

Welcome @Norainnorainbows2 👋

@Mamat90 ahh the dreaded question. I think it just comes so naturally to some people to ask. At a baby shower last year my auntie was going through all the cousins guessing how many children or how many more children she thinks they'd have. I already have one and she said she thinks I'll have 2, the baby shower coincided with the day I started bleeding for my first MC 🤦🏼‍♀️ I don't wear my heart on my sleeve so easily brushed off but god the timing 🙈

Just joining in with the new thread- huge congrats to @Pancakes7 and @PumpkinEverything!

Pancakes7 · 12/02/2021 06:29

@Norainnorainbows2 Aw thank you. Good idea to treat yourself. I'm glad you're not feeling too upset this month. I found this happened from maybe the cycle before this one. It's nice when you can relax a bit more. For me that's when I'm more likely to get a BFP too. I think that's what helped his month.

@Mamat90 Those questions suck. I know after my first mmc, before I had my son. I was asked and I was so upset. Well done and I'm sorry you had to go through that. Sorry for your loss.

@vitaminb33 Thank you!

ELMcg · 12/02/2021 08:13

@bez91 seems like we are very much on the same page! I'm not a highly stressed person anyway but I don't like to encourage it in to my life unnecessarily! Hope you are getting on OK today, I'm taking making it to Friday as a win 😂. My husband is delighted for a weekend free of DTD too! I guess that's me in the TWW for sure with no idea how many Dpo I am anyway so waiting 3 weeks to test if AF doesn't arrive seems like a good idea!

Obviously these aren't pregnancy symptoms as wrong time in my cycle but has anyone been really hot at night and had bloating mid cycle after MC. I am wondering if my hormones as still all over the place? Last night my room was 13.5 degrees and I was sweltering 😂

Loll35 · 12/02/2021 08:33

Hi @ELMcg my hormones are definitely a bit crazy at the moment (its been 2 months since my mmc) iv had days when I feel very bloated, hot and just not feeling myself. Yesterday was the first day in about 2 weeks where I felt good, had lots of energy and wasn't bloated and I got my peak so I definitely feel like its hormone related for me!

ELMcg · 12/02/2021 08:39

@Loll35 that's good to know, I'm at a really similar stage to you as I found out about my MMC on 12th of December and had surgical management on the 18th so I'm 2 months on too. That's exactly what I am getting, just generally not feeling myself. Glad it is mid cycle to be honest as very similar to how I felt early pregnancy so could so easily be mistaken!

bez91 · 12/02/2021 09:51

@ELMcg hahaha I am, I just admit I'm a bit of a stress head but I just can't be doing with squinting at a line. I'm very black or white and want a straight answer 😂 sounds a relief it's over for you both, our FW is just starting so no rest for my DH. I'm WFH today and he's off this morning and DD in nursery so actually get a daytime bonk in for once 🥳

Yes I've had the being boiling hot at night a few times! I didn't even think it could be post MC related tbf but the first time it happened it was horrendous, it coincided with a positive covid case at DHs work so prompted me to go and get a test 😂

Hey everyone do you mind if I join? I’m on cycle 3 after surgery for a MMC in October. My cycles are really long and currently waiting for AF which feels like it’s been coming in forever. I’m thinking I should just do a pregnancy test to know for sure but pretty certain it’ll be negative and I’ll just feel like an idiot for testing in the first place. Not sure why I feel that way!

PrettyPinkPansies · 12/02/2021 09:58

Marking my place. I might be a bit in and out as trying to not get obsessive this month x

Florence15 · 13/02/2021 08:28

Hope it’s ok I follow this new one. Currently on CD3!! Long month ahead I feel 🤷‍♀️

ELMcg · 13/02/2021 09:18

@pixienewbie so sorry for your loss and hope you are hanging in there with your long cycles! So frustrating isn't it the changes that happen after MC? I've only had one AF after my surgical management in mid December so waiting so see what my cycle length is if I don't fall pregnant this month.

Have you had any symptoms that make you feel like taking a test?

NatJ24 · 13/02/2021 09:55

@pixienewbie sorry for your loss 💖 its such a hard thing to go through.
Cycles after MC are definitely confusing to say the least.

Happy Saturday everyone. 3/4dpo here, time ticking along slowly xx

RichmondLady1981 · 13/02/2021 12:44

Wow! Been away for a week or so and returned to so many exciting posts!!!

Huge congratulations to so many pregnancies! Praying that you all have a healthy 9 months ahead! 💕

Also marking my spot 😀

Strawberry08 · 13/02/2021 18:35

Hi ladies!
As you may have seen from prior post, I got my BFP this month. So I went to see the consultant on Thursday and he prescribed me with cyclogest, which is progesterone pessaries. After doing it Thursday, I had brown spotting last night and today, not heavy and only when I wipe and pain down low but not normal period cramps, seems lower and tender. My tests are still really solid positive, more so than a few days ago.
I read online the vaginal pessaries (sorry 😂) can irritate the cervix, cause pain and bleeding for quite a few ladies but because of miscarriage history I’m obviously flapping this is the start of my next miscarriage. Had anybody heard or got experiences of this? Thank you!

Mysleepingangel · 13/02/2021 19:00

Hi

Just marking my place.. Will start TTC soon x

Congratulations to everyone one their BFPs

Mamat90 · 13/02/2021 20:51

@Strawberry08

Hello love, can't be of any help as I've not heard of this but I can just marine how stressed and panicked you must feel! I've got everything crossed for you that everything is okay for you and the spotting is just down to an irritated cervix! Lots of people have spotting in early pregnancy and all is fine (obviously when you have been through a loss like us you automatically jump to worst case scenario) but that isn't always the case!

Take it easy lovely and I hope and pray everything works out for you! Keep us updated!

Lollipop25 · 13/02/2021 21:08

Hi ladies, hope it’s ok to join this thread. I’m 37 . Mmc Xmas day 2009, DD nov ‘10, DS aug ‘12 ( feel extremely grateful for both of them) Had my 2nd miscarriage Thursday gone, 11th feb at 9 weeks. Didn’t need any medical intervention thankfully. Had EPU scans, all clear so just waiting now to for bleeding to stop and to get a negative result ( feels very odd hoping for a negative) so we can start ttc again. No one other than my husband knows I was pregnant again and miscarried so this thread makes me feel less alone in it. Congrats to all the ladies with their BFP’s. It’s so exciting. And good luck to all ttc😊

Strawberry08 · 13/02/2021 21:20

Ah thank you @Mamat90, that’s so kind. I am fairly confident it’s not a miscarriage (im pretty experienced at those 🤣) so hopefully it will stop in a day or two and it will make things slightly easier.
I will let you all know of course how I get on xx

susiebluebell · 14/02/2021 10:37

Just marking my place to dip in and out. @HappyVibes @RichmondLady1981 how are you both?

BIG congratulations to those with recent BFPs xxxx

HappyVibes · 14/02/2021 10:52

Hi @susiebluebell I’m good thank you. Got past our little milestone thankfully, and measuring 9wk3day 💫 How are you lovely? Xxxxxx

RichmondLady1981 · 14/02/2021 14:00

Hi @susiebluebell and @HappyVibes. Lovely to hear your updates 💕

I’m currently in the stimulation phase of IVF. Not as bad as I thought. I will keep you posted on how it goes. Feels good to be proactive about it. Should have egg collection in around 10 days. My 21 month old son is keeping me busy over half term! Take care lovely ladies x

RichmondLady1981 · 14/02/2021 14:02

@Strawberry08 I’m currently in an IVF forum and yes! This seems to be very common. A lady just posted the exact same thing about 5 minutes ago.

Try not to worry 💕

Strawberry08 · 14/02/2021 14:06

@RichmondLady1981 ah wonderful, thank you for letting me know.
I have started using them the other route (back route 😂) and the bleeding and pain has stopped. I’m sure others on the ivf forum have already suggested that but if not, worth a mention.

Thank you again! X
