Ahh see mines at my gp because he was the one who referred me for my scan, but now you've said you didn't get an appointment after your first scan I'm worrying because this is my first😂 I hope yours is positive and gets some next steps planned out for you!

So I've finished my work, run a bath & just in time as a wee little package from @Catherinettc arrives no brilliant baby inducing water from her area or someone to hoover my ceiling though but gorgeous straight to the hips nibbles to enjoy in the bath which is powered by @BlondePotter in some gorgeous bath salts. You bloody girls got me crying all over again 😭😭 I can't wait for your bumps to arrive they are sooooo lucky.

Pre bath as meaty AF might be leaving the building tomorrow as we go to (TMI) light flow today for day 4 I'm defloofing! So we will be be prepared for valentines in the Minster household! Come on valentines!

@paintfairy ha I just had a closer look at my ccg policy and it won't even do assisted IUI. Although unassisted we're entitled to 12 rounds?? So random. Also no mention of hycosy so I hope that's still on the cards!

Don't worry @Vil10 I didnt get an appointment after my first scan because they already knew I needed a 2nd one they told me during the scan that my bladder wasn't full enough to get a clear enough view so that will be why I didn't get a call to go see my GP. Tho it was my GP that sent me for the scan too but it's the hospital that want to see me for an appointment so maybe that will reasurre you a bit more that rhe GP visit is hopefully just routine .....tho now I'm thinking maybe mine isn't routine is its not the GP 🙈. We both have a TWW of a different kind now 😂

@Minster2012 whole time ttc I had to initiate pretty much every bloody time now oh has become a raging horny walking hormone so defloofing happened here this afternoon as last night the boner constantly poking me in the back was hard to ignore and ruined my sleep 🤣

@Vil10 try not to worry, I was told they like to go through results face to face, had a kidney scan done for diabetes back in September and was called in. I was a wreck thinking something was seriously wrong but nope just like to go through any test results face to face.

@Kirky658 our mutt is too big for the sink but completely destroyed the bathroom last week after he needed a good scrub because he rolled in something stinky 🤬 thankfully I put him in the back bathroom which was last tiled some time in the 80s 😂

@Florence13 I'm an English teacher so all sorts really! The one I'm reading is more of an easy read, Dawn French's Because of You. It's very different to her other books as she's usually very funny, but just as good. I've been getting through the classics I avoided at school too and enjoying them haha, Jane Eyre and Pride and Prejudice sort of stuff. Also really love Rebecca 😍 one of my fave though is hands down Pachinko by Min Jin Lee, I'm really into Japanese fiction recently.
Any recommendations from stuff you've read?

@Vil10 sounds probably standard then. The last scan i had (2019) they never contacted me. I only only assumed it was ok. But then we know how useless my gp is. 🙄
@Kirky658 @Billythecat I don't have pain. Or with sex. Just spotting. So it wouldn't be worth it as standard. But obviously if it'll affect ttc then that's different. I'll ask when I go. How much are we talking (roughly) privately?
@Juno231 I've just checked mine as she could have been making it up, for all I know. It says up to 3 rounds (doesn't specify if assisted). And 1 IVF.

Getting more chilled, DH shouted on me bc I said outloud that this'll never happen, and he got quite crossed, and that my periods are getting more regular and more than spotting for a few hours, and we still have more than half a year for our deadline....

We thought about having a photographer friend of ours do a lovely pic with us and the dog but worried it would be ott. Thoughts?

@paintfairy yeah I imagine they'd want to rule other stuff out first before going down that route. I don't know about the private costs as I was lucky enough to go on the NHS both times after much ado. I had spotting after sex and it turned out to be a cervical erosion, they burned off some cells and that was fine. Ive been through the gynae books that's for sure lol

So girls I'm on day 7 of not washing my hair and feeling very proud 🤣 although it will need to go in a bun if I don't wash it tomorrow. Still got it half up half down somehow and it doesn't look awful 😂🙈 OH isn't happy tho as he can't cuddle in behind me because my hair is greasy so I have a dilemma 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Kirky658 they did say I had an erosion when I went to gynaecology. No one else has commented though after peering up there, even the nurse who looked not long before that. She said they could burn it off (this was less than 2 weeks before my wedding) but as it wasn't bothering me (no bleeding after sex) then it could be left. I wonder if that's why I bleed when I have a smear? But she reckoned it wasn't linked to my spotting. Google does seem to indicate that it can though? So I did always wonder if it was that. But odd months I bleed quite heavy in my lp, and that seems excessive for just cervix bleeding? So I'm none the wiser.

@Kirky658 that's sounds really cute, it's not ott if a friend is doing it, if you start hiring multiple photographers, groomers, hair and make up then that might stray into ott territory 😂 I had toyed with the idea of just a photo of the three of us, dd with a t-shirt saying promoted to big sister September 2021 or something like that. No announcement, just make it my cover photo or something. Oh is not big into social media at all and he would hate a big deal. I'm sure he'd rather just tell people face to face 😂

@lucyrp day 7?! How? I'm a daily hair washer and if I don't it's just so lank and eugh! Are you one of the lucky ones with lovely thick hair?

@Gem176 normally I have to wash it by day 3 or 4. I used to do every day then styling and drying got too much so trained it to every few but somehow left it a week. It's curled this week so I find it doesn't look as greasy when its curled. It defo feels gross tho 🤢 my friend is on day 11 and isn't planning to wash hers until Saturday. Was trying to beat her but I can't take it any longer 🤣

@paintfairy yep it's a weird one, my erosion led to me bleeding after sex every time at least for 4 days like a period! It's very odd. I was told after my first endo surgery it would need looking at again, it never did, and touch wood it must have sorted itself out!

@gem176 haha I just fancy the idea of having a really nice photo we can have framed. The friend in question was actually our wedding photographer, they're husband and wife and we've ended up being such amazing friends x
