@paintfairy @notyetamumbuttrying hence here why endo is sooooo difficult to diagnose. A woman can be in horrendous pain, and have only the smallest amounts. Or very little pain and loads. Or somewhere in between! The only definitive way to diagnose is via a lap. But I'd always go prepared to appts as they do like to brush it under the carpet! It can affect ttc depending on where it is as if there's what they call adhesions it can distort the anatomy and yous probably only see those in a laparoscopy or an MRI. All my MRI showed was a 'simple cyst'. Come surgery 18 months later I had a 3cm cyst on my right ovary, endo all over my pelvis and a huge 'nodule' (basically a big clump) of endo on my uterosacral ligament that holds your uterus in place.so that was fun!

@Haiyaa I'm going to see what my cycle does this time and if it's a weird one I'll try something else! Yeah if I'm using opks I always use them for a few days after just to check it's going down! Just done an opk and it's high but not peak, so maybe I won't be ovulation until Thursday or Friday?? Christ, this is late!!

@clolo I thought that but I had bloods in June and everything was fine! Yeah the woman who did the scan said from what she could see everything was normal so I'm holding onto that!!x

@larrythelizard I find premoms lh prediction crap. Your better off amended as you can pick the colour of the line how you see it.
However I'm also due to ovulate tomorrow and my lh strips seem to be getting fainter if anything. I'm worried I ovulated early and missed it as was late using the strips this month, only starting them 3 days ago

Natural cycles is predicting Friday - I don't think it's today as I seem to get a bit bloaty and crampy and normal today

@Vil10 what was the scan looking for?
As said above- if urgent you'd have been called in like tomorrow. But I would be worrying too. Once when they phoned me to book a phone conversation with a dr following something they found on blood results (but wouldn't say what) i actually called back. Said i was now anxious and couldn't wait 2 weeks (which is what they'd booked me for). I managed to get them to bring it forwards to a few days after I rang.

@notyetamumbuttrying I suppose my concern is if its somewhere fertility related and is affecting it? Hence why we can't ttc? I suppose if it's blocking tubes then they'll find that. But i dunno? I will ask when I go!

@Haiyaa so I weren't planning on tracking this month so don't have easy@home opks, only rubbish ones but just got a high, so presuming my peak will be later or tomorrow, we DTD last night and Friday Saturday Sunday, so if we go again tonight and tomorrow I should be covered, can't believe how late ovulation is though!!

@Kirky658 that's not exactly reassuring? I can't work out why they are so unwilling to look into it? Obviously it's pointless doing IUI and a waste of money if there's a problem.

@paintfairy nothing in particular, from my symptoms dr thought it might be cysts, so had a scan and internal on Monday but the woman who did the scan said everything seemed normal, just hoping she was right🤞🏼 Thursday isn't too far away so I think I'll cope!

@paintfairy sorry hun, didn't want to be a debbie downer it is just a nightmare to diagnose. They can only definitely diagnose via a laparoscopy surgery so this costs a lot so they tend to try and rule everything else out first before they go down the surgery route. I don't have any IUI knowledge unfortunately but I think it's definitely worth getting their take on if it's something worth checking out before you go ahead. Xx

@paintfairy if you're thag keen on getting a lap you can pay privately to get it done. I know a friend who did that and it was the best thing she ever did. She would have been waiting years otherwise or may have never known!

@Minster2012 my clinic said to wait 11 days, til the 15th, am def not going to do that as I have a major day at work on Monday with a big review, so I’m testing on Sunday if not before I don’t currently have any tests which is basically the only reason I haven’t tested ahaha! But amazon is delivering some clear blue and FRERs tomorrow, so hence the temptation to POAS on Friday morning. If I did get a BFP it would make the wait til OTD much easier I think (?!) maybe not, maybe I’d just start worrying it would go away again. I swear this whole process has turned me into a maniac!

Hopping onto the new bus. Finally got into work this morn and thawed out. Tho no pupils turned up so I was allowed to do paperwork and leave early after lunch. Now I'm left with 2hours to myself before I get DS and now I'm in that mum panic mode of no idea what to do with all the unexpected free time, I should catch up with the housework that's long overdue, there are diy jobs needing doing, I'm doing a college course with an assignment deadline for Monday that I've not started......but 'me' time is also sounding bliss, tho may be ruined by the guilt that I should be doing all of the above. Wine is the answer right? 🤷‍♀️

I can't remember who said on the last thread about drinking when 12dpo but just wanted to reassure you that I had a very heavy night of tequila shots the night before I got my BFP with DS and hes turned out fine. 😂 The placenta hadn't formed that early on anyways so the alcohol won't pass to them so enjoy yourself as it might be your last drink for 9months (hopefully! 🤞)

@vil10 it could be good news as it means they could have spotted an easy fix 🤞 I know its worrying but as others have said if it was something really bad they'd have called you in ASAP not 2 weeks. Really hoping they've actually found something that can be fixed with a few pills and you get a bfp really quickly 😊

It must be feeling like a torturous wait @gensola, but don't worry we'll be here to make the time fly past sooner and hold your hand when the time comes to do it.

@larrythelizard keep testing over the next few days and you'll hopefully get your peak. Just remember EWCM can come different days before ov for diff people. For some it's a few days before, others day of ov and for me it can come as early as 6 days before. And temp can't tell you you're about to ovulate it can only tell you after you've ovulated. Keep with the sticks and keep DTD to get the swimmers ready to pounce on that egg!

@Minster2012 love the bus name! Still here, just gearing up for FW- getting early nights in preparation for DTD. Going to go all out this month as more is better than less! When my natural cycles gets to pink it’s time to get on with it!

@paintfairy I actually paid for both of my laps privately which was very worth it(although I had really severe pain which necessitated it) as the waiting lists were long. Depends where you are though as to whether you would have to wait for investigations. I did have to be pushy everything though!

I think because of my weirdly long pregnacare cycle last month it has thrown off all the OV predictions. Will be lots of tracking, POAS and DTD as much as possible must be dedicated to bother buying new underwear haha. I feel so tired atm - keep having really weird dreams. Doesn’t help that I have anxiety anyway so my brain has a field day with that!

So we just walked the dog during lunch hour. Very muddy so needed a bath. Can't bend down properly so said oh we will do him in the kitchen sink.... Very bad idea. He waited till he had been washed then shook everywhere then leaped from the sink down to the kitchen floor, shook again then we had to chase him round the lounge to dry him! Nightmare.

Ooh @Vil10 my docs have just phoned to say I've got a meeting in 2weeks too, they didn't do that after my first scan but maybe thats because they wanted to scan again. Tho my appointment isn't at my GPs its at the gyn dept at the hospital so dunno if maybe its maybe to discuss next steps 🤷‍♀️
