I've had a pretty shite vday tbh. I'm a foul mood and dh is too which isn't helping. We got each other some choc. No flowers for me, despite constantly saying I wish I could get flowers. Humph. He's a good hubby but romance is dead 😔 he did make me a lovely card online though with lots of photos of our nice memories, so I suppose that's cute. Just feeling really emotional today so we're going to have a burger from our fave place, watch movies and have our yummy choc.

@lucyrp did you get your last minute valentine's? My husband went out this morning and got me roses from the shop 😆 but he had bought me chocolates and a card last week so I had those waiting as soon as I woke up.

I'm not too fussed about Valentine's really. I prefer celebrating anniversaries. Here's the non romantic card I bought my husband for valentines...

@2020mission I did indeed. We both made a dash separately into our local Tesco's as they have a security guard employed to tell us 2 people from the same household aren't allowed in together so we had to go in a few minutes apart otherwise we get shouted at 🙃 I got some quite nice roses 🥰

@Franklydear I think a lot of people are wondering if it's just a wind up thread as it seems very odd for them to refuse to ever scan her again for just explaining the situation ..

@lucyrp yeah my husband and me always have to queue separately and go around the supermarket with half the shopping list each because they only want single shoppers. It does work out well when you want to buy something for each other haha! Glad you got your flowers.

Mine seems to always be 12 days no matter when I ovulate, I've been taking vitamin B the past two cycles to see if I can extend it. Though I've read 12 days is generally ok!

@2020mission we've had no problem until our last shopping trip on like Friday evening I think it was and we went in together and she asked if we were from the same household and I was like umm yeah thinking it was the right answer ... nope OH got kicked out 🥲 I'm an anxious shopper and he comes with me and holds the basket or trolley and I throw Everutning in. I forgot half of What I needed because he didn't come in🤣

Its a bit emotional I'm happy for us but feel for those of you still trying and I don't want to make anyone sad. I'm also terrified that we'll have another CP although I didn't get any positive till 18dpo last time so I have hope.

Aww yeah that happened to us the first time but I just quickly came out with "yes same household but I'm shopping separately for someone else" so they let us in 😅 and we just went around separately and paid separately at checkouts too. We now have to split the list to make sure all my items are on low shelves since I would usually rely on my husband to reach anything high... I also struggle with the basket getting heavy too so I get mostly the light items.

@DOB78 ohh great news, how long have you been trying? Some of us won't be able to help feeling a little jealous but don't feel you can't share as we are always happy for you! Hopefully your next test had a clearer line 🤞 🎉

@lucyrp @2020mission I go shopping with OH as well as he does all the carrying and drives us there and back 🙊. We go in separately, split the list but checkout seems to be fine to do as a couple.

@Gem176 haha def vase. 1 litre of cold water, trim the bottom inch off the flower stems and add the flower food to the water if it came with a sachet. Make sure there are no leaves below the water line though or it'll make the water manky and that kills the flowers off quickly. For reference I had all my birthday flowers for 2 weeks!

@2020mission there hasn't been anyone there before so I didn't know what the right answer was and she was bluffing out the current guidelines and I said sorry I don't listen, watch or read the news. Fed up of that shit and walked in 😂

@2020mission this is our 3rd cycle so I know we're super lucky to get pregnant twice so soon.
I'm not testing again till Wednesday which would be 14dpo and AF day I hope its a stronger line, I'm terrified🥺

@blackcurrantqueen to be honest I never thought much about it until recently, just looked at my app though and every month has been 11 days LP apart from June was 12, and July/august I tooo northisterone to delay my period so they don't matter, then January was 10 which I know isn't good! I'm at the doctors on Thursday to discuss scan results so I'm going to mention it to him then! Yeah they say anything from 11 days is fine, when I speak to the dr I might ask if he can suggest anything that'll lengthen it, I'd be more at ease if it was even just 1/2 days longer x

@Minster2012 omg I'd break OHs back if we tried that. On the bright side OH weighed himself this week for the first time in forever and he's gained nearly a stone in the last year! Made me feel better lol.

Ha I've taken my crazy to a new level I think. Inspired by minster! I used to always check my imaginary baby's due date but I've upped that one level by checking what their birthstone would be and browsing corresponding eternity bands to add to my rings 🤣

So we had some pretty amazing sex earlier followed by a nap! Then some gaming on the switch followed by a glass of schloer for me, and the dog throwing up on the carpet. We are going to get changed in a bit after having had a pj day today. Make up or no make up, DH says I look gorgeous anyway (liar) but I feel I should make the effort, thoughts ladies? X

@Kirky658 sounds like my day 😂😂 I got dressed up nicely for the day in just a pinafore and tights etc we've been napping on the sofa then we played on the switch for a bit and now we're cooking our steak. I was going to get dressed but oh told me to put my comfies on. Tbh I'm glad as my bump is making an appearance now and making everything pretty uncomfortable 🙈🙈 I'm defo not putting make up on either lol I normally get lashes done so without them a full face seems pointless 🤣
