It's half term! I'm so happy I could cry, his term has been a killer in so many different ways than usual- fellow teachers, you will understand I'm sure! Parents are relieved I'm sure too.

Going to chillax, sleep, lots of walks and board games and clearing out the rest of the house ☺️

Started taking them for the first time this cycle, and I'm ovulating tomorrow on CD23, I usually ovulate around CD18/19, so I'm just hoping that if af arrives it'll be 11+ days after I ovulate and I don't have a short luteal phase!

@Minster2012 kegels are your pelvic floor exercises, essential for all of us unless you want to start pissing yourself when you sneeze 😂😂 my Aunty told me the horrors of a weak pelvic floor when I was about 17 so have been doing them religiously since!

@Missgoldilocks my 12 week scan is just before I hit 13 weeks.... I'm now desperately hoping they will be able to tell then too! I'm considering a nipt just to find out early 🙈😂 I'm so impatient!

Half term for DH but not for me as I work in HE now and we don’t get half terms

Woop I got through after 11 calls! Apparently there's an ultrasound scheduled in for me as well? Anyway they only do Fridays and can't do next Friday cause the doc won't be in so I've been scheduled in for the 26th.... which puts me at CD14/15? And you can't DTD for 48 hours after so it sounds like Feb is write off for me as I usually ovulate between CD14-16.

They reminded me to take my antibiotics and I said well how do I get them? "er... your doc should've prescribed them for you". So they put me through to gynae except that's closed on Fridays so switchboard picked up and put me through to the clinic manager who then gave me the number to my doctor's secretary at a different hospital altogether... Can't be bothered to do any more phone calls today so I'll just email for now lol.

@Vil10 since having the implant out in sept I seem to ovulate on day 19/20 of a 27 day cycle. Weird how much it's changed since I was last TTCing, wish I knew what had changed (it's not even been THAT long!)

Well ladies I'm out 😟 I had started to get my hopes up today at 10dpo with lots of creamy cm but got home from work and wiped to find pink/brown. And enough that it's more than spotting so I'm sure she'll be in full flow by this evening.

I feel sad. Which I know is silly because its the 1st cycle we're trying again but it's how I feel. I feel frustrated and sad and fed up and, honestly I feel a bit resentful towards this whole situation, that I'm back ttc. I cannot belive I'm back here again. Sorry to be a downer. It's shit. And my LP was only 10days which is less than ideal too. Argh I can't think about my LP now. I'm guna go wallow & maybe have a little cry. I hate ttc - why is it so hard to have a baby 😭

@Sausage1990 I didn't have it as bad as you as I've only had chemicals but I completely understand how you're feeling - I'm really fed up with it all too. I'm not going to lie I even struggle here sometimes seeing the pregnant ladies talk about how many weeks they are etc on my bad days 🤦‍♀️ but of course I'm still happy for them! This part of the month is the worst but you'll get there again

@Sausage1990 I'm sorry to hear this. I had a MC before having DS and it really fucked with my brain and body for quite some time, I couldn't work out how I could get pregnant so 'easily (2nd cycle), only to have a MC and then it took a year to get pregnant again.

Be kind to yourself, it's OK to be upset and angry.

@Juno231 glad you got through in the end! Sounds a right palava. Scan sounds sensible though, I was surprised they weren't doing one.

I've used both preseed and conceive plus, whoever was talking about that. Very similar really? I like them though.

@Gem176 congratulations! Ohh hmm hopefully they will! The guy said the baby looked advanced so he could tell, tbh this early scan I had looks like the 20nweek scan I was super shocked because with my sons 12 week scan he looked way less advanced but maybe it was earlier than this one!

@paintfairy I assume you'll need them for your hycosy as well - it's because the dye can cause infections/PID apparently
