Really fed up of AF showing up month after month now 🤦🏼‍♀️ we've been taking the see what happens but dtd lots approach. But now going into month 7 so We've decided to use the clear blue opk's to see if it gives us a better chance. 🤷🏼‍♀️
Now to just wait for AF to disappear 😀

Any one else ttc #1? 😀

Well girls I had my first in-person “gut punch” feeling - was at lunch with my work team, so 6 of us, and we’re all really close and out of the blood one of the other women told us she’s 7 weeks pregnant. Holy moly, it was so so tough to try and keep a steady face and get through all the excited chat.

It was so out of the blue, and obv I’ve seen loads of fb announcements but that was my first in person one and I hadn’t really considered just how brutal it would be!

I had the same yesterday. It's horrible isn't it. Another one confirmed at work today. So since March it's about 14/15 folk all work, family or friends pregnant. Trying not to cry in work. Dh doesn't get the sadness. He isn't around it. There's nothing I can do and being hopeful isn't working. It's shit.

@Loops01 that’s so tough, so many people. It really is awful in person, isn’t it? It’s definitely hard to feel positive after something like that. I think as well as sadness I’m starting to really feel desperation too. Constantly wishing time away so each chance will hurry up!

Thanks all! Feeling better today, back to hopeless optimism haha.

Had a weird dtd last night, all fine but afterwards DH was like “that felt really weird, my head wasn’t in it at all” - welcome to ttc finally, husband 😂😂

How are we all doing today?

I’m ok thanks, feel like next week will be either really positive or either a hard week. Got a phone appointment with gp on Monday to go through my results then AF is due next week so hoping for at least one good result 🤞

@Amy259 thank you, it’s felt ages since I had them, If anything is slightly off will push for more tests/investigations.

Yes, end of next week. I did ovulate slightly earlier so could arrive a bit earlier.

Random question - when should CM dry up after ovulation? 😂😂

Ehhh I’m not really a cm expert, but trying these last few cycles to track it better. I don’t think mine really fully dries up, but it definitely goes whiter/creamier and less of it, maybe like 1/2 DPO? Quite quickly for me! But I think everyone can be really different… people talk about having loads of cm before a bfp but that happens to me some cycles and it’s always been bfn!

@AZ1992X I've always noticed a little bit of creamy in luteal phase. After ov it goes to like less clear and sticky to then creamy

Thanks both! , think it’s probably standard then. When I did have my bfp I had cm but it was excessive and not got that 😂 - still early yet I guess.

@AZ1992X excessive may be a sign. I've never had excessive. 6dpo today and I'm just the usual as normal

@AZ1992X yeah it seems loads of people say there’s loads of cm when they have a bfp cycle. I can’t remember noticing it with my chemical but I always look for it now 😂

So you guys must be both around the same DPO? @Loops01

Morning @Amy259 - Had a really nice weekend & it’s kept me busy which has been a nice distraction. Kinda worrying about my gp appointment.

I don’t know my exact date but I know it’s roughly 7/8DPO 😂. Don’t feel anything yet and going try hold off testing if I can or at least for few more days.

How are you doing? Is your fw all over now?

I’m doing okay, I’ve been SO chilled this fw which is not like me 😂 my temps are doing that slow rise thing again, which has me ever so slightly anxious this morning because I didn’t opk so was hoping to get a big shift to confirm ov but it’s creeping up slowly.

Going by my body fw is over, and it’s CD19 today and I never ov that late. Cervix is dropping lower, boobs a little tender (standard for me after ov) so will see what cm is like today but I’m guessing 3dpo! Really enjoying not opking.

So results are in - majority where fine, estrogen and progesterone where lower than normal however he said it may be due to the point in the cycle I had them so redoing at cd21 next cycle and hoping they come back ok.
Was really long call going through history and health etc - only downside if they come back ok it will need be 12 months since I was pregnant before they refer me as I’ve got pregnant in that time.

@Amy259 ah glad you felt much better & chilled about the whole thing ❤️

I enjoyed not testing much too - might carry that ok.

@AZ1992X I'm really sorry and angry to hear that. I hope they say that in the sense of you will hopefully have a good chance of getting pregnant again. Your results don't sound too bad after all that! Are they doing anything other than another blood test?

I'm 8dpo today. Nothing as usual. 3 days til AF which I'm sure will show in the afternoon at work as usual haha.

@AZ1992X glad you're enjoying the no opks! Hopefully something good this cycle for you

@AZ1992X delighted it was a long call - it sounds like he seemed proactive in trying to talk through potential reasons? Shitty that if all is okay on day 21 bloods that you have to wait a whole year, although hopefully you won’t need it as you’ll fall pregnant again in that time.

@Loops01 are you getting your usual pre-af signs? Soy again next cycle?

My cm has gone creamy now so I’m taking it as my fw is definitely over even though temp hasn’t rocketed yet - DH was gearing up to go again tonight but I think he’s off the hook! I’m not sure what he’s got to complain about though, we’ve found a fool proof (or performance anxiety proof) way of successfully dtd as often as we like, and let’s just say hes not the one putting in much effort 😂

@Amy259 yes it was, we went through everything… From the pill, how long been trying, how often, vitamins, lifestyle, loads of health questions about me & even partner. Talked about miscarriage and that it’s one in four and that’s just those they know of. Then talked through the blood test results and talked about what would happen if I didn’t conceive. He didn’t seem worried about anything else so unless something comes up on the tests no more tests would be done at this stage.

Felt so much better - here’s hoping my next set of bloods are ok and for some good need to come 🤞
