Really fed up of AF showing up month after month now 🤦🏼‍♀️ we've been taking the see what happens but dtd lots approach. But now going into month 7 so We've decided to use the clear blue opk's to see if it gives us a better chance. 🤷🏼‍♀️
Now to just wait for AF to disappear 😀

I never tracked either but I remember my periods being roughly 28 days before the pill. I was pretty upset coming off and having longer periods but never had one shorter than 28 days so I'm sorry I can't help you there. It is good you have some sort of rhythm going though. I always think it depends on your body more than certain numbers. It has taken me just less than a year to get my cycle to 28 ish days with more routine ovulation. Tough but everyone is different

I'm going to start doing the opk's from tomorrow.
Last month I was spotted for 4 days before AF got me. Got my hopes up that it was implantation bleeding, took a frer and there was a faint Line & then AF got heavier, must have been a dodgy one :/ but I have told myself under no circumstances am I testing before 12dpo 😂
Let's see if I can do it 😂

CD17 and negative OPK's still! 🤯

I am only CD6 at the moment so a wee while to go. I have never had a false positive nor a 'chemical' which I am not even sure what it is atm. Still getting my head around the abbreviations. Maybe a missed @glow92? Keep the action going as you never know! Fingers crossed the next few days.

Because of last months short cycle one of my apps wanted me to test from day 6.. so I don't think I've missed it. That's why I'm so annoyed because we've dtd loads 😂 feels like a waste!

@Loops01 ho hun is clear blue opks the app or the stick. How does it work please

@Lizbb ive seen the one with the app didn't know how good they were, Ive just got the stick ones, it's my first month using them so It's all still new ☺️

Hi, I’m in a similar situation- came off pill almost 7 months ago and been ttc. Ive just brought my first opk from Clearblue and will be starting it in around 2 days! How’s everyone finding it?

@AZ1992X I started mine today & didn't realise the result takes 3 minutes 🤦🏼‍♀️😂
I thought it was a dodgy one & didn't work so bare that in mind 🙈
I've just been following an app I know it's not 100%, I'm so interested to see how different it is compared to when my app says.

@rosiej95 potentially, I just don't feel like it will as I only had 25day cycle last month so i can't see it stretching out enough for a late ov plus a luteal phase long enough.

Sounds like you've maybe not ovulated this month? Have you spoken to doc about shorter cycles? I spoke to mine when they were longer and they did a generic blood test which didn't show anything but they suddenly got more 'normal'. Someone posted on one of these asking about bmi as apparently if you are too thin or exercise a lot then it'll make your cycles shorter and affects ovulation.

@Lizbb I didn't have the app one, just the smileys which I found were easier to read than just the cheap ones with lines and it made me find out the high and peak days more than just it saying I was ovulating. My friend uses the app. She finds it useful!

@rosiej95 Thanks for the heads up! , I’m the same I’ve been using an app called Flo to try and track my ovulation so will be nice to see if they are similar or not! Good luck ☺️

@Loops01 thanks maybe I will try these. I bet they are expensive. I'm sure they are efficient as you have to directly wee on them.

@Loops01 if it happens for another month I'm going to see if they'll see me yes... my bmi is bang in the middle of 'normal'.

@Lizbb they are more expensive. I get them from amazon but Costco are good for the bigger packs too. I used the pee on line ones to begin with but trying to tell if the positive line was stronger than the control was difficult for me as I initially thought a faint line meant positive when it didn't! So first couple of months were off but it does help with general LP.
Fingers crossed glow it's just an odd month and next month is the lucky one!!

So got a flashy smiley face today I'm on cycle day 9. AF only disappeared cycle day 6 with spotting on cycle day 7 is it normal to get "high fertility" this early? 🤔

@rosiej95 Hi Rosie, I’ve just had my flashy smiley face on day 11, wasn’t expecting it this early as my cycle is normally 30/31 days!

I'd do anything for a flashing smiley right now CD21 and absolutely nothing still! 😩.

I think I read it’s likely to be between 12-48 hours after your first peak test.

Glad things are going well for yous. Any update @glow92? Has your cycle ended? I'm CD13 and still no sign of a smiley so feeling a bit down but I guess there's still days to go. If not then month still. Hopefully not years haha
