Really fed up of AF showing up month after month now 🤦🏼‍♀️ we've been taking the see what happens but dtd lots approach. But now going into month 7 so We've decided to use the clear blue opk's to see if it gives us a better chance. 🤷🏼‍♀️
Now to just wait for AF to disappear 😀

Any one else ttc #1? 😀

@Loops01 mental, isn’t it? No they don’t mean the 2 year trying thing - this is just for gynaecology, so the scan would take me to the 2 year mark anyway but then I’d need to wait until the fertility referral came through.

I’ve already booked a private scan at a clinic near me for a couple of weeks time, and my acupuncturist offers day 2 bloods so I’m going to do them with her. I think I’ll phone my GP back too and ask if there’s a way to be put on the fertility referral list without going through gynae first, given the wait time. All she can do is say no I suppose!

I still have that (possibly crazy..) underlying feeling we’ll fall naturally, so I weirdly don’t feel that stressed about it, but I laughed out loud at how long it is! It’s a joke.

Like you say tho 🤞🏻 you get a bfp before having to have those tests.

So I think I'm getting worse every month tbh 😂 I seem to be testing earlier & earlier not entirely sure why cause I just end up in a mardy when it's a bfn...
however... got home from work & thought meh why not 🤷🏼‍♀️😂
So here we are again fresh new month convinced I can see a line at 8dpo

Did you dtd every second day like normal last month? I can’t remember if you were using the Premom OPKs again?

Yes used opks again but only managed to dtd 2 days before my peak then day of my peak then day after ovulation. It was too hot to dtd more 😂 🥵
I'll be honest i kinda was feeling really negative this month 😔
I'm still not 100% convinced tho I think I'll see how it goes in the morning before I get exited.

@rosiej95 I think I might stick to every other day this cycle, doing it every day over ov is a lot of pressure!

So... did another test late last night & faint line again then did another this morning & can see a line. I don't know if there bad for indents or anything as I've not used these ones before. But 3 faint lines on different tests using different wee 😬I'm still only 9dpo today but even my boyfriend could see it this morning. (He can usually never see the lines I see so this already fills me with hope 😂🙈)

@Amy259 just trying to catch up on the messages but that seems a long time to wait before even getting referred but hopefully you’ll get your bfp during that time.

@rosiej95 I see it again on that one too! What’s your plan, take a different brand or just keep testing with them each morning?

@AZ1992X it’s crazy isn’t it? I don’t feel too worried about it, I’m certain we’ll move forward somehow - whether privately or with a natural bfp. But it’s scary what’s happened to our healthcare system!

Eeeek definitely a line!! Congratulations! Will you buy a frer to check?

I'm going to test again tomorrow morning & then if there's another line/darker then I'll test on a frer
Tbh... I think I'll believe it more when I'm 10dpo tomorrow 🙈

@Amy259 defo! I thought there would be some backlog but not that long. I won’t be eligible now unless go till next year with no bfp. very annoying unless something has come back on the bloods and if there is may ask if they will do further testing. Still seems a long way till my appointment.

All good here - still expecting a few days till my opks start to rise but continuing the every other day dtd. Hope you’re ok!

@AZ1992X is that because of your miscarriage? That they won’t see you before a year of no pregnancy at all?

I’ll ask again but sure they said would only refer if I was unable to fall pregnant in 12 months so think as I did it starts again from that point.

I actually feel much more relaxed about it all (I think the every other day helps too as it’s not too much stress on me & OH)

Shame they restart the year tho but hopefully it won't be too long waiting for a bfp.

I think ovulation is about here (couple days earlier) my period was shorter this time around (compared to much longer period the time before) so not surprised.

I’m well thank you @AZ1992X, cd11 today so probably just about entering fw, assuming I ov on CD16 again. Still reeeeally considering not using OPKs and just dtd every two days 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m keen to try it and see if it makes me a bit less consumed by it, but my ov can vary by 3-4 days so I’m also not sure if I’m better to play it safe and track…

Today is ovulation for me. Out again probably this cycle as dh has been away the past 3 days and not home til later tonight. We did dtd what would have been 4 days before ovulation however didn't manage to really lie down and it all kinda came out. That thing with the fertilily where cervix too high and finger just not long enough 😂 so that's me out in pretty sure. Tbf we could have done it every day this cycle and it still have been negative, still no hope for any positive. Next fw not until end of Aug/Sept. Just trying to figure out what to do with my time. Work, walk dog, work, try to sleep, work, shit, walk dog...😂 Bored of nothing now.

Soy didn't make it earlier this month but should have my regular 30 day cycle. But the soy made it the strongest I've ever had. Reached 2.77 on reading. Literally off the chart 😂. What a waste eh?! 😂

@Amy259 I've just got another pack of opks but it's just to make sure the next cycle or 2 is regular then I'm doing no opks. Stopping all vits etc once they are finished so I should be finished soy next cycle (maybe a wee bit into the cycle after) but in 3 cycles time I'll be doing nothing but having sex when I can. Really don't see the point any more. Read somewhere that the vitamins don't get you pregnant they just help you be healthy and 'ready'. I've been healthy and ready before it all so don't see why I should waste more money, time and hope!

@Loops01 2.77! That’s mental! I’ve never even been up at 2. That’s so crazy how high your hormones must go! I’m jealous of your super strong surge 😂 That’s so annoying that DH is away just now, hopefully you can dtd tonight and at least give yourself a shot?

Yeah I think I’m inclined to do no OPKs - didn’t Einstein say something about insanity being doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome? 😂 so might as well change it up, just go every 2nd day, no OPKs. I’ve also upgraded my prenatals to the wild nutrition fertility ones and stopped pretty much everything else. Bit worried I’ll be stressed not knowing exactly though, but we’ll see.
