Really fed up of AF showing up month after month now 🤦🏼‍♀️ we've been taking the see what happens but dtd lots approach. But now going into month 7 so We've decided to use the clear blue opk's to see if it gives us a better chance. 🤷🏼‍♀️
Now to just wait for AF to disappear 😀

Fertilily is like moon cup basically but its to stop the good stuff from falling out and it pushes it closer to the cervix. 😂. I will start it on cd3 I think. For a few days. Think I'll just try 100mg to begin with then see what happens. Cycle is all off so anything to help get it back to what it was pre vaccine would be great! Even my apps have no clue what's going on!

Oh good lord, that is dedication! Not heard of that. The things we do!! People get pregnant from one night stands & here we are legs up in the air, putting things up us 😂

Fingers crossed! Mad how the vaccine has done that.

@Amy259 just ignore him. He's maybe going through things and isn't able to deal with things himself. I know my DH literally puts things in a box in his head and keeps it there because he isn't good at dealing with things.

@rosiej95 is it showing you as being peak then? In the dark purple graph?

@J1990 I know it's mental the amount of money businesses make from fertility! Thankfully it wasn't too expensive and reusable. How are you getting on any way?

@Amy259 I'm starting the soy tomorrow on cd3 so will see how cycle goes this month. My app is currently thinking I'm going back to my normal longest cycle of 31 days with predicted ovulation on day 20 so we will see!!

@Loops01 nope & now it's gone down to 0.24 & 0.26 I'm cd14 so guess there's still time for it to go high but I'll be honest

@rosiej95 when do you normally peak? Have you got a screenshot of the screen where you think the line was darker? Still plenty of time like you say! It can jump up pretty quickly

What cd do people start using their opks for premom?

I know it says straight after your period for first month but I normally ovulate later in the cycle as I have a longer cycle. Thoughts on if I should start soon or wait a few days?

@loops01 all good here thanks. Only on cd12 so got a little longer to go before I'm ovulating! How are you feeling? Let us know how you get on with the soy isoflavones. I found I slept really well with them and didn't get any side effects (take them at night)

@rosiej95 I'd say your peak was probably at cd13? My sister never got a dark line on opks and still conceived.

@AZ1992X I don't start using mine until quite late on, cd13 or something, but that's because I don't usually get a positive until cd15 & don't want to waste all the sticks! Maybe start on cd10?!

Do any of you drink alcohol at all? I usually have a little bit but I've been feeling really guilty about it lately so not had any. Trying to be as healthy as possible but then I think heroin addicts have been known to get pregnant! Maybe I just need to relax 😂

@rosiej95 I wouldn't worry about that 0.5s I wouldn't say the line was equal to or darker but difficult to tell. My last cycle I hit 0.6 then went down. That was roughly the same day as you. The tests got lighter and then dark really quick but obviously my cycle is off. You can hit peak quickly so I wouldn't worry. Is your clearblue normally flashies for a number of days? Can I ask - did you get the covid vac?

@AZ1992X that's sounding really great. How amazing would it be if we all got bfps this cycle that stayed. We'd have to call them all similar or make them the fertility superhero group lol

@J1990 ah crap I'm nightshift so didn't know! I'll take the first one just now and hope I don't get drowsy. I haven't really slept much this wk because of work and my cat. Max of 5 hours. I'm prepped got a baby!! Haha. But I guess it means if I am tired with the first then I won't know the difference. Last shift tonight then putting the cat down on Monday so tomo will be a day of cuddles!!

You will probably be fine! It didn't make me sleepy, it just made me sleep well if that makes sense?

Oh god, I'm so sorry to hear that. I've got two cats and couldn't imagine having to do that :( sounds like you've got a lot on your plate

@J1990 it seems like we are all cat ladies haha. Yeah it's been quite sudden and she's only 9 but she's not doing as well. Very upsetting but I know she tries her best and she's happy and has had a great life really. DH and I are both police officers. He has a 5 wk shift pattern of 5 different shifts and I've got a 10 wk shift pattern with 5 different shifts too. He will have a group so he might be days one week and then lates the next whereas I'm mixed with 6 shifts of days, lates and nights or days and nights or days and lates. It's not the best really when ttc. I'm held on quite often and we only really have average of 3 days off together a month. If we got pregnant my shifts would change, my role would change and actually I'd see him more if we had a kid. Crazy isn't it because you'd think it would go the other way!!! I don't really enjoy my work because it is not a good or healthy work life balance but one day it might be...! It is a job and it pays the bills is how I am seeing it just now.

@J1990 I stopped drinking about 3 months ago because it was literally the only thing left to change. Clearly hasn’t had much effect though 😂😂

@rosiej95 that’s annoying, maybe you peaked through the night after that 0.5 one? I would keep testing, just to be sure.

@AZ1992X I normally peak on day 18 so I start around day 13. Just as well, because one month I randomly peaked at 14 and would’ve missed it if I hadn’t started testing the day before.

DH had a big heart to heart and are both feeling so much better about everything now. Here’s to the next cycle being the one!
12dpo today and bfn so 100% ruling this cycle out now. My pre-af symptoms are much stronger this month - cramping and sore lower back already. That’s what my acupuncture lady was aiming for so at least she’s managed that haha.

Just had a really nice day, met my mum & sister for a girls day shopping & lunch - it was much needed and feel in a really good place mentally. Ready for this cycle, let’s hope it’s the one for us all 🤞.

Thanks everyone. I'm now finished work for annual leave so I'm really looking forward to the break. @Amy259 I would say it's 100mg? I'm going to do just 100mg from days 3-6 I think. The first one is taken. It's actually a thought to start testing again. I don't want to start cd10 if I'm not going to ovulate until cd25 odd again! It's a lot of tests! @AZ1992X I am normally cd10 testing but sometimes a few days later when my cycles were normal.

Had about 4 days of flashing & then the static. & I have had the vaccine on Monday, so that crossed my mind too 🤦🏼‍♀️

@rosiej95 just keep testing. You will definitely get highs and peaks soon. Difficult to know if vaccine has or not yet. Like I said my ovulation is about 10 days later. I'm now classed as having irregular cycles but the app predicted that this one will be shorter but we will see. Once it starts to rise and get darker I'd say you're fine. I know i had my vaccine on cd12. Cd13 got the usual rise then cd14 went to almost noting and then the same on days after. I should have had highs around Cd15 of that cycle. Tested up to Cd17 and still nothing which wasn't normal for me. Just keep testing! I know it's difficult when you are used to clearblue as the first month I didn't easy@home I double checked with clearblue but now I'd never use them again!

@Loops01 I asked on a soy thread and apparently it’s the isoflavones content... meaning I need to take 3 to get 120mg, which feels a bit scary! How are you doing - any side effects so far? Yay for annual leave!

@rosiej95 it doesn’t hurt, but I moved my thumb when the needles were in and got the weirdest twinge/nerve firing that I didn’t like, so will be staying very still on wed when I’m back 😂

Hmm mine done differentiate maybe not the best. No idea. My aunt who is going through menopause uses 5000mg daily and her cycles have gone from 172 days to regular 31 days. Cd3 and now cd4 were barely anything. Cd1 and 2 were slightly heavier than normal. Called our fertility clinic since we are not referred and they said the earliest consultation will be the end of Sept but likely we won't be that as their workloads are now increasing from covid. If my cycles continue like this it'd actually this cycle and another 2. Just now we are going to wait. They seemed happy that DH has a SA. I'm sure he'll need to do more but it was the first thing she checked before she told us a date. Anyone not had I suggest contacting Dr to get if it somewhat helps to speed it up a bit as I know it takes longer than bloods or a scan!

@rosiej95 almost, it went to very light bleeding yesterday / almost spotting so think it’s about over 🤞, Just want the next few days to hurry up so can start testing.

If your cycle is irregular, start right after period as ovulation may fall on any cycle day; if your cycle is regular, like ME, I will follow the cycle chart and start from CD 15. It won't hurt to test one whole cycle at the beginning. Some may be surprised to find that they have more than 1 surge. LOL

I tested the whole cycle last one and felt like it was such a waste of tests and money but yeah could be good to know if you don't have any other ov symptoms
