Really fed up of AF showing up month after month now 🤦🏼‍♀️ we've been taking the see what happens but dtd lots approach. But now going into month 7 so We've decided to use the clear blue opk's to see if it gives us a better chance. 🤷🏼‍♀️
Now to just wait for AF to disappear 😀

@Loops01 that’s interesting and didn’t realised that. Funnily enough just noticed small bit of spotting (really small) but it was red blood and not brown which means it’s fresh! 🤞 hopefully it is on its way. I’ll test for few more days in case its actually approaching ovulation - hate not knowing where in the cycle I am.

I’ve read there’s no increased chance of miscarriage but I think it’s for your body to return to normal hormone levels and to make sure your MC is fully over avoid infection. Part of me is thinking if I’m ovulating later this week or next I may try 🙈.

Glad they’ve gave you an idea but that probably feels a long way away when you want it so much. I can imagine it must be hard go back normal when you’ve been so good with watching what you’re eating/drinking but glad you’ve treated yourself to some chocolate! If I’m honest I’ve had week or two where haven’t been the most healthiest but I decided I deserved some treats.

@AZ1992X I mean I would probably be tempted to try too! Keep tracking and keep us posted! It is difficult not knowing! I'm assuming that AF will be late for me this month so it's like will it be in 8 days or 88!? Haha. 9m is a long time. Could have a baby in that time 😂. I think it's the fact that I won't instantly get treatment makes me realise why so many people go private. It's just so much money. Will see what our private scan later this month goes as if there is something evident then I might continue private. If there's not and I ovulate next month then I'll just keep at it and continue with NHS.

When would AF be due based on your last cycles?

It is but you could still get a bfp during that time 🤞
Don’t blame you that sounds like a sensible idea - I looked at it a while back but agree it looked expensive to go private.

I am due between 8th and 11th but I think it'll be a bit longer. Next ovulation is due the last day of June if AF arrives on the 9th. I do wonder if we will ever think how silly we are to worry so much or try so hard. Time is hard!

@Loops01 glad to hear you’ve been referred, that’s great news. But sorry to hear you didn’t ovulate! Taking some time to enjoy life again doesn’t sound like such a bad plan, especially knowing things are moving in the right direction.

@AZ1992X I’d be inclined to wait for af, as hard as it would be - give your body a chance to recover. But i would also be so impatient haha. Hopefully your spotting turns into af and you can move forward.

I’m cd11 here, so probably ov a week today. DH’s SA was all “normal”, everything in the middle of the normal range except his morphology which was 4%, which is low end of normal. I’ve said to him to call the gp and ask if there’s anything he can do/if he should be concerned (online all says 4% is the bottom end of normal but still absolutely fine to conceive), so we’ll see.

Oh that's glsome good news then @Amy259! I'm pretty sure it's easy enough to make diet changes etc. Lots of walnuts and other types of nuts. I break them up and stick them in DHs cereal and Yoghurt. The little things slowly help! 4% isn't the worst. How did he take it?

@Loops01 we have a pretty good diet, although he does like a sugary snack at night... but we’re pretty fit/healthy, and veggie. There doesn’t seem to be much online about diet improving morphology but I’ve asked him to ask the GP. More nuts are a good idea, thanks!

AF due tomorrow took another test the other day & bfn 😞
I have literally been having the most vivid dreams the past couple of nights
I suffer with my sleep anyway so wouldn't necessarily be bfp related, but I dreamt my old boss (who I haven't seen in 7 years) wanted me to choose the carpet she was having 😂😂🤔
So random, hopefully I'm not waiting to much longer for AF so we can get cracking again :/ 🙈

@rosiej95 that’s so funny, did you at least choose a nice carpet for her?! 😂 vivid dreams are supposed to be such a good sign, when did you last test? I got them with my chemical and I think if it happened again I’d be really hopeful too, so it’s really unfair if af arrives after teasing you like that.

When I get notifications I keep thinking that if we ever get to the point of making a new thread, we’ll need to choose a name for it wisely - I don’t even remember what cycle 7 looked like at this point!! 😂

@rosiej95 yes, you’re right - that’s another reason as it’s really hard to work out dates if you’ve not had your AF.

I’ve read a few things that you may be more fertile in the 3 months after but not sure if that’s proven or not 🤷‍♀️.

So nothing happened with that tiny bit of spotting yet, opk has gone up from 0.46 to 0.49 today, haven’t tried and maybe I should wait even though I don’t want too 😔 ... urgh it’s so hard.

I tested 2 days ago & there wasn't even a hint.
I have been waking up feeling a little 🤢 but I have been eating rubbish this week & think it's down to that.

@AZ1992X ive also heard that, everyone's differant but I know someone that got her bfp the month after her mc

@rosiej95 it’s the absolute worst when there are so many “signs” giving hope - every cycle I get to the point where I just want to know so I can accept defeat!

@AZ1992X did they mention anything about infection risk? That’s in my head for some reason, as why they say to wait a cycle? But I can’t imagine how tough it is for you to decide. I heard the same about the next 3 cycles thing too.

@rosiej95 your dream really made me laugh this morning! We have come a long way since cycle 7 but we are still here for each other. We get it. You and I have had no sign of a positive, @Amy259 has had a chemical and @AZ1992X a miscarriage but we are still here laughing at your dream. I'm glad we are all going through different things and reacting differently but can openly tell each other everything with constant help and advice and no real judgement. I'm just waiting for AF (unsure when it'll be but due next wk) and I'll be with you for cycle 11. THIS IS THE CYCLE!!, (I say that and have no idea if I'll ovulate... 😂)

@AZ1992X if you wanna go for it then do it! You've got my support either way. It might be that your tests just stay along that and you don't actually get an lh surge so you might not ovulate yet? I'm sure if you keep testing you'll find out soon!

@Amy259 are you getting close to highs and peaks yet or still a wee bit to go? I'm up for a new thread soon! Maybe after cycle 11 if we are all still standing?

@Amy259 I know you cannot have sex until your symptoms have fully stopped to avoid infection but it’s a week today since I stopped bleeding so should be ok now I think.

I think I’ll test a few more days and try and get an idea with what’s happening - if it dramatically increases might be tempted.

@Loops01 I’m definitely trying soy isoflavones next cycle if this one doesn’t work - have you read up on them? I’m going for days 3-7, supposed to make the egg super strong and ovulation (and peak) through the roof. I’m excited to try them - although that sounds like I’m ruling out this cycle already 😂 the acupuncture woman is phoning me today too. It’s all go!!

@AZ1992X ahh that must be what I was thinking of. Either way at least if you keep tracking you won’t have to guess where your cycle is x

I will try the SIs as well. Ordered a osteo care that's got them seperate along with vit D, magnesium etc so thought if they don't work at least my bones might be OK!

Just had some more bad news today. My cat has been diagnosed with an aggressive cancerous tumour. DH and I were meant to go to vets today but he's been called in to work. Just when you think you can't feel more sad and alone! I know some folk don't like cats and other animals but the cat and dog are literally my fur babies! Just 1 thing after another!

@Loops01 I’ve seen some I’ll order on amazon if af looks set to arrive.

Aww I’m so sorry about your wee cat! We lost ours to a really aggressive tumour back in Feb. It’s just the hardest thing, my DH still struggles with it sometimes - she was his little best pal. We have another cat and two dogs, and it all feels a bit lopsided now without Poppy. I worked as a vet practice manager for a long time so I was lucky enough to know the team that cared for her, and my friend came to the house to treat her along the way. We referred to oncology but as the treatment is palliative we decided against it, she wouldn’t have tolerated it well. Always here for a chat along the way if you need it x

So sorry to hear that @Loops01 - I hope you’re ok, I’ve got two cats which we adopted a few years ago and they mean everything to us. It must be heartbreaking , sending love your way ❤️

Opk has gone lower now its dropped to 0.23 and bbt is increasing slightly. Will keep testing but probably just waiting for AF to show up now.

Thank you both! It's stressful trying to learn how to deal with This situation. The vet said the tumour was 5cm by 10cm which is way bigger than I thought. You'd never know it. My cat lola is a long cat but not fat in any way and I've never felt or noticed the tumour protrude. Just crazy. She's all normal apart from not eating as well and tired more. Vet said she is very anemic due to the cancer and she may have weeks to months to live but not longer. She literally still chases birds and makes that little sound. You'd never know. Such a shame. We aren't going down the surgery route. She is 9 which isn't old but I don't want to chance it. Just on steroids and some pain killers when needed. Nice to hear that you are cat ladies haha. Just found out from work that I'm away for work for 5 days July 12th which I'm hoping is after ovulation but worried about going away again and leaving lola. DH will be here most of the day (working nights) but still.

Ovulation wise. After cd22 being barely there I didn't test yesterday (mainly because I was too focused on vet and other things going on). Went to the toilet just now after work and there was loads of mucus in my pants. Mainly ewcm but a touch cloudy in places. I have never had so much. Thought I would test and I got the darkest test line appear so quickly! Crazy! Never ever had it this late. I will test tomorrow morning too. We quickly got busy and I've stuck in the fertilily and used preseed but if I'm honest I'm not hopeful as not got busy since Monday due to shifts and stuff. Will test tomorrow. Oddly though I scanned the test and it came up 1. 76 and only high? Not peak. Weird. Will test later. I don't think I'll have a long luteal phase but as least it's something. The body is weird. Looking forward to the isoflavones now to see if they help.

I hope @AZ1992X your results maybe indicate AF but I guess that level is generally low for me normally so might just be a normal non surge leading day?

Yeah took a test at 530am today and it was slightly higher at 1.34 but will test when home from work tonight. Still think I'll miss it but at least I know to keep testing next month I guess. Wonder why it's gone so late. Much later than ever before

I’m on CD14 today and normally don’t ovulate until 18, but have quite a strong opk today (0.8) so looks like I could ov early this month. Which would be lovely - less waiting!!

That's it dropped from this morning to 0.97 so I think that is me now out. Don't think I'll be able to BD in time today. Who knows. I always get confused if when it drops that means ovulation is happening or happened. Don't know how fast his swimmers can me. I know we have yesterday just feel like it was so rushed and didn't get time to put feet up as needed to walk the dog so hoping it's not all come flying out! I'm not wanting to get my hopes up. Cycle 11 it will be! 😂 That's great you have a strong opk already! Wonder why you're earlier? Might not need those isoflavones. Hoping they arrive soon!
