Early BFPs

Hi, does anyone want to come and keep me company? Currently ttc#3 and I don’t know how many dpo I am as my cycles have been a bit unpredictable for the last year but I’d say between 8 and 12 dpo at a guess. I had a chemical in September and a miscarriage at about 6 weeks in early November. This month has been the first month we started trying again and I wasn’t going to test early but after feeling knackered and iffy all weekend I did an impulsive test last night before bed and got the faintest squinter ever. This morning I tested again and got a faint but definitely there positive that my phone camera managed to pick up 😬.

I don’t even want to tell DP yet as the last 2 BFPs didn’t stick. I don’t know what do do with myself today in between homeschooling and the kids have picked today to be really motivated and not needing much help from me.

Morning @Secretsquirrelisfedup yes - I’ve started to feel a jolt or two every other day for about a week now! Felt them much earlier last time so it was a relief that I’ve started feeling it now!

@Hoplop I was so confused for a minute then, although it doesn’t take much at the moment admittedly 🤣. Glad you have started feeling baby now, the relief is massive isn’t it when you’ve waited ages.

Hi @Lilbambinoplz glad all is good with you. I’m doing great, I have a dodgy pelvis and permanent heartburn but that’s balanced out by the baby constantly having his wiggle on and feeling really well in myself.

It’s weird how it suddenly starts to feel real isn’t it @Hoplop Baby is a proper wriggler now and getting lots of lovely people telling me how massive I am and joking about twins. It’s a good job I have a thick skin .

Summer hols start from tomorrow afternoon for my kids and I’m really looking forward to it this year.

Hi @Hoplop I’m knackered due to low iron and my pelvis is complaining so now I shuffle instead of walk when it’s playing up, but after a bloody lovely growth scan yesterday I am in a fabulous mood 😁

@Secretsquirrelisfedup excellent news about a positive growth scan! Feeling sympathetic about the low iron - also struggling with that here!

I have a growth scan in 3 weeks to check if this one is as big as his sibling was.

Hi @Secretsquirrelisfedup thisjust popped up on threads I’m on. My DS is now 13 months and doing great. We’re TTC again after getting married last month so I’m early testing again, I’m 8 days post ovulation today but don’t feel that it will be our month.

@Secretsquirrelisfedup well old habits die hard and I did an early test (well 2!) at 10dpo and had faint positives). I held back from testing until today which is the day before my period is due and I have a bfp!

Just keeping everything crossed that it will stick!

Well hello ladies!! Long time no speak!!

I am back on the TTC train and I had an urge to look back on this thread as I remembered how amazing it was for me at the time. I just read through the entire thing again, you ladies got me through so much anxiety and stress - so thank you. It was truly the most worrying time of my life and it’s not until I look back I realise how much support I needed and you gave me! My little boy is now 2 & 3 months. An absolute fire cracker and a non stop mover. Plays football and superheroes all day. Talks for England. Sings and dances to no end. Very much main character energy. Gives the best kisses and cuddles in the world.

I thought I’d take a long shot to message again and ask how you ladies all are with your toddlers and just to say thank you really.

TTC number 2 and feel so so so differently but also have a lot of similar worries at the same time. It’s a strange thing isn’t it trying to get pregnant. But very much a ‘what will be will be’ mentality this time!

Im so sorry to hear about your loss in June. They are truly devastating aren’t they. Have you been trying since then? It took us 8 months with 2 miscarriages last time, I know how hard it can be.

We only just decided this month we were ready to go again. And I got a peak OPK the same day! But we weren’t able to do it til 2 days later, so I don’t hold out much hope this month. Next month will be our first really trying. Our previous losses do make me scared, but trying to not let those get to me.

No more TTC for me as the house is full.

My BFP at the start of this thread is also a little firecracker, he’s an absolute diamond. His brother and sister absolutely worship him and he’s just so bloody funny. He’s gone of to grandmas this morning all wrapped up looking like a little explorer so excited about the snow.

I'm sorry to hear of your previous losses it's so hard not to feel scared isn't it just natural instinct I suppose.

I'm currently 4dpo so the dreaded tww also.

@Lilbambinoplz im 9DPO today. To be honest I FEEL pregnant. But I did a test late morning and was negative, it was a CB early test digi which was prob a bit optimistic and I literally had a tiny dribble of wee as I didn’t need to go but was too impatient. I almost feel like it’s too early, the test was wrong OR I’m totally tricking myself into thinking it’s even possible this month. God all the TWW has come flooding back!!!

I'm a serial tester just can't help myself 🙈 my oh has told me this month I'm not allowed to test as much but we all no that's not gonna happen 😂
