Early BFPs

Hi, does anyone want to come and keep me company? Currently ttc#3 and I don’t know how many dpo I am as my cycles have been a bit unpredictable for the last year but I’d say between 8 and 12 dpo at a guess. I had a chemical in September and a miscarriage at about 6 weeks in early November. This month has been the first month we started trying again and I wasn’t going to test early but after feeling knackered and iffy all weekend I did an impulsive test last night before bed and got the faintest squinter ever. This morning I tested again and got a faint but definitely there positive that my phone camera managed to pick up 😬.

I don’t even want to tell DP yet as the last 2 BFPs didn’t stick. I don’t know what do do with myself today in between homeschooling and the kids have picked today to be really motivated and not needing much help from me.

I’m CD 30 now, AF usually shows up by CD33 so I’m trying my best to keep busy over the next few days and not think about it.

I’ve still got quite a bit of cramping, not sure if that’s a good or bad sign.

My boobs however have suddenly stopped hurting when all week they have been agony. Is this supposed to happen?! I’ve poked and prodded them and nothing at all, this is a bad sign isn’t it?

Morning @Leonberger. Cramping is definitely normal as long as it’s not too intense. Not sure about your boobs not hurting anymore, have you had any other symptoms?

It’s not intense cramping, more like an ache type feeling or very mild period pain. It’s happening quite a bit during the day.
I’ve also been quite nauseous but I had hyperemsis with DC1 so that’s not surprising. Apparently I’m 4+1 and I remember the sickness kicking in about 7 weeks last time.
The boob thing is strange, they have gone from agony to nothing. Not even slightly sore.
On a positive note I did an internet cheapy and it’s a lot darker!

Good news about the darker line @Leonberger ! I haven’t done any more tests since yesterday’s digital as don’t have any but some FRERs are arriving today. Spoke to the GP about possible early monitoring and she said we just have to wait but I should feel positive. Couldn’t believe I got a digi this early - she must think I’m mad! 😂

I’d say if you’re still feeling nauseous or having other symptoms then I wouldn’t worry too much about the boob thing. Although it is weird, so is loads of stuff that happens in perfectly healthy pregnancies. Lol. Excellent news about the darker line too.

DP told me I should do a test this morning because he’s noticed that I’ve been feeling off the last few days. I used up the digital that I had left from last time and got pregnant 1-2 and DP is over the moon and being lovely. I just hope it works out this time.

@Secretsquirrelisfedup massive congrats!! How many DPO are you now? We really are in exactly the same boat!

Thanks @daisyorange2. I don’t really know how many dpo I am exactly and if I go by the opks than I got a BFP ridiculously early as the first squinter would have been 7dpo. At a guess I am somewhere between 10 and 14 dpo, I think 12ish is probably accurate.

Im 90% sure I’m 10 DPO but could be 12 at absolute most. Crazy times but I hope it means good things for us both 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼Happy anniversary for Monday x

Is anyone else absolutely exhausted?

@Secretsquirrelisfedup I don't feel too bad yet. My only symptoms to note would be waking up much earlier than usual, vivid dreams and sore nipples. Just did a FRER this afternoon, this line made me very very very happy at 10DPO!

@daisyorange2 that’s a brilliant line, especially for the afternoon.

My boobs aren’t bothering me at all yet but I did breastfeed two kids for far longer than I planned to so maybe they’re worn in 😂. I am feeling really queasy and absolutely knackered though. I’m struggling to get through the afternoons this week which is not helping the homeschooling.

@Secretsquirrelisfedup I'd say queasiness and being knackered are great signs!

This is our first baby so no homeschooling for me, I don't know how you mums are doing it!

@daisyorange2 some days we breeze it and I feel like Mary Poppins, this is usually followed by a day where it feels like pulling teeth and I feel like giving up. Overall it’s not terrible and I’m really proud of my DC for the work they’ve put in but I am so very very much looking forward to half term and I think teachers deserve a lot more money 😂.

My 10dpo was super faint and took the whole 3min to show anything. Poss tmi but I did it with ‘cold wee’ - my son woke me at 3am hence I needed to pee so used a trusty IKEA plastic beaker (promise I’ll not use it for drinks now haha!) and did the test by dipping at a more godly hour (6am!) I’m excited for doing another test tomorrow!
@Secretsquirrelisfedup I’m with you on the knackered boobs front! Mine have felt odd then not. Then sore on patches then fine.
I’m almost enjoying the queasy feeling as it means good things 🤞🏼🤞🏼🙏🏻🙏🏻

Im 11dpo. Bfp today, fairly faint but im taking that and hoping it sticks.
Baby #3 for us. I wont tell dh until i know for sure.

@Leonberger I had the same thing when last pregnant, boobs hurt on every monthly cycle but the month I was pregnant they stopped hurting at about 3 weeks from conception, they did grow large and heavy though quickly by week 6

I woke up quite anxious and did another test too. Top is yday afternoon, middle is last night before bed and bottom is this morning. (Pls don’t judge my mental testing!)

Do we think it’s safe for me to stop yet? I have never had positives like this before. For comparison, attached a pic of faint lines at 13 & 14 DPO last month.

I feel so grateful and I really hope this is it for us all ladies x

You too @rosegold33! Really trying to find my inner zen but ofc terrified after 2 previous losses. I do feel reassured by my lines. I’m 11DPO today. My DH asked me when the worrying stops, I said erm, 18 years maybe? 🤣

Hey @daisyorange2 - they are indeed great strong positives, especially the ones which don’t use first thing in the morning wee!
I’d say you can stop testing - and if you’re anxious try and have an early scan - and if you have any bleeding contact an EPU - but all is looking good - time to relax!

I only say this because this is what I plan to do.
AF is due today. And here are my tests from this morning (bottom) and three days ago (top).
I’m happy with my progress and consider it a stride in the right direction unless any bleeding begins in any form.

Thank you so much @Lisyloo725! Just the words I need to hear. Wow lovely progression on yours too. Mine from Tuesday was pretty much a tiny squint and now it’s almost same as control line.

I think I’ll go for a scan as early as possible and thank you for your advice.
