As the Post Pill Party fills up, the lights are dimmed and the music drops a beat. The lead singer of this rambunctious band shouts: Mosh Pit!! The ravers all storm for the small space in front of the stage allowing their bodies to dance to the beat however the f* they want!! You go ladies!!

This is the 7th post pill party thread for women whose bodies aren’t quite dancing to the expected rhythm: we have delayed ovulation, crazy long follicular phases, crazy short follicular phases, light AFs, short luteal phases, long luteal phases, confusing temp charts and blindingly white OPKs!

Right I'm planning to contribute to this thread more this time! I couldn't keep up last time! I stopped taking BC on the last day of October.

But a bit more is happening for me now. My got peak on an OPK which is the first time it's happened for me!! And a temp rise (albeit my OPKs and temps are not predicting the same ov date at the moment)
So I'm in the TWW again (I think) ✨

I had 2 days of positive OPKs in a row and today has reduced but temp has gone up. If tomorrows temp is also high then woo I ovulated! So hopefully I'm somewhere around 0DPO

I’ve had 3 light lines on opks today which is better than the previous completely blank ones so maybe I’m ovulating really late or I’m ovulating again without a period. No idea. The lines were darker this afternoon but not as dark as the control lines and have gotten lighter as the evening goes on. Will test again first thing and also do another pregnancy test.

My OPKs are still showing as low, I’ve had some wierd stabbing/popped pains on my right side near my hip tonight though which was wierd 🤔

I'm CD16 and my OPK's that I was getting hopeful about earlier this week have now gone basically blank. Had a bit of a down day about it all today. Hopefully I'll get a good nights sleep and feel better about everything tomorrow!

Hope you don't mind me joining the party. Just read through the last thread and you all sound like such a lovely bunch. I was nodding along throughout and going "same" the whole time (especially all the OH chat). I'm just off the pill after ten years. Came off last May and started TTC in August. No luck yet but have finally dropped back into regular cycles with the last 2 being spot on 30 days so fingers crossed I'm back in action.

Have been tracking CM and using OPK's for the last few months to no avail so getting serious this month. Sat down and strategised this morning as if I was going to war! Just ordered a BBT from Amazon and copied my data into the Fertility Friends app from Pre-Mom. Going to use both for a while and see if they align. Have also ordered Q10 and 2 litres of grapefruit juice and and have a reminder set in the calender for the start of FW. Getting serious here. And it sounds ridiculous even as I type it but a girl's gotta do, what a girl's gotta do.....

Anyway AF just arrived and I'm back on CD3 here. The stars had aligned with my last cycle timing wise and stress free over the holidays so was a bit gutted it didn't work out again but enjoyed my new CD1 ritual of a hot hot bath and starting fresh again for this cycle. Myself and the OH are both into our busiest times in work the next few months hence the serious strategy. Anyway hope ye don't mind me joining along for the morale support and the chats. Ye have a lovely thing going here x

@gracie2021 Welcome!! I love your military style planning!! I always have the same intentions but can never quite work out when my fertile week will be 😅 hope you enjoy your hot baths and the lull before the FW storm!

@Kay00 I've been the exact same now knowing when it's coming at all and I have a really rapid LH surge (like hours) so now that I finally have the start of a regular cycle ive decided I just need to be really mindful of the fertile window because I just don't get any notice on the surge if that makes any sense. So military precision is the plan for now 😂😂🙈

13DPO here and my temp is trolling me I think as it's gone back up. During a visit to the loo yesterday I had 3-4 tiny dots of bright red blood when I wiped. It didn't look period related at all but I doubt it was anything BFP related either lol. So today I'm just waiting for AF to arrive - the last two cycles she showed up in the evening after a BD sesh so I know what to do if she's taking her time 😅

Negative test this morning, 6 days late

@Juno231 your chart looks fab but I know from previous cycles there's no point asking you to test once you've got it in mind that AF is coming haha! But I would test 😜❤️ hope you're feeling ok with all your family worries!

@SalemsPot22 I would imagine you might only just be ovulating! I also just want to share a friendly reminder that you're supposed to try and use a plain white background when scanning in the OPKs as it helps the app get a more exact reading of what's on the stick. My first cycle post-pill I thought I ovulated at CD15 because I had strong OPKs, but I actually just had a LH surge where your body attempts to ovulate but doesn't manage it. I was then expecting my period around CD32. Didn't come! Randomly did an OPK on CD35 and caught a peak reading - I was Ovulating at CD35 instead! Confirmed by the fact I got pregnant then 😂

@Gracie2021 welcome! Love your planning. Temping is definitely helpful in pinpointing your O trends. Perfect time to start at the beginning of your cycle, too. Good luck with it!

6DPO for me girls. Temp still high above cover line, but I take that with a pinch of salt since last month my highest temp all cycle was the day before I came on. The witch! Had a really vivid dream that I had a positive pregnancy test last night 😆 One week to go.

@Nellieee I’ve had some brown spotting today. Never in my life have I seen something and thought please god be my period 😂

In the positive because I was crying yesterday my OH said we can go fully crazy in trying so I’ll be temping and I won’t even have to try to convince him when we need to DTD every day on ovulation

@salemspot22 I think your best course of action is to keep DTD every other day and to keep building a picture through OPKs and temping... its so hard to tell whats going on, but if you are pregnant then it will eventually reveal itself 😊

Well I slept for over 10 hours last night 😂 so I am feeling slightly better today! More of a normal temp this morning aswell! What shall I do with yesterday’s temp? Leave it on there and just ignore it or delete it?

Just done my first OPK of the day it is quite abit darker then yesterday so hoping to get peak either today or tomorrow 🤞🏼

@Gracie2021 love your military precision!! I got a surprise positive OPK this month out of nowhere too, so may emulate your style for next month as didn't have any time to plan!

@ChinChilly I'd delete that spurious high reading... looks like a sick-day spike to me and may muck up your chart

I'm 6DPO today, nothing much happening symptom wise, but then I don't tend to get much before AF either so not too surprised! Hurry up this next week!!

@ChinChilly Glad you're feeling better! I'm not an expert at all but I'd just want to leave it on there and ignore it as I'd be more ocd about having a gap 🤣 But that's probably not the right thing to do!

So after my crappy day yesterday, woke up this morning and my temp has dropped and my blank OPK's have gotten darker. Still low on Premom (0.47) but High (75%) on Femometer. Going to take the dog for a walk in a bit and try and hold until later to test again.
