As the Post Pill Party fills up, the lights are dimmed and the music drops a beat. The lead singer of this rambunctious band shouts: Mosh Pit!! The ravers all storm for the small space in front of the stage allowing their bodies to dance to the beat however the f* they want!! You go ladies!!

This is the 7th post pill party thread for women whose bodies aren’t quite dancing to the expected rhythm: we have delayed ovulation, crazy long follicular phases, crazy short follicular phases, light AFs, short luteal phases, long luteal phases, confusing temp charts and blindingly white OPKs!

@Kay00 I get the whole feeling deflated about TTC I feel like I’m just plodding along until we get to the 12 month mark. Definitely speak to your GP, I think it always depends on what kind of doctor you get my last GP was a right cow but this one seemed really nice. I’d definitely go private if I could afford to, if you can afford it go for it 100% you’ll get your answers much quicker. Remind me how long have you been TTC now?

Thanks ladies. I don’t want to get my hopes up as still feel like AF is coming so I will do the Frer if nothing comes tomorrow morning.

I rid see a very faint line but I’ve not taken these tests before so I sure if that’s normal.

@Kay00 how long have you been off the pill now? I’m sorry you feel deflated. I felt like that this month especially because I too had some thrush.

If you have had regular ovulation I wouldn’t feel too deflated. You might have just missed it or it’s on the way

@FlyingGiraffe I'm so sorry to see about your CP. So good that you are taking some positives from it though. Take good care of yourself 💐

@Gracie2021 @Juno231 your charts and temps are looking good! I'm still temping too just so I get a good idea of what's going on. My OH now asks me every morning if my temp has gone up 😂 I also had my first morning in over a week of not getting up at 3.30am to wee!! Other than that, my back is still sore and I get the odd twinge but I'm not taking it as anything. When are you ladies planning on testing?

I have a update for you. I had my 20 week scan last week and I am expecting a baby girl ❤️ she is growing well and everything is looking good.

I am trying to read through the posts and see if anyone else has got their BFP 🤞

@ChinChilly I got my cd21 blood test this morning so I’m 100% going to ask for the specifics this time and then probably Google everything intensely after that 😂

@Juno231 that’s strange you haven’t had to fill anything out or they didn’t tell you to bring your DH. Hopefully it goes ahead.

@Kay00 I’m so sorry. So frustrating, especially with the soy isoflavones. I don’t know much about them but maybe it’ll take a couple of cycles for them to work? And there’s still time! You’ve ovulated quite late before haven’t you? So CD20 is still relatively early. But definitely contact your GP and I agree with ChinChilly, if you can afford it then why not go private. I 100% would and may have to at some point. I’ve started saving but I’ve got enough for the initial consultation and that’s it 🤣

@Trying4one aw huge congrats!! So exciting. Have you thought of girl names? Now you can start buying cute outfits and everything 😍

@Cams50 yeah I have started buying outfits, I can't help myself. The fact I managed to wait until 20 weeks is somewhat of a miracle 🤣 we have started to have a think about names but no shortlist as of yet 😊 x

@Kay00 hmmm another different opinion... 😂 Tbh I'm at the point of wishing AF to just arrive so I get a fresh cycle as I've no idea what the fuck is going on 😂 I'm sorry you're feeling so deflated! I can understand your frustration. I'm really hoping something happens soon for you!!

My temperature has dropped like a stone but my OPK is now near positive... maybe about to ovulate?

@minipilling funnily enough, we also had one of those DTDs last night that was hugely unsuccessful (angles somehow all wrong, he got cramp, could hear neighbours so much) and resulted in pretty much exactly what you describe where, ahem, the semen hit the entrance rather than the target. Wasnt even sure whether to count it in the chart!

To be honest I felt v deflated about it - a bit like now TTC has managed to make sex truly unsexy.

@Cams50 funnily enough my bloods will be around 7dpo so in theory 21 days bloods. But yeah definitely ask for the results, my GP has an online thint where you can log and view them once they’re back which is good.

@TheDaydreamBelievers TTC does seem to have that effect sometimes it’s literally just having sex for the sake of it because it’s the correct cycle day

@FlyingGiraffe 💔 I'm devastated for you. It's so encouraging that you can see the positives to take those forward, but can't imagine how you must be feeling 😢

@Sperr - My temperatures drop really quickly on BBT charts post ovulation too - like just a few days of noticeably high post O's and then quickly back to cover, I think it's to do with low progesterone. Are you on B Complex Vitamins? I think that helped me a lot to get the BFP.

@Kay00 - I was CD20 before ovulation last month too, so you do still have time this cycle? But I get why you're feeling low, and it's defo worth raising with your GP to see if they'll take it forward - I think even just knowing that you're trying something different or pursuing a different route helps the mindset?

Thanks ladies xx I came off the pill in early June, so i'm in my 9th month off the pill, but didn't start properly trying until August so i'm in my 7th month.

But in these past 9 months I can only say I have ovulated five time; 5 x very long cycles and 1 x anovulatory... so far. @Cams50 you're right, CD20 is still early (esp for me!) I just feel very frustrated. I'll give the Soy Iso a 2nd go before I pursue fertility treatment.

@TheDaydreamBelievers I would certainly hazard a guess that you will ovulate soon Jump that man today if you can!

@LauraT94 I was going to say to you could CD23 be an anomally with mouth breathing as if you take that one out you have a lovely rise all the way from CD19. I would bet on CD19 being O day... but so many different opinions on here as to your chart it looks like it may be a surprise BFP / AF for you! Fingers crossed it's the former!

@Gracie2021 we have given ourselves a few days off too now and feeling so much more positive for it and both our libido's have returned! I find FW so stressful with the planning and pressure-sex that I actually find I dread it. haha, reeeaaaally not a good sign for the potentially long road of TTC to come!!

@TheDaydreamBelievers sounds like this is it! We had one of those the day before my predicted O - had forced TTC sex with neither of us really feeling it and it all went wrong! We tried again the next morning and worked much better so I'd say try and jump OH again if you can as it sounds like you're about to ovulate!
It does make it all very unsexy though... we always have a much better time when we're DTD in my non-fertile parts of the cycle!

@Nellieee where are you at in this cycle?

@LauraT94 I'm planning on not testing until saturday as I'm planning on drinking then. In practice I've never lasted that long but this cycle I'm feeling less hopeful than ever

@Trying4one oh my goodness that's a proper little person in there! Love that you're having a girl, I'd secretly want mine to be as well. Have you started on a nursery at all? What kind of names do you normally like? Traditional, hippy etc?

Someone asked me about my thrush this morning and I forgot to respond. It's aaaalmost gone now I think. Hopefully it won't make a comeback next cycle.

@abi555 hello! Long time no speak. Feel so out of the loop on here. How's it going? I'm CD4 but temps are v low in comparison to previous months. Only just above cover line so I'm not particularly hopeful this cycle. How about you?

@Kay00 really sorry to see about your cycle. It must be hard when you're body is not doing what you at least expect it to. If I was in your position and could, I'd definitely look to private options. Hope you get some improvement soon.

@abi555 Hi! It's kind of flatlined today, I guess I'm just pleased to get to 9dpo and will see what happens. I'll probably test on Saturday or Sunday as I stupidly did dry January and haven't drunk in my TWW either, so I'd love a glass of wine or G&T if I can!!! Congrats on your TWW, hoping it goes quickly for you 🤞

Played around some more and if I remove the OPKs (which I think got fucked over as I was drinking and peeing lots so maybe over diluted?) Then FF gives me solid crosshairs for 23rd! So that's going on temps alone?! Seems more accurate... So potentially 4dpo. But I might test on Sunday anyway as I'll be 9dpo or further along if it really was an earlier ovulation.... 🤷🏼‍♀️

And that's me done, I'm not fiddling with my chart any more, promise 😂
