Hi ladies,

This is for all of us with heart rate monitors who wish to help each other analyse the RHR patterns throughout our cycles.

Early research shows there's a correlation with increasing RHR and BFPs - so let's try and spot some together!

@Moominmiss ahhh yes now you’ve said that I remember @Juno231 saying that to me. I’ll share my chart. I took my watch off but only lasted a day and a half! I missed it 🤣. Hoping AF is a no show @Juno231🤞

That’s brilliant you got a dye stealer already 😍. It’s horrible waiting for AF due date to come and go. I’m sure she will stay away with strong lines like yours. Oh bless you, it must so tough emotionally. Early pregnancy is rough but can’t imagine how hard it is for you. When are you thinking of having a scan? When’s your due date?

Yes, DD was born here. Most of my family lives in Germany, some in Canada. Things are getting worse here as well. They’re talking about a mega lockdown now. I just hope the situation will improve soon. 🙏🏻

@Juno231 I keep thinking maybe I ovulated super early. My first OPK was quite strong for a negative on cd8. Maybe it was the end of an LH surge? Spotting has picked up a bit.
I still think your may not be out yet if RHR hasn’t dropped yet! I really hope that AF won’t show for you tomorrow! 🙏🏻

After this weird cycle I finally caved and ordered this book! I’ve heard amazing things about it!

@mumof23188 it really is so tough emotionally. I’m trying so hard to stay positive and think good thoughts, but I feel like I can’t or shouldn’t admit to being hopeful incase I jinx things.

So according to ovulation date my due date is 26th September and going by lmp it’s 27th September. So only a day in it. But as I’ve had previous c sections I’d be scheduled a bit earlier.

I was going to try and book a scan for around 7+5 maybe 8 weeks. But I daren’t try and book anything yet. I think if I make it to 6 weeks I’ll book something. Are you going to book a scan at all?

@Moominmiss haha I love that you remember that and yes that's totally true. I got a BFN at 11dpo though so felt it was relatively conclusive. I'm not having any symptoms either way I think. The only thing that was out of the ordinary was that upon wiping today I had 3-4 tiny spots of bright red blood on the tissue. Just the once but def not period blood 🤷‍♀️.

@mumof23188 didn't realise you didn't get your BFP until 12dpo! Did you test before at all?

Hello ladies, hope I’m allowed to jump in and join this group. I’ve read this thread with interest and wanted to join and say hello and also if I may ask for some opinions based on your charting / RHR knowledge in your TTC experience?

I’ve 35 and have tracked RHR for a long time on my device. Last month was my second month actively TTC - unfortunately I had a chemical but what I took from it was that normally having a very low RHR in the 40’s and low 50’s my RHR was as high as it’s ever been. I’ve had ECGs on my heart previously not because of RHR but as I have an unusual heart rhythm, so I like to keep an eye on what it gets up to.
This month I’m watching it do something completely different - I seem to have lots of TWW ‘symptoms’ that I never normally get pre AF, the most painful breasts and nipples, lots of CM etc but my RHR is on the floor!
I was just wondering if anyone had any Thoughts on patterns they’ve seen. Is it really individual or does it even vary month by month?! Thanks in advance xx

Hi ladies I took a bit of time away after AF arrived.

And since have had some talks with my partner.
After having these talks I realised how our feelings and wants have been misinterpreted on both sides. To be honest we are both bottlers me especially I would prefer to try and quietly fix things than have confrontation.

But this weekend we had the confrontation and We are now on the same page and have aligned our goals.

I have decided on a fresh start with TTC so this is month 1.

I normally use Easy@home ovulation tests but can’t seem to find them on amazon anymore is Femometer any good?

@Kona84 I always used femometer ones and never had any issues with them

They’re definitely still on Amazon.
I use these too, they’ve been by far the best of the cheapies that I’ve used (and I’ve used a LOT) lol

@Moominmiss yes, I did actually find the ovulation tests but £30.
My last pack was only £12 and lasted me about 5 cycles

@Kona84 I used Femometer ones. Got about 50 for £12? They were great

Just checking in quickly. After 5 days of mid cycle spotting/ light period, today is the first day without any spotting. OPKs are negative. My RHR is stuck at 61. CM is creamy. I have no idea when my cycle will resume to normal. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi ladies would it be ok for me to join? I'm TTC baby 1, on cycle 4. Been tracking with opks for 2 cycles and now would like to try and get to grips with rhr as I always wear my fitbit. I have read through the thread to try and learn/understand. Congrats on those with BFPs and 🤞🏻 for those in tww. I'm in tww, 10/11dpo, didn't get an obvious positive on an opk, Premom only registering readings as low but i think ov around cd15 which was 7th jan. usually rhr is about 63ish. It's been on the rise since around after ov I think and I'm never normally as high as 72 - is this good?

@biiirdy85 welcome! Tbh I've never seen rhr go down and stay low during the LP before! You might just be having an odd cycle like that. Have you been doing any symptom spotting yet?

@Kona84 I've been using femometer for nearly a year and find them really good. They seem a lot less sensitive than some other brands though, just warning you in case you're used to seeing a second line most of the time.

@LarasMama your cycle is boggling my mind this time! I'm really intrigued to see where it goes next but totally understand how frustrating this must be for you!

I'm on CD2 now.. My bbt was such a troll this cycle for spiking on what ended up being CD1. Luckily a 2bpm drop yesterday meant I knew was about to show and it's dropped a further 2 today to really drive it home lol.

@strangerontheinternet that looks really, really promising! When are you expecting AF and are you planning on testing?

@Juno231 oh that's good thank you. Although I have been trawling back through the last few months data and I think this might be normal for me? Would that be right? I'm 10/11dpo some ics arrived today in the mail so I couldn't resist testing I thought I saw a shadow but equally could have been an indent! I'll test in the morning with FMU tomorrow x

@Juno231 sorry AF due Thursday or Friday. Been feeling like AF cramps tonight though so I think she might be on her way...

@Juno231 you were right - I got a bfp this morning! Still very early not even missed my period yet so will test again at the end of the week when I should be due. 🤞🏻🤞🏻 for anyone in tww! X

@Juno231 thank you and good luck everyone with their journeys! Sorry to just jump on and off this thread hope it doesn't appear insensitive. I was kind of assuming I was out and in my head looking ahead to tracking a different way for next cycle so started looking into rhr. Baby dust to all 💫

@Juno231 i think crazy one off cycle might be best way to describe it. I gave up decaf coffee this month - maybe the heart is craving caffeine?! I'm trying my best not to symptom spot - but it's hard not too isn't it?! I've had painful bruised feeling sensitive breasts for a few days which I never have before AF. Perk of working from home tho means no bra needed to go to work! it's the way forward!

@Kona84 I use the Femometer ICs you get LH and HCG in the one box which is useful and not too expensive and they're good. Not sure how they compare to others on the sensitivity.

@Juno231 so sorry AF showed 😩. Hope you are ok! Yes I didn’t test at all til 12dpo. I tested with an OPK at 10dpo because I needed to pee on something and it was positive.

@LarasMama how strange and sorry to hear you are none the wiser. Are you going to continue to do opks? I had a cycle like this before I got my BFP. With the spotting! I did confirm ov though. Frustrating for you. How’s the book?

@Moominmiss how are you doing? I’ve got a scan booked for when I’m 7+5 on the 31st. Have you booked yet?
