sorry girls....bit tearful....been with best friend all day and her dh...she is 21 weeks pregnant after trying 1 month.

trying not to get my hopes up but......my temp went up again this morning....could be broken sleep b/c ds teething...but then all my temps are based on that for the last 2 weeks......can only hope temp stays up...cos my chart will look triphaistic (sP!)......

CD27 here, 12 DPO. Cycle was 28 days last time, so expecting AF on Wednesday I guess.

No signs of AF, or otheewise, yet. But there again AF signs and early pg signs are so often the same. Why is that? Some cruel other nature trick???

Tania, I feel awful that I made you feel worse . I really, really DON'T think that you've blown it - was trying to be reassuring but obviously failed completely! I think you have a very decent chance of being successful this month; missing a BD lessens that chance, but you DID get one in at an optimum time so you have every reason to be hopeful. Oh, I feel terrible now, please believe me that I wasn't saying and don't believe that you don't have a great chance of being pg this month

ebbie and jeddah - so sorry you both feel so rough. I was in tears yesterday too; got my first cramp which means AF is on its way and I just had an overwhelming feeling that I couldn't BEAR going on like this any more. Big hugs to you both xxx

Good morning! I am now on cd19 and had a big 'o' on my persona this morning which means the next few days are critical. Have been trying to bd every night for the last few days leading up to the 'o' days too so that we have things covered so to speak. Trying not to get my hopes up but its impossible really isn't it? Then have the very long 2 week wait to see if things work out.

Think I may be starting to get some tummy cramps this morning - looming AF??? I guess time will tell.

hi everyone!

i went to the party i told you about on Sat and had a really good time. met some cool people and stayed up way past bedtime listening to some awesome musicians just jamming out for hours!

it seems me and dp are just getting closer and closer, really cuddly and lovey. the only bad thing is i don't seem to be able to shake this feeling of having a short fuse with people. it's hard to explain but where normally i have a high tolerance level if people do irritating things this last week i've been finding it harder to bite my tongue when people annoy me. it's not good, i'm having to avoid certain friends or i'm gonna cause a big row!!!

i think my hormones have gone haywire since AF, i'm crying at the tiniest thing. really hope this is my month......all my friends either have babies aready or are expecting next year, and i totally understand you Silverlining, my first reaction when friends tell me they are PG is jealousy. i feel bad that i can't just be happy for them, but it hurts because i feel like i'm being left behind. our interaction with a large part of our social group has changed because they have children.

anyway i'm making a concious effort to try and stay cheerful, so i'm gonna go and put some loud music on and ignore the housework!!!!!

fed up - AF arraived last night - a disappointing 26 day cycle, once again my leutenal phase was only 8 days, so no chance on conception anyways it seems. am goign to see my GP this evening. have been taking Agnus Castus, but the only result i saw was that my cycle was 6 days shorter than my longest cycle! visited a friend in Bath this weekend who has the most gorgeous 9 month little boy, sotally fell in love with him, feeling really broody, and the next day AF showed up. so do feel quite pissed off at my body.
sorry to rant, can't excactly let this off my chest at work!!

Good Morning. Feeling quite jolly today, I don't know why! I was going to test this morning but didn't bother. I think AF may be on her way soon as I have just started with some very low level throbby sensations, not quite cramps, on the left hand side. My brother (who is 40) is expecting his first on May 11th ... bless him! I'm gonna be an aunty!

Morning everybody! After my dreadful self indulgent weekend feeling a lot more upbeat today (bizzarely for a Monday!). Thanks for everyone who understands - I seriously upped my game and have been a delighted and supportful friend to all 3 pg friends and made all the right noises which I do mean as I am pleased ....its just hard!

You would think I could cope with this baby thing - I work on a Neonatal Unit and am surrounded by babies!!! Perhaps I should go and gaze at a few to try and kick start my ovaries!!!

Well done Moschops - loud music and ignoring housework has got to be good for the soul!!! Hope you are feeling happier - joint effort to be bright and breezy OK??

it doesn't help that i have terrible period pain, my tits are killing me and it's a monday morning back in the office and everythign seems so gray outside. i shall keep posting and visiting this thread to see who has some better luck this month!!

hi valleygirl......I have read loads on vitB6 associated with trying to prolong Luteal Phase.....have had friends that it has worked on.
I have had a couple of short cycles...so I am taking it if you are interested CAT me and I wil send you a really good article!

Feeling a little better today.....strange I think its all hormonal.......must do some work, librarian...giving me daggers!!

Well, still got some light low tummy cramps, and boobs feel very tender. Is this AF arriving then?

Nursery have just called to say dd is poorly. She was off colour over the weekend but was hoping she was getting better. I know its not the kids' fault but they always seem to be ill around my 'o' time which obviously plays havoc with effective b-ding!
By the way, how short is a short luteal phase? I ovulated (according to persona) last month on cd 18 and 19. AF arrived on CD29 - is that too short?

We hope not hula (I had AF cramps in both my pgs) so it's not necessarily over....
Ta jeddah. bd on cd11,12,13 will have to do!! No dh today! I got the surge at 5pm yesterday and no surge at 2pm Saturday so the surge COULD have started on Sat...? How long should that surge line last????
