wouldn't it be lovely to be pg in decemeber (thinking about your earlier post) could wrap up an early positive test for dh to open on xmas eve when ds (dd in your case) is in bed!!

keep telling myslef it's only cycle 2- don't expect too much, but it would be nice to have the shock of concieving easily this time!!

I have only skimed down through the thread as i am hear at work by myself and i'm up the walls, (but had to c how you ladys are)THe other girl i work with is gone into hosp to see her DP, There having a cancer scare they found a lump.. And her DD is in hosp tommor going for test's on her kidney.. My heart goes out to her..

I ordered a lady Q person monitor, lets hope i PG this month.. and have booked a dreaded smear test aghhh for next monday.... Will book the doc then after that, all go go go !!!!!

Can I join this thread please? DS is 12 months and we are ttc #2. This is our first month of trying and I am already driving myself potty thinking about it, wondering if I'm pg, trying not to imagine symptoms, etc...Am hoping MN can help to keep me sane!

Am CD24 on a 35 day cycle.

My info is:

I am 31
I have one DD already, aged 2.5yo
She took a while to arrive - 15 months, then early mc, and then another 14/15 months of ttc
Had initailly planned to stay at one, but something (don't know what) took over
Now on month 2 of trying; on CD27 so waiting for AF to arrive (or not hopefully)
Trying temping and monitoring CM/cervix using Fertility Friend

Am I invisible?!!! No-ones talking to me today! Period pains have got stronger as the day has gone on Really thought that the Gods would shine on us soon (well, I think that every month and I'm 34 and childless)

sorry BEcki- not ignoring you at all (((hugs))) have you tried taking angus castus- that's supposed to help with pcos...encourage ovulation etc.....

is that appointment far away now??

lets hope your cramps are not signs of af and you get to cancel that appointment!!

ttc number 2
took 23 months to get pg with ds who is now 8.7 months old!!
on cd 26 here of cycle 2 ttc no 2!

I have had a temp rise today (8dpo) which if it stays up will make my chart the only tripaistic i have ever had!! which means i could be pg .....but not definately acording to fertility friend which i also use!

hi beckif..........you are not invisible...I just think that the thread is so fast moving that it is easy to be waiting in the background for someone to chat too??

Anyway....the crampss........its just so bloody frustrating...as they can be similar feelings to pg........when did you last test.....remind me!

Geordie - did I read that correctly - 8.7months?? I've been worrying enough about our possible age gap with DS being 12 months but before getting pg before I had endometriosis and am worried about it coming back, how long it will take to get pg, etc.

aha...I am working on the principle that it could take ages...and i want kids close together- my brother and i are 18 mo apart whish was hard but worth it!

Ahhhhhhh [smil] I feel better now! Thanks for you hugs and words! I've gone from feeling all up-beat this morning to very fragile (must be the cramps).

I last tested last Thursday (I think), I'll probably do one tonihgt or in the morning. But I have the Ultra Sensitive typ so if I was I'd know by now, and that sort of magic doesn't happen to people like me sadly.

Have we got any more possible graduates due? Anyone due to test?

I working on the same basis Geordie and if it does happen quicker then it will be nice in the long term if a bit harder in the short term.

Excuse a possibly stupid question but...how soon can you test?

Though when I was ttc #1 I did get pretty obsessive about testing and spent a small fortune so possibly not a route I want to go down again. It's just that I am sooooo impatient and would rather know.

I am ttc for the first time and have been at it for 11 months! I am 41yrs this month!

My dh has given up the fags and is taking zinc. My fertility tests were all ok!

this is a great thread but moved very fast.

mommyd....this opk thing is all abit hit and miss sometimes, as you are right, one never knows when the peak surge occurred. What we did was that the surge lines tends to get a little darker before it is very dark, so we would bd when surge line was nearly there....so it would cover all possibilites.

Just leaving library .....now off to the gym for the afternoon.

best not to test until 14 dpo (days past ovulation) at the earliest...if you do not know when you are ovulating then I would wait until af (aunt flow=period) one day late

you can use extra sensitive tests at 10 dpo (grrrr trying not to test tommorrow!!!)

that sounds like torture waiting that long Geordie! But I will try and be patient... Don't know exactly when I ov'd but am presuming it was around CD21 because of cycle length. We used Persona for DS and am going to start using it again next month.
