Sorry about af ebbie - are there any halloween goodies around to cheer you up? I seemed to have a complete chocolate head on this af - not like me at all as I am not usually much of a chocoalte person. Now I understand all those women who go galaxy crazy every month! Anyway, af finally gone today and I've given up trying to work out ov dates as they are so all over the place so I will just be bd'ing anytime, anyplace, anywhere this month. Fingers crossed.

ebbie- af is such a cow....let's hope this is her last visit for a while.

cd 25 here...and either i am not getting enough sleep or i am pg!! I seem to not be able to sit still...git the fidgets like last time...feeling really faint and dizzy and having a few cramps....not as painful as when pg with ds yet though. I could hawever be suffering from sleep deprivation as ds is teething!! GRRRRRRRR nothing is a gurantee until a bfp.....don't you hate the symptoms thing??

anyway off to update my chart on fertility friend......when you gonna test hula- if no af....r u gonna wait for 16 high temps??

Not sure to be honest. AF is due on Wednesday I would think. So maybe if it hadn't arrived by the weekend I would test. My temps are a bit up and down again what with being away and testing at different times, etc.

not that sure either...not before Saturday- I expect a 30 day cycle...will probably test if I get to 14 dpo (taking the second of the two possible ovulation days- cd20). Think that makes it cd 34 before I test then...another 9 days.......grrrrrrrr hard work not to do a test...

will expect a big cyber slap if i test too soon

11 months is a long time ebbie, sorry - have you all been trying ages? Have people found it takes longer or shorter normally to conceive subsequent children? Just owndering, I'm hideously impatient

I had the weirdest dream last night that I took a pg test and it came up positive and the baby was due in September ... let's hope it's a premonition, eh?!

hiya,

Sorry it's been a while, Shely, I don't think it matters too much, or well put it this way one of my good friends is pg, in month 7 and she has smoked and drunk all thru (this is her 4th!) not impressed as they weren't even trying and also she was on the pill, but any how. she did cut down thou (only had 1/2 a glass of wine) until about 3 months, but i think that was more a case of everytime she looked at food she was sick.

It's true about the 'youngsters' catching dead quick, i did at 16, with no worning, literally by fluke, (the condom broke and the morning after pill failed) which is ment to be like 99.9% impossible or some thing!, still then 6 years on the pill has made me stress out about it all. I think we all need to try and not think about it. My other friend has just been over and because AF hasn't visted her since she came off of the pill her dr says she's not OV, well at least one says shes not, her tests says she is, another DR says she won't catch at all untill AF returns and the last one says it's a slim chance but she might well do. Her mum apparently took 18 months TTC, but she'd prev told me it had been 5 yrs TTC, so I don't know. Either way thou i hope we conceive first, I know that sounds mean but she is always trying to 'out do' us, or buy things and do things we want to do if i mention doing it. (i don't mean to sound selfish but they're only trying cos we said we were) her hubby didn't even want try for another 3 yrs but she really worked on him took a big loan and did the things he wanted to do so she would get her way and they would try. Still enough of my moaning. hope every one else is OK and we have some graduates this month. I'm on with trying the Angus Cactus from tomorrow (ment to increase fertility) so fingers crossed.

I have only been trying a short while this time - on month 2, CD26. It did take me quite a long time with my first though so hoping this time it'll be quicker.

Oh, and:

DPO - days past ovulation
CD - cycle day
BFP - big fat positive
BFN - big fat negative

I am, just a quick lookin mid ironing... god I hate it! is it me or are the kids getting older this year?? We had a lot of 14-16 year olds knock on. what do they want apart from free sweets.

Still around for a while too.

Not feeling at all positive about getting a BFP this month - spent most of last week on holiday drinking wine, so not the greatest of help there to aid conception really. Besides I know that work wise (I teach) it'd be better for me to fall pregnant in December time - so I don't lose summe rholidays to maternity leave. Not that this info will make me feel any way better when AF arrives though.

MunnzieB - it's lovely this year. We live in an apartment so no trick or treaters to deal with Mind, we did take DD for a walk into the city earlier as they have had a Fright Night even on - funfair rides, stalls, fire eaters, jugglers, face painting, etc. Loads of kids (and some adults) dressed up. Missed the ads for t so weren't prepared. Next year I will be better prepared so DD can dress up too

well i mean i don't mean to sound harsh, but at that age (and considering i'm home alone as it were) with face masks on, some of the kids are quite big and stocky. The dogs are scaring them at the minute! lol. You know the lady over the way (who also happens to be PG - literally all of my neighbours are) recons that she went out into town the saturday before she found out she was PG and got absolutly wasted. then did the test and it came out BFP. any how the point is she recons that u find out when you least expect it. ( not that that's really of any help to any one) but it ain't over to u see AF!

DH is doing the ironing (I think) and watching planet of the Apes.... We need to BD though.... have ahd the 3rd day in a row of a positive OPK.... weird..... I thought you were meant to have 1 or 2 max... and this is after last week's positive OPK... seems like I can't have a negative result!

You know Tania I would do that but I have a thing about the airing cupboard being ful, which means normally I do it every 3-4 weeks in one go... it takes bloody ages! lol

Actually, last time I did fall gpg (with DD) when we had decided to relax about it for a while,. I had got a new job, was due to to to Carrabean n holiday and about 2 days before AF was due I went to a big schoool reunion with DH and has way too much to drink. By middle of following week I was being sick a lot and way hey - was pg!!!

Just dropping past to say hi and a welcome those who are new to the thread. flight on friday was grand, am now back home - very tired and wishing I could have kept my dn for a bit longer. Back to work in the morning - pants , will catch up porperly once I finish my shift in the afternoon. Hope everyone is doing fine. Sorry about af Ebbie, hope you're keeping well. Did the same with ds went to a birthday party had a couple of wines and ended up being the life of the party singing kararoke with a juke box getting everyone up dancing mind you it was a 21st so all the young ones were proberly saying gee the oldies now how to let loose. I was about 6 weeks pg dont think it did any harm to ds?????

Ironing is done and I have had 3 glasses of Orgasm (eqal parts Baileys, Tia-Maria & Vodka)!! NOT good for conception I know...ah well!
