Everyone on this thread seems so nice I was wondering if you could help.

AF was due on sat and hasn't arrived. Tested sunday and it was neg.

When should I test again and anyone recommend a test? Last one was a predictor one.

mousey70.... all depends on when you ovulated and how many days you are past ovulation.

You should wait 14 days passed ov.......but people do get positives about 12 days passed ov

Hello Mousey70!! I personally like the predictor tests - I had an early (2 days before AF due) pink dot with ds2 BUT HCG levels can vary so much if you are pg. I have come across a number of people who did not get a +++ until a few days after AF was due. I think it all depends on when implantation happens and that can vary by several days.
How about trying a First Response test?
So you are 4 days late? How long are your cycles and is it unusual for you to be late?
I used Clearblue for ds1 and got a + on the day AF was due.
BTW I am on cycle #2 of trying for #3!

jeddah - it's Contact Another Talker (CAT) - i.e. get Mumsnet to email them that you want to get in contact with them, then if you want you can talk over e-mail..... all very friendly and fun!

On cd9 and did an OPK stick this evening (first one) 'cos I was getting a lot of twinges on my right ovary and some EWCM (I think). Glad it was -ve (dh not around until the weekend)

I am going all natural this month....listening to my body and plenty of regular sex!!! (everyday/other from cd10) I usually ov 17-23

bit scarey though as I am 41 next month and I don't want to waste anymore time.......what does anyone else think??

jeddah - well, TBH honest not quite sure why I bothered - cost £14.99 for 5 (bought them this evening at the supermarket) I have a 27-29 day cycle, so am pretty sure O day is somewhere in the middle. With ds1 we bd lots in the middle of the cycle and it took a few months to conceive him.
Funnily enough, though, the month I got pg with ds1 I took three things (I was getting desperate and had read everything). Don't laugh - I took Agnus Castus (Vitex), Robituissin and baby aspirin and poor old dh took zinc for his sperm. I fell pg the month we took all those things, but have no idea which (if any) made a difference. How mad is that?!!
Even when you know exactly when you ov there is still only a 20% chance of conceiving each month.

Cycles are usually 28 days regular as clockwork but since dd now 9 months they been a bit unpredictable. Last month I was 3 days late.

Jeddah and Tania2 as we are the same CD shall we all make a joint effort to BD??? Not sure if this would be a good thing to tell DH or not?? "Darling, just to let you know I am planning our sex life with 2 other women - OK with that??" Think I could guess his reaction .....!

Ended up getting stuck into wine tonight and Property Ladder so not much time to chat - heres hoping for a quiet day at work tomorrow!!

mommyd I have been on combined pill for about 16 yrs and on the mini pill for last 2 yrs.
Came off mini pill in Jan this year........so been ttc for 10 months! Left ttc till late as did not meet right man for a long time (got married last May) and I lived in middle east for 7yrs partying my arse off!

One of our friends is 34yrs and fell pregnant last month after ttc for 1 month!....I am so chuffed for her, but its so bloody unfair

I have had fertility tests all of which are fine my dh swimmers were a bit low...but he is now off the fags and no more sitting in a steaming hot tractor all day, as harvest has finished (he got tested during harverst!)...boiling gogs!!

Hope this month is our month!
