hi i am 24 and a mother to jonathan who is 18mths old. I have never joined a chat thingy before and it all feels a bit nine years old, you know - when you had to pick a penfriend from doncaster or you would get a detention. Anyway, my inordinatly slow typing skills and I are here for a browse, but I think I am the only one left still not in bed. Hope there are other bungling mums like me out there. In 20 years time our motto will be "We did it for the best!"

AussieSim · 25/10/2004 04:39

Here I am again. TTC no. 2, trying for 8months so far. 1 day late now, so here's hoping, without wanting to be too devastated when AF arrives anyway. Appt with fertility specialist in a couple of weeks.

Tania2 · 25/10/2004 05:46

Welcome colditzmum are you ttc another? if so i hope you have some luck here.
Hi AussieSim glad your back and best of luck to you hope you get that BFP you could be our first graduate.
Well taking my nanna to visit my grandfathers grave went really well she coped really good and seemed very happy to be able to visit him on his birthday. DS didnt really know what was going on but gave the headstone a kiss when we said goodbye which made me cry. God i miss him so much cant wait till i can go visit him and tell him iam pg. Not feeling as bad as i thought i would.

Morning, I'm leaping over to join you again this cycle.

Well still confused as (trying to remember) AF arrived Thursday afternoon (normal) and went again within 24 hours, came back again (V.V.V. light) and now has gone again. Can't quite work that one out ???? I also feel a bit sicky, Opinions please.

I think I'm now on CD5, so here goes again.

runtus · 25/10/2004 09:02

Morning all! I have had a quick scan through the end of the last thread and I think there are some uge congrats in order.......forgive me fo not remembering who you all are but fab news none the less!

Cobweb - glad your scan went ok and reassured you a little bit. Just take things easy and rest up till you get to 10 weeks honey

The wedding went swingingly on Sat night, all got really dressed up and knocked back champagne all night. Unfortunately my other half knocked it back all to soon and we ended up having a massive row cos he wanted to go home early and I didn't but never mind.......could have been worse. All friends again now but lets just say I was VERY annoyed at the time to leave all my friends in the party and go home with a drunk git in a kilt.

muddaofsuburbia · 25/10/2004 09:02

Good luck everyone from another TTC no 11 graduate

Twiga · 25/10/2004 09:17

just a quick hello, will catch up once dn is sleeping later - she's a bit to handy with a mouse and keeps clicking us off onto different pages - good start to the thread Tania . CD35 here.

yingers74 · 25/10/2004 09:18

Good luck everyone, i really do feel lucky this time!

mariella · 25/10/2004 09:19

That's a nice thread title Tania, good luck to everyone and welcome to colditzmum. I'm on CD 10, first month of TTC#4 hope there will be as many graduates from this thread as there were for TTC11. How many did that thread have, 7? We should try to match that

Sallie · 25/10/2004 09:24

Can I join please? You are all certainly keeping me sane amidst a very difficult work situation and huge pressure on my family life. DH and I have decided to keep on ttc no3 and see what happens (see ttc no3 thread for dilema if you can be bothered!!). Best of luck to everyone and here's hoping this month we make some summer babes between us!

Sallie · 25/10/2004 09:26

...I am on CD 12 and using persona. Tend to ovulate late - ie around cd 18-20 so have a while to go yet.

childmindersam · 25/10/2004 09:28

I have just ordered bulk load of strips from medisave to see when im ovulating. Has this helped anyone else?

misdee · 25/10/2004 09:29

lots of babydust heading your way from us too. hope you all have some good news soon.

MrsWednesday · 25/10/2004 09:50

Tons of babydust from me too.

All the very, very best of luck.

MommyD · 25/10/2004 09:51

What are the chances that I have ov today? I am on cd7 and have a dull ache across my abdomen and lower back and am worrying that I could be ov early. dh is away for the week and no bd for the last 4 days... and none for the next 4 days
Also I am stilll spotting from AF - could that be causing the pain?

Tessiebear · 25/10/2004 10:06

Goodluck to all*_
Mommy D i got that kind of pain quite a lot early in my cycle and wondered if it was OV pain - without temping the only REAL indication of OV is Cervical Mucus IMO. Chances are it is NOT ov pain - i thought i was quite in tune with my body but i dont think i felt anything when i actually did OV...

sweetheart · 25/10/2004 10:13

Morning ladies,

Well another thread has passed and I still haven't got my BFP yet. Tested on Friday evening (just couldn't wait any longer) and got the usual BFN.

Af still hasn't arrived and I'm on cd 33 now. Just waiting for it to arrive so I can start on the blood tests.

Congrats to Tessiebear and Cobweb - I'm really pleased everything worked out OK for you.

So ladies, please raise your glasss (or coffee cups) to ANOTHER month of bding!! Good luck and babydust to you all!!!!!!!!!

MommyD · 25/10/2004 10:13

... thanks TB. I wouldn't know CM if it hit me on the head!! I have to be honest, I have never looked for it. I have always had a 27-29 day cycle and get ov pain somewhere between day 13 and day 15. Spotting would obscure any CM today, anyway.
Glad I'm not alone in getting this pain. I have decided to use a set of ov sticks this month and will start on cd10 (not used them before either). If no surge, then maybe what I am feeling now is ov? I hope not.

hester · 25/10/2004 10:17

Hurrah here we are! I raised a glass for all you ladies - the lucky BFPs and those who will be carrying on the ttc journey on this thread - on Saturday. Hope you were doing likewise!

Tania - thanks much for starting off this thread so beautifully. I really hope it's a lucky thread for you.

Tessiebear - so sorry I missed your good news. I'm THRILLED for you

BeckiF - you poor love, I know how you feel. How many others on this thread are 'old-timers' i.e. ttc for ages and ages? It is very, very grim and I hope you get your lucky break very soon.

Hi Jeddah - great to have you back; so glad you had a good time; how are you feeling today?

Colditzmum - your post made me laugh. Welcome to the thread.

LipstickMum, TessieBear, Muddaofsuburbia and Mrs Wednesday - thanks for the babydust! Hope you pop back now and then to see how we're doing!

golds - I don't want to encourage naughtiness but if I were you I would test....

I ovulated at the weekend and am hoping, hoping, hoping this will be my month....

jeddah · 25/10/2004 10:24

Tania2 well done in starting this thread....lets hope it is the one!!!!!!

Welcome colditzmum....what are your stats?
Runtus...wedding sounds fab.....aren't men a pain.....they do not understand the term 'pacing yourselves!'.....glad you are friends again (it helps when ttc!!!!)

Twigga....cd35!....are you due to test....I thought you were testing at the weekend with us all....did you decide to delay it?

Mommyd......sounds like its not related.....not sure about that one?

Aussiesim...good luck!

lots and lots of luck to us all here on ttc12
I am cd4 af stll visiting

golds · 25/10/2004 10:24

That's what I am sort of thinking.

On the other hand I am wondering whether I was PG and now I am not, all I know is this AF is not like any I have every had before, it was so light yesterday, I only realised it was there when I went to the loo and wiped (TMI) no protection required.
