@Garman I've had 2 months like that, but AF arrived 2 days late. Sucks as I got hopeful but times. I think the mc/mmc messes with your cycle for a while.

Pancakes7 · 23/01/2021 09:25

Sorry I got behind, I've had a migraine the last few days. AF is finished so will start ttc again. Feels like a never ending cycle atm. Going into month 7. I never thought it would take this long. This is the longest I've ever taken to get pregnant and that's only step 1. I hate ttc!

Bellabubble · 23/01/2021 10:01

@RichmondLady1981 sorry - I missed your message last time I was on here! (I’m trying to restrict myself on here and reading up on stuff as I’m swinging right back to thinking this is going to go the same was as the other 2, especially as I have zero symptoms) I have my fingers crossed for you and the next part of your journey. Is you little boy still at home after his bubble shut? Hope the remote teaching is going ok too! xx

Thank you to everyone who congratulated me this week! Sorry I haven’t tagged you all - I have been trying to take a step back, and also try to keep myself from overthinking!

I’ve lost track of where we all are in cycles etc - but I’m sensing out positive thoughts to you all! xx

@Bellabubble hi lovely! Thank you so much. It turned out that we have one last attempt naturally before I start my meds end of next week due to timings of my cycle and awaiting one more test result to come back. In FW now. I’ve backed off the chats a bit. I still love to check in to see how everyone’s doing.

So happy for your news. Everything crossed for you. Pls keep us posted on how you’re doing 💕

MrsF111 · 23/01/2021 13:04

Thank you @Pancakes7 and @RichmondLady1981. Very happy! Having to remind myself there is a long way to go still, just want to buy baby things

ELMcg · 23/01/2021 13:26

@M4v3r1ck @NatJ24 @PumpkinEverything the plot thickens for me 😂 pinkish brown light spotting today... AF starting or implantation bleeding, who knows!

Guess I will know after this weekend if its AF! Hope you ladies are all doing well, thank god its the weekend!

PumpkinEverything · 23/01/2021 13:35

Ah no @ELMcg 😂😂 every day is a mystery isn’t it! There was one day I was so sure it was AF because it was a little bit heavy so I used a tampon and then there was barely anything on it 🤦‍♀️ Hopefully you can just monitor it for the next few days (which I’m sure will feel like weeks)

So happy it’s the weekend! Treating ourselves to a nice bun and takeaway coffee on our walk and then pizza for dinner 😁 anyone else doing anything exciting?

bez91 · 23/01/2021 14:47

Sounds good @PumpkinEverything we went for a walk this morning although it was very blizzard like so didn't last long. Now decorating and it's white washing - about as exciting as my weekend gets!

@ELMcg it's all just a bloody mystery isn't it (no pun intended!) fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼

@TheDaydreamBelievers how are you doing? Did AF arrive? Xx

TheDaydreamBelievers · 23/01/2021 14:52

Hey @bez91 thanks for checking in! AF arrived today, so just under 8 weeks post MMC surgery. Overall my trajectory has been:

Baby died 10+5
MMC detected 12+1
Surgery at what would have been 13+5
Bleeding mild and stopped 2 weeks after.
Tests fully negative 6.5 weeks after
Ovulation 7 weeks after
AF 8 weeks after

NatJ24 · 23/01/2021 17:12

@Pancakes7 aww I know it seems long when it's you and you want nothing more than the BFP but try not to worry too much. Its still not that long at 7 months, try and stay positive 🌟 I know its hard though. Good luck in this new cycle 🙏

@ELMcg ah, its so confusing isnt it. Like you said the next few days should tell if it is the start of AF or if it is implantation! My AF started with spotting but yours could well be either!

@PumpkinEverything and @bez91 they sound like nice weekends! 🤗 keeping busy in the TWW!

@TheDaydreamBelievers glad AF arrived for you finally I bet you were so glad! Mine came yesterday, I was happy to see it haha

TheDaydreamBelievers · 23/01/2021 17:28

@NatJ24 sorta happy and sad. Obviously had the hope we might manage to catch that first ovulation but oh well. Struggling a bit this week as my bestie announced her pregnancy to all our pals (I knew already)

Pancakes7 · 23/01/2021 20:01

Thanks &@NatJ24 Sorry I was feeling a bit down earlier. Trying to keep positive.🤞🏻

Pancakes7 · 23/01/2021 20:03

@TheDaydreamBelievers I'm in a similar situation, my best friend got pregnant just as I had my mmc in July. She's due in April and I'm here still ttc . Sucks as I was due in Feb. Dreading my due date. 3 mums from my NCT including my best friend are pregnant.

PumpkinEverything · 23/01/2021 21:10

Glad to hear from you @TheDaydreamBelievers and I hope AF isn’t too bad. I feel your pain slightly, one of our friends recently announced her pregnancy. We must have got pregnant around the same time as she’s 15 weeks. Very very weird, but I’ve felt like I’ve known she was pregnant for months as I just had this gut feeling, even though I haven’t seen her since summer due to lockdown. I’m really happy for her as she has also had a MC, but it’s hard not to feel a little sad as that should have also been me considering our due dates would have been close.

TheDaydreamBelievers · 23/01/2021 21:25

Definitely @PumpkinEverything - a large part of it is that I'd dreamed of us going through this together!

AF is fine physically, I'm on the wine emotionally!

ELMcg · 24/01/2021 08:52

Morning everyone! So AF has arrived for me today! I was so off with my calculations 😂. It does mean my bleed a few weeks ago was obviously just still after MC.

Never been so happy to see it arrive as I know where I am now. Looking forward to hopefully getting a normal cycle now next month Smile and ill be able to track a bit better!

Guess it means I'm a week ahead of where I thought I would be so that's a bonus!

NatJ24 · 24/01/2021 09:33

@TheDaydreamBelievers aww yes of course, you always have in your mind that you could be pregnant too, especially because you tracked your ovulation. But, this is a new cycle and its given your body time so fingers crossed for this month for you.

@ELMcg yay! At least you know now!! It does feel good to know where you are and start a new cycle. Like you said at least you should be able to track it properly now. How does your AF seem? Mine was quite bad day 1, really heavy, but once that first day was done its not been as bad, still heavy just more like a usual heavy period.

ELMcg · 24/01/2021 09:59

@NatJ24 it seems OK so far. Was very light yesterday and seems to have gotten heavier overnight not super heavy yet though but we will see! I have quite light periods normally so will be pretty obvious if it's heavy!

Exactly know where I am now and told my husband to get ready for 10 days time 😂 might buy an OPK so I can see if I am really back on track. Any recommendations from anyone? Clear blue seems to get good reviews but is it a waste of money?

NatJ24 · 24/01/2021 10:15

@ELMcg well mine are usually light, so I definitely noticed the difference. It was quite heavy for that one day, but its settled now so I'm glad.
Well I used the clear blue dual one for the month I got pregnant, so I'd say it works quite well going off that. I ovulated late in that month too so it was worth it. I'm going to try it again this month. I've also got the easy at home ones which I bought to try and track after the MC because they were cheaper and I knew I was all over the place. They picked up a peak which seems to be right going of when AF arrived so I'd say they seem OK too 🤗

PrettyPinkPansies · 24/01/2021 10:15

Hi Everyone! I have decided to finally join after being a lurker on here for a long time and always looking for answers in old threads! Wondering if I'm in the right place? We had a MMC start of Jan and are back to TTC. wondering if someone can help me with ovulation tests before I lose my mind! X

bumptobean · 24/01/2021 10:18

Hi All. I miscarried last night after a few days of bleeding and just going through the process of finishing. Hoping it won’t take too long now. Still feels a bit surreal and very raw. But looking to TTC straight away. Can’t help but feel very scared of this happening again. Any tips on how to get rid of the fear? X

PumpkinEverything · 24/01/2021 10:31

Glad you have your wine @TheDaydreamBelievers it makes everything a bit better 😁

Ah @ELMcg 😂 at least something has happened! Wait until you see, she’ll turn up for me any day now as well then I bet 😂🤦‍♀️ It’s good you know where you’re at though and that it’s a fresh start. I use this easy @ home ones and find them easy to use and they’re also cheap 😊 they work well with the Premom app.

Sorry to hear that @bumptobean and that you find yourself here. Unfortunately I think it’s just allowing yourself time. Allow yourself to grieve and cry when you need to and want to. You need to wait until the bleeding has stopped completely so hopefully that time passing will help a little bit to let yourself get ready to think of trying again.

bumptobean · 24/01/2021 10:34

Thanks for replying @PumpkinEverything. I feel like I’ve got it inside my head that I’m not going to fill the ‘hole’ until I get pregnant again so to speak. I have so many worries also. Is it all out? How long will it take to get a negative test? To have a period? I never thought it would happen to me, naively I didn’t realise how common it is sadly. It some ways it has taught me a lot and I will never, ever, ever ask anyone when they are having a baby, are they pregnant etc again. I realise how hurtful it can be now.

NatJ24 · 24/01/2021 10:44

@PrettyPinkPansies so sorry about your MC. See mine and @PumpkinEverything posts there about ovulation tests. The easy at home ones are good because you can add them to the app and it reads your surge and then marks your peak. Have you had AF yet or a negative pregnancy test?
