@bez91 I hate the TWW it's hard isn't it. Also I find my AF symptoms are the same as pregnancy symptoms. So many months I've thought I'd get a BFP and it's a BFN. I really hope yours is a BFP though! 🤞🏻

elsimo · 19/01/2021 08:41

Yeah I have had one period since my MC so first proper cycle. I'm pretty sure i'm out tho, it would have defo have shown up at 12dpo on a FRER.

@Pancakes7 urghh I know, I have had the sorest boobs and feel so sick today!! Booooo

PumpkinEverything · 19/01/2021 10:19

What’s everyone doing to distract themselves during the TWW, and in a lockdown? 🤦‍♀️ Only 1 DPO for me and I know it’s going to drag. It’s to be rainy and minus temperatures here this week so I feel like I can’t go on many walks either!
Also don’t even know when I’d let myself test. I took another PT yesterday and I can see a shadow there. My best friend (sent her a photo) and my husband both think I’m cray cray and can see nothing. I’m 6 weeks past surgical management today and assuming that since I’ve hopefully ovulated it means that the HCG is low enough to have given ovulation, but still ever so slightly there on a test.
Just don’t want to test early for real this time and then think I see something when it’s just the remains of last time 🤦‍♀️

@NatNoo96 I'm so sorry, lovely! Especially this waiting! Sending you much love! 😘😘😘

@jec1983 no worries! Did you get a PT in the end up?

@bubblybrit hope it helps, they're a lovely bunch! 😃 Google really makes you feel like 35+ is a cliff and it's not!

@HappyVibes that's reassuring from the EPU! Hope blood tests go ok today! 🤞🏻

@PumpkinEverything I had the slightest shadow like that on Friday and the hospital confirmed a BFN for me! I don't know if it's just residual hormones?! 🤔 I'm the same as you and @NatJ24 with crazy hormones! 🤦🏻‍♀️ my OPKs were increasing earlier this week and now dropping, plus my BBT is going down! Permanently feel like AF arriving and having the odd pink discharge?! 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ I just want the witch to arrive properly and have no idea what my body is doing!

PumpkinEverything · 19/01/2021 10:48

Reassuring @M4v3r1ck thank you! It does seem to be barely there. My hormones are still crazy too. I feel like I’m overly sensitive about things that I normally wouldn’t be, and I hate being like that 🙈 did you have regular cycles before?

Pancakes7 · 19/01/2021 11:54

Is anyone else in my middle of their AF wishing time would hurry up so that can start trying again. I swear ttc is just constant waiting!!

AnxiousBear · 19/01/2021 12:54

@Pancakes7 - I think that will be me soon. AF is two days late but I’m 15/16 dpo and BFN again today, so assuming it’s just post MC period fun. TTC is all waiting!

MrsF111 · 19/01/2021 13:02

Period due in two days and I think time is standing still Hmm I have done well to not think about it so much this TWW - 3rd cycle, but struggling today, im trying to wait until thursday so I can test the day AF is due, last two months I symptom spotted loads and then BFN so not allowing myself to this cycle. Praying this is my month!!!!

Pancakes7 · 19/01/2021 15:31

@MrsF111 You've done well not to symptom spot. It's all I do each month! I tried not to this month and BFN still so will try again this month. I need to stop buying early tests too. I'm so desperate to be pregnant I'm just trying to find out quicker. But they're really expensive! Each month I say I won't do it, but I give in 🙈

Pancakes7 · 19/01/2021 15:33

@AnxiousBear Is this for first AF since MC? Mine were a bit late for a couple of months. So harsh as you get excited, then mine turned up.

PumpkinEverything · 19/01/2021 16:03

I’m the same @Pancakes7 😂 ive still got a few left from last time so I’m not letting myself buy anymore as I’m just like, this is enough for me to be able to test. Last time I took so many tests so got through quite a lot. I had the easy@home, FRER and then both the normal and digital CB.

Pancakes7 · 19/01/2021 16:05

@PumpkinEverything I swear I'm a POAS addict! lol. I don't have any left as I used 2 the third got an error (I got the triple check pack) I need to just be patient as if it's BFN anyway it's a waste of money. If it's not I really can wait a few more days, or I should be able to 🙈

PumpkinEverything · 19/01/2021 16:13

I think I am too @Pancakes7 😂 I don’t think I could be without any in the house right now. I’d already have my Amazon order placed for more! I’ve had to restrain myself from buying any for now as I have I think 10 easy@home, plus two digitals 😂 had a check this morning. I was really glad to have all my cheapies though since I had tested quite a bit waiting on my negative

MrsF111 · 19/01/2021 16:22

@Pancakes7 I only ordered my tests at the weekend which helped, and they are so expensive, thinking the later i leave it the better, if AF arrives then i wont have wasted another lot of test! I like the digital ones so cant keep using them or ill spend a fortune each month

bubblybrit · 19/01/2021 19:57

@M4v3r1ck. Yes I’ve joined the group and do feel a lot better. Dr Google made me feel like I was a 80 year old trying to conceive rather than a 36 year old where the chances are still quite high! My AF arrived today also so at least I can start to move forward with TTC shortly.

Pancakes7 · 19/01/2021 22:06

@PumpkinEverything ooh I've just looked up the easy@home tests, they are soooo much cheaper!! I've been buying clear blue tech month! Thanks so much for the tip. I'm ordering some now lol.

PumpkinEverything · 19/01/2021 22:10

They’re handy @Pancakes7 and they’re quite sensitive too. I use them for OPK and pregnancy tests. Last time I got my positive at 11DPO I think it was, and then continued to test each day to watch the line get darker as I had a good number for tests that it didn’t seem like I was wasting too much money 😂

Pancakes7 · 19/01/2021 22:35

@PumpkinEverything the last time I got my positive on a One step test which is similar but they are not early ones. Super cheap though. I used the clear blue fertility monitor for my ovulation tracking but I'm too impatient on pregnancy testing lol

ELMcg · 20/01/2021 08:33

Morning everyone! Just catching up after a weekend off this thread! (decided to put my phone away for mine and my OHs birthday weekend, would recommend!)

That's me officially 5 weeks post surgical management today. Literally felt like AF has been about to arrive for around a week now but still no sign! I am still in the time period of very normal not to have it yet but still just desperate for it to arrive. The longer it goes the more I'm like 'could I be pregnant?' which I know I'm not as I had 2 BFNs 2 days in a row last week!

Hope everyone is feeling OK this week, seems a really mixture of AF time and TWWs!

PumpkinEverything · 20/01/2021 09:13

Morning @ELMcg I think that was a good idea! It’s my husbands birthday next weekend and think I will be doing the same!

I felt the same as you, and had very strange light bleeding 4 weeks later, but I’ve decided to class that as AF, and I did get a positive OPK 2 weeks after that and I’m now in my TWW 😊 are you doing OPKs? I think they’re handy to know to at least figure out when you should likely expect AF, as well as for babies!

ELMcg · 20/01/2021 09:35

@PumpkinEverything thanks its reassuring to know others have been in the same boat! I did have a light bleed a week or two ago but it didn't remotely resemble a period so I just put it down to residual bleeding as it wasn't even worthy of a pad!

No I haven't used OPKs as yet as I fell straight away with my first pregnancy so this is technically only month 2 of trying! I was planning to wait until I have a period and then track from there as I have no clue what stage my body is at at the moment. I also don't want to put too much pressure on my poor husband but if we don't fall in the next few months I will probably give it a go thanks!

He has said if it doesn't come by next weekend maybe I should do another test as we have been having sex very sporadically!

PumpkinEverything · 20/01/2021 09:42

That’s actually very similar to me @ELMcg I had done an OPK two weeks after my surgical management and got a peak and thought it was my hormones, but it coincides with my bleed two weeks later. And mine also wasn’t enough to really class as AF. It lasted 8/9 days and I pretty much got by with a bit of toilet roll instead of a pad as I had 3 very small gushes (sorry if this is tmi, I just feel like it’s so helpful to know sometimes!). I thought it was related to surgery, but now that I’ve looked at the timings, it would have been 28 days, and then I got my next peak OPK on CD14. I never had regular cycles last year so I’m hoping ive balanced out! So I’m wondering if you could be experiencing the same as me?

I don’t tell my husband about the peaks, he knows I take the tests. But not that I do them every day, I prefer to keep it to myself so he’s not under pressure 😊 as far as he’s concerned, my body is all over the place and I don’t know what’s going on 😂🤷‍♀️ When did you get your negative pregnancy test?

ELMcg · 20/01/2021 09:54

@PumpkinEverything haha that makes sense. Helpful to know what others have gone through to try and figure it out! Mine was more like the odd bit of pink spotting after working out so I kind of assumed because of no red blood it couldn't be AF! I realise I could be totally wrong!

I got a negative PT on the 13th and again on the 14th (basically did it to work out if I could have a drink on my birthday 😂). But now the last 2 mornings I haven't felt myself so I'm now like could I have tested too early? However prior to last week (sorry this is going to be total TMI!) we hadn't DTD since Christmas eve so it would have definitely shown up on the 14th if I was pregnant I reckon as that's like 3 weeks after.

I was pretty lucky that I came off contraception in June last year had a few long cycles and then it calmed down to a nice 28 days. When I got pregnant in October we had basically talked about having a baby this year not realising I was actually already pregnant until I missed a period! Sadly it was a bit too good to be true for us.

But it does give me hope that if I time it right I can get pregnant. I was just tracking cycles on an app before although clearly the ovulation days were out by a day or two as I thought I had missed it that month!

PumpkinEverything · 20/01/2021 10:07

@ELMcg yeah I expected a really heavy painful period and it wasn’t! Mine was mostly brown with sometimes a bit of pink, so I thought it was just old blood. It could just have all been a coincidence but I decided to class it as AF due to the timing of everything 😊

Yes I think you’re right that you would have got a positive last time you checked after Christmas. Maybe have some success after last week tho 😁

It’s all so sad isn’t it 😔 I try not to dwell on it, but ours had worked out so perfectly as I was able to tell my husband on our first wedding anniversary about being pregnant after our first try. Just not meant to be though!

It’s so crazy how missing a day or two can be the reason you don’t get pregnant. Had never thought before trying that there was such a short window each month 🙈

elsimo · 20/01/2021 10:37

Thats AF here.....always feel better when it arrives at least I can start again now.
