@PumpkinEverything oh god after you saying that I'm now like maybe I've had my AF 😂. Trust me to be all over the place!

I think I will wait another week until I'm 6 weeks post surgery and see what happens, as you say maybe I ovulated over the weekend, who knows now!

What you are describing as AF is what I had for a few days however I think I just never assumed that could be it as the EPU told me it may be heavier than usual and it was only 3 weeks post surgery as I remember it was at the stage where I was like surely I should have stopped bleeding by now!

I suppose I just need to sit tight and let my body do its thing but not being in the routine of a normal cycle is a very strange place to be!

NatJ24 · 20/01/2021 19:01

@ELMcg @PumpkinEverything I am just behind you both in terms of amount of time since the MC so like to hear where you are up to and what your cycle is doing. I know everyone is different but it just helps to know how others are going and gives me a little idea of what might be next. It really is alot of unsurity and you do just have to wait for your body to do its thing but its hard at the same time.
I will be 5 weeks since medical management on Saturday and still waiting for AF! I keep getting different pains and odd cramps randomly and sometimes I think it will appear but nothing yet!
I've had a small amount of spotting but it sounds alot less than what you both said you've had so I definitely couldn't count it as AF. I'm still doing OPKs anyway just incase in the mean time haha 😄

PumpkinEverything · 20/01/2021 19:06

@NatJ24 @ELMcg all a bit of a mess isn’t it 🙈 I’d never have counted what I had as AF before, but just the way the timing worked out I feel like it should have been, and was just extremely light. It’s also made me feel a bit less stressed about what my body is doing this way so I’m just going with it 😂🤦‍♀️ I spent the whole time googling and reading posts on here trying to figure it out, and it felt like time was going so slowly (still does)

In saying that, I’ve had a few small cramps this evening and I’m like is this it happening and I’ve been wrong the whole time 😂😂

I love to hear others experiences as I’ve found on here to be the most helpful compared to any info we’re given or can read online, so I like to share my (tmi most of the time) experiences in the hope that it helps someone else.

NatJ24 · 20/01/2021 19:35

@PumpkinEverything I think you're right to go with your timings, they seem to all fit in with what they should be. You sound like you're at the place you think you are in your cycle now 😄
I know what you mean about googling and time going slow. I just feel like I am waiting and waiting and googling while waiting 😂 so I will be like you and less stressed when something happens!
The TMI definitely helps! It just answers some questions when online you just end up searching and searching dont you.
January is already a looooong month and now with this added to lockdown its never ending 😂

ELMcg · 20/01/2021 19:43

@NatJ24 @PumpkinEverything couldn't agree more, it's so reassuring to hear from other people and makes you feel more 'normal' in such a strange time!

You may remember I wrote on here about a week ago and I was feeling so so strange! Headaches, cramps, back pain and I was so sure AF was coming, now I'm like maybe that was ovulation (or just my body being like Wtf) who knows. I've never had ovulation pain before and sore boobs is my sure fire way of telling AF is coming normally so holding out for those symptoms as it's what I'm used to.

I keep saying to my husband, can you believe it was only 5 weeks ago and he agrees it feels like a lifetime ago now so in that respect I feel like who am I not back to normal yet? But then I'm like it is only 5 weeks!

Haha I'm all for the TMI, better sharing it on here than my poor husband having to hear it! 😂

M4v3r1ck · 20/01/2021 19:47

@PumpkinEverything yup, I was like clockwork before, think that's why I'm so impatient and frustrated! 🤦🏻‍♀️ I'm almost convinced I'm having a super light AF/spotting for the past couple of days, basically like what you've previously described! 🤷🏻‍♀️ Nothing's TMI with me, the more sharing the better IMHO - it definitely helps me!

@ELMcg @NatJ24 I'm feeling the same re: AF! It's been almost a week for me too of "is she finally coming"! As I said above, I've got this really weird light AF/spotting, OPKs are low (after a weird increase a few days ago), and definitely a BFN! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

@Pancakes7 relate so much to those feelings! Constantly wishing for the next steps so you can progress!!!

@bubblybrit hurrah to AF and TTC again!! We're gonna get BFPs soon! 😘

Hope everyone else is doing ok! 😘

PumpkinEverything · 20/01/2021 19:50

@NatJ24 @ELMcg time is absolutely dragging right now! January always goes slow, and the lockdown isn’t helping. I think the last two months have just been incredibly weird. I had a MMC which I found out about on the 25th nov, and it was the 8th dec before I had my surgical management. The whole thing feels like it was such a long time ago, and some weird nightmare that I’ve imagined.

That actually does sound sort of like ovulation symptoms! I think headaches can happen due to the change of your hormones, and then ovulation cramps are also a thing too, which I suppose could also cause backache! I actually never noticed having ovulation pain until the month I got pregnant as I was obviously reading into the symptoms. I think I previously had just thought it was nothing if I ever did have it.

PumpkinEverything · 20/01/2021 19:53

@M4v3r1ck it definitely could be! I’m wondering if maybe they ‘got it all’ during surgery and there wasn’t much left for my AF 🤷‍♀️ Who knows 🤦‍♀️

If it helps at all, here’s my chart of OPKs, as I hadn’t been convinced it was AF until I got my peak OPK and realised the dates worked out, so I had done them every day of this spotting I had

bubblybrit · 20/01/2021 19:55

@M4v3r1ck. AF started with light spotting for me. Lasted a day or two and then AF was in full flow. It’s heavier than a normal period but I was advised that this might be the case. Hope it is the start of AF for you as I feel more positive now than I did whilst waiting for AF 🥰 x

PaigeS96 · 20/01/2021 21:57

My AF came 5-6 weeks post surgery not horrendously heavy probably the same as usual lasted 5 days then had some spotting a couple of days after! I’m currently in my 2 week wait dragging so much! I feel drained headaches most nights and some stomach pain and backaches 6 days of waiting left to be able to do a test 🤞! Hopefully everyone has some joy these next few months xx

ELMcg · 21/01/2021 08:23

@M4v3r1ck @PumpkinEverything @NatJ24 so I did some maths last night since I realised I have no clue what is going on with my cycle! I've worked out that if AF isn't here by the 30th I should take a test. If it does come by the 30th that would be me back on my cycle.

If I get a BFN on the 30th that means the spotting I had a couple of weeks ago was my AF and my next one will be due around the 4th or 5th of Feb!

I do feel like AF may arrive any day though but we all know that could be my body playing tricks on me! 😂

Any signs of other AFs today?

MrsF111 · 21/01/2021 08:25

I was shaking doing the test!! Really had to make myself do one this morning and it’s positive!!!!

NatNoo96 · 21/01/2021 08:52

Congratulations @MrsF111 !! That’s wonderful news 💕

PumpkinEverything · 21/01/2021 09:17

We’d be almost in sync then @ELMcg 😊 my app predicts me to be 12DPO on the 30th if everything I’ve said is correct, so I would be expecting AF two days after you.
Fingers crossed that that’s the day something happens for you! I think either way it’s positive news to know either your cycle is on track, or a BFP would be fantastic!

I had a bit of cramping last night before I went to bed, but fine this morning so not sure what it was 🙈

PumpkinEverything · 21/01/2021 09:17

Congrats @MrsF111 😍 so happy for you!

bez91 · 21/01/2021 09:29

Congratulations @MrsF111 fantastic news! Really happy for you ☺️

@PaigeS96 how far into your TWW are you? We might be in sync 😆 I'm 8dpo, testing next Wednesday at 14dpo

NatJ24 · 21/01/2021 10:09

@M4v3r1ck @ELMcg @PumpkinEverything I am a mix of everything you are all saying at the minute, but probably a little behind you all. The only thing I have to go off is the 'peak' OPK I got 3 weeks after the MC, so on the 8th Jan. If that was a real peak I might be due AF any day now and I do feel like it could be on its way. I've been getting a few cramps yesterday and this morning and I've had some spotting this morning. I'm hoping it is here soon 🙏 then I can start my new cycle and won't be much behind where you all are 🤗

NatJ24 · 21/01/2021 10:10

@MrsF111 congratulations 🥰 lovely news! So exciting!

CLSM · 21/01/2021 10:23

Congratulations on the BFP’s and Sorry haven’t posted in while just been feeling stressed with all this TTC stuff but I’m more relaxed now and I’m currently on peak ovulation. 🤞🏽for this cycle.

PaigeS96 · 21/01/2021 11:19

Due to test next Tuesday! That’s if AF doesn’t arrive! Fingers crossed for us! ✨ x

Gamechanger2019 · 21/01/2021 14:48

Hi Ladies, loving the results, congrats! I’m having one of those days when you know when you’re just like fuck this! However I shall get my big girl pants on. I’m 2 weeks post miscarriage at 7 weeks, and according to my tests I ovulated Tuesday. Has anyone else experience spotting 2 days after ovulation - I haven’t before but just wondering is this normal post MC? My bleeding stopped about a week and half ago at least. Any one else experienced this?

ELMcg · 21/01/2021 19:26

@Gamechanger2019 that sounds fairly normal to me. My spotting started and stopped alot. I only had spotting for 2 days after MC and then very little for like a week and then some light spotting again 🤷‍♀️ all very confusing!

@NatJ24 you could be behind or ahead of me, who knows! I'm just telling myself play it cool until next weekend and wait and see!

@MrsF111 it's so lovely to see a BFP on this group! Makes me so happy! I have everything crossed for you!

RS2609 · 21/01/2021 20:14

@MrsF111 congratulations that’s wonderful news! 💕

Thank you to everyone who congratulated me on the BFP last week. All seems to be going ok so far but I have to say I’m quite anxious and almost expecting something to go wrong. My pregnancy symptoms seem a bit more pronounced this time but a week today is when I miscarried last time so just hoping we can get past that first hurdle 🤞

MrsF111 · 21/01/2021 20:44

Thanks everyone Smile feeling positive at the moment but I’m sure the nerves will hit me at some point! Taking it very easy, I’m furloughed two days a week so today all I’ve done is walk the dogs, then just sat on the sofa and relaxed! Bliss

bez91 · 21/01/2021 20:54

@RS2609 Completely under you'd be anxious, I know I will when it happens for me but don't feel guilty for the way you feel. Take one day at a time and if you find yourself worrying about the future just try and focus on 'the today' and hopefully as each milestone is reached that anxiety will ease a little.
