Anyone else on the TWW and hoping for a Christmas miracle

Hi everyone,

This is our first cycle TTC, and whilst I promised myself I would stay calm and collected, truthfully I am the total opposite. I can't switch off from thinking about it.

It's taken my OH a while to come to terms with trying to start a family. Whilst we have been together since we were 15 (now 27) he always wanted to earn more, to have a bigger house etc but he's come to finally realise that it's never the right time and we just have to go for it. I was so so pleased he was finally ready but promised we would keep it relaxed and calm. If it happens, it happens,

But working from home and not having anything else to do, I just can't switch off from my mind wondering 🙈 wondered if there was anyone else in the same boat who just wants to chat really?

I'm due AF on Christmas Day so it would be such a Christmas miracle if she doesn't come.

@ELBlack I’m currently holding in me pee as long as I can as I’m too impatient 😂 there’s a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge chilling for in case it’s not what I want to see.
Just looked at it again and it’s got stronger but obviously I shouldn’t take that into consideration as it’s been a couple of hours. 99% of me knows it’s just an indent line but clinging onto the 1% of hope 🙈 x

Hi I'm new to mumsnet.

Currently 13dpo. Planning to test tomorrow.

I have irregular periods so not really sure when I would be due. Luteal phase last month was 12 days. Previous one was 15 days. So thought I'd try testing tomorrow. We're in shielding (have been since mid march) and I have to do my online shop tomorrow. Will be the last one before Christmas so need to know whether I need to order alcohol or not! Lol x

@Mariex1989 eeekkkk🤞🏼 How exciting! I am clinging onto hope that I had a faint line on mine yesterday but I think it’s an indent! When I edit the photo it’s more obvious but pretty sure it’s what all clear blue tests do!

@jasmineh couldn’t hold my pee in any longer and wish I hadn’t tested again now. Same as earlier but can definitely see something very very very faintly. Camera doesn’t pick it up though. I’ll try again with fmu either tomorrow or Sunday.
When are you going to try again? Fingers crossed they’re both not just indents! 🤞🏻 X

@Mariex1989 I've also got wine just in case. I'm starting to feel pretty unwell, like low level nausea and my stomach feels funny. I think AF will be here by Sunday as this is typical feelings for me. Really hope you don't need your Prosecco though 😉 x

I normally dry up the day after ovulation but somehow I'm still having creamy/clear sticky cm. Is this a good sign?

@Mariex1989 oh babe don’t worry same happened to me! I tested with a hcg strip cheapie and there was absolutely nothing there so that’s why I’m pretty sure I’m out! Only thing we can do is hope they aren’t indents and wait a couple of days! 🤞🏼✨

@Alist12 - just before I found out I was pregnant with DD, (maybe TMI but..) I had a lot of CM but very watery like I'd wet myself! I had to change my underwear a couple of times a day. I even told my mum that I felt like I'd wet myself! Lol! But I was pregnant instead!

Totally jumping on this! Brand new on mumsnet, first cycle TTC. Off the pill October with one cycle contraception free first to get a feel for it. Ovulated like clockwork (from app and manually working it out) for the last two months (Christ, I did NOT expect the ovulation cramps!) glad to have them though for the very obvious sign of it! DTD 5 days on the trot, not sure if it’ll hinder or help as the advice is sooooo varied but we went for it! Only 1 day DPO and AF due 30th. Praying for a 1 cycle miracle! Baby dust all round ladies!! Xx

I'm 7dpo today and woke up so early. I was having the most weirdest dream, kept tossing and turning and felt as if I was drunk, when I got up I was all dizzy and nauseous. Hoping this is all a positive 🙈

So 14dpo. Cd26. BFN. Temp is highest it's ever been. 🤷‍♀️

I’ve just done a test with fmu and it’s pretty much the same as yesterday so I’m taking it as indent lines. I’ll calm down and enjoy my weekend and if AF hasn’t arrived I’ll try again next week sometime xx

@Foundmyfeet I never get any cm after ovulation and just woke up to lots of thick creamy cm ( tmi ) is this a good sign?

@Foundmyfeet I've always had such a weird dream that I took a pregnancy test and it came up positive

I showed my mum my test yesterday and she said she thinks it’s a positive but I’ll test again in the week 🤞🏻

I'm 6DPO today and temps still hovering just above cover line quite consistently so I'm hoping I'm still in!

Hi @Emmgrem 😊. I had mild AF like cramps a couple of days ago, I thought I was coming on but now they’ve vanished and haven’t got any period symptoms at all. Like clockwork I get tender boobs around 10 days before my period but literally nothing at all this month. I noticed yesterday that my boobs have got loads of veins all over, but probably just looking into it too much. How about you? When are you thinking of testing?

Guys - I’m overthinking now, but what are the chances I’d get indent lines on all 3 tests I took? Googling like mad now 🙈

@Emmgrem Not much. Slight cramping on what would have been 9/10 DPO and an itchy nipple (just one!) Otherwise not really any symptoms.

Hey, I've been watching this thread and just wanted to join! I am 8dpo and ttc for 10 cycles now. Due AF Christmas Eve. Got this on a easy @ home test this morning.

However since ovulation I have absolutely no cm and my boobs hurt (struggling to wear a bra or run!) and I keep feeling twinges in my uterus.

Eagerly waiting with anticipation for our Christmas miracle!!
