Where TTC is sometimes the smallest part of the conversation and we like to keep things fun & spicy cos let's face it, TTC can be as hard as a very useful phallus shaped wooden kitchen implement. 🍆

TTC should be fun. And fortunately we have each other to make each other laugh, giggle & more often than not, spit out our tea or wine

We’ve actually been around each other since March but various of us running this bus since June & not got sick of each other yet ❤️🥰

@LauraT94 I am impatient, silly and obsessive naturally and brought a load of IC just for that reason. I am sure it will bite me on the ass but that is a future Hobby problem.

Oh my gosh ladies, within the space of 3 hours I've gone from feeling fine to full body aches and shivers, swollen glands in neck and just feeling awful. I can't swallow everything is painful and swollen 😩
I don't want this to f#%* with my BBT. At least it's not my fertile week anymore 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hi ladies.. hope it’s okay to post in here I’ve been following this thread for months and have been too scared to join in. 🙈 I’m due AF on Sunday and have just taken a Sainsbury’s brand pregnancy test this morning with this result. After months of trying I am completely in shock and sad to say a little sceptical this may be a false positive as I’ve tested early. Is it normal to be anxious/scared and not overwhelmingly happy?! I hope this isn’t insensitive of me and I’m sending baby dust to you all.

@LunaorJack95 Congratulations that looks very positive to me! If it would ease your concerns you could test again with a different brand.

So I feel like I got a bit too prematurely excited yesterday about the fact I may have ovulated. My temp is back to its normal this morning so maybe my high temp yesterday was an anomaly ☹️

So ladies....is this morning's slight spike in BBT because I'm sick or is it real 🤔 I took paracetamol at 3:30am so technically it would reduce any potential fever. The BBT was taken at 5:30am.

Either way I'm not confident this is my month. If it's next month that'll be 2 September babies. Positives....eldest in the school year. Negatives....expensive birthday month right after buying school uniforms in August. My children are DD September, DD October, DS November, then Christmas in December, OH in January and DS in February. I'm always clawing back March to July 😂

@lucyrp don't worry yet! Look at my chart above. My temp dipped the day after ovulation then rose after that. I'm sure it can be up to 3 days to see a rise after ovulating?

@Joanna1009 oh yes! It was just last month it went up correctly and stayed up ☹️ this is it now

I don't know what to make of it... I think I'm in shock! Part of me is excited, part of me is shitting it...

I think I had an inkling due to sore nipples and last night I had a play with one of my vibrators and after I had awful cramps for over 5mins!! Now that's not normal for me and one symptom I wasn't imagining 🤣

@Minster2012 thanks lovely!! It's just mad that last time I tested there was nothing and now a full on line! Part of me wants to go and buy the digital 🤣

Meant I drank two bottles of Asti in between - oopsies 🙈

@InkyPaper I don't usually notice ovulation pains and I think I once read a study which said that they could be either before, during or after actual ovulation.

@Newbie0818 yes I know it's pretty weird to have such strong symptoms so early. All my pregnancies have been like that though including two which were very early losses it was obvious something was up almost immediately and very very obvious by the time my period was due. I think very severe hyperemesis does generally recur, yes, something like an 80-90% chance of having hyperemesis again, but it varies and some women definitely have a mixture with some pregnancies being full on hyperemesis and having to go to hospital etc with other pregnancies just bad but "normal" morning sickness (which obviously can still be pretty miserable!). Some people definitely just get worse every time but not all I think my Mum told me her fourth baby (of 5) was actually the least bad. Some women notice a definite sex pattern too with HG with one sex not the other, like @Joanna1009 (my Mum only had girls so no useful data there!) My HG was very severe though especially the second time so even if I had a much better pregnancy I would probably still have to go to hospital at least a couple of times. Bit of a depressing thought!

@lucyrp with that temp drop you should definitely assume you are still fertile for now. I used to have cycles like that too -- where the fertility signs would increase several times in a cycle then drop again before finally ovulating the second or third time. You might be having a "fall back" rise (where your temp drops back on the second day after ovulation before going up again) but you won't be sure of that for another few days so unless that's always your pattern I would keep going for it for now!

I had a wee play night also and had a bit of cramping after and just assumed AF was due.. still feeling little niggles as we speak but usually at this point my PMS symptoms are in full swing so good signs all round! ☺️

For anyone without an adorable DC, I have one I can happily give you for a while. Currently having an ALL MIGHTY meltdown cos he wanted a crumpet, I put in the toaster. He's now convinced I've stolen it & having a full on head banging on floor cos it's disappeared. He does usually understand the toaster concept. Gawwwwddddd.
