Where TTC is sometimes the smallest part of the conversation and we like to keep things fun & spicy cos let's face it, TTC can be as hard as a very useful phallus shaped wooden kitchen implement. 🍆

TTC should be fun. And fortunately we have each other to make each other laugh, giggle & more often than not, spit out our tea or wine

We’ve actually been around each other since March but various of us running this bus since June & not got sick of each other yet ❤️🥰

Can I please ask some really stupid questions! I am so confused! I have the Ovia app, and this month I'm starting to track my ovulation but I think I ovulate at the end of the green days (end of the fertile window) is that normal? I'm confused because I'm reading it's normal to ovulate on day 14 of your cycle but then am I ovulating on day 20? I actually have no idea what the hell l'm talking about!! We aren't TTC this month but I'm hoping to have got my head around what my bodies suppose to be doing by next month! I'm attaching a photo of my Ovia calendar and also my ovulation tests from when I tested a couple of weeks ago to show when my peak was. I realise how ridiculous I am 😂 I've been following things in these groups ordering tests and downloading apps but actually having 0 idea what it all means! Help me please!!

Also a photo of the ovulation tests I did this month! I will be eternally grateful to anyone that can tell me what this all means!

@NestinginNL test test test!!! I tested using a FRER in the afternoon around 3, I was 9DPO, implanted at 6/7 DPO & got a good line. I only done it because I got a really faint line on an IC!

@MayDay27 it's not stupid at all don't worry! Many of us didn't know anything about the fact that you could only get pregnant on certain days (cos y'know we've had it rammed into us since teenage years DON'T HAVE UNPROTECTED SEX UNLESS YOU WANT A BABY!) 🙄🙄did you attach your ovulation test? How long are your cycles usually? If 28 days then yeah around day 14 or 15 is usual but some ovulate around day 17/18 and some different days. A good way to check is with your cervical mucus, have you checked that?

@smushty14 you're in good company, I ate my way through a good chunk of a bar of Galaxy this morning. Just had lunch, still hungry, so hot buttered toast for me! I can't even blame it on the TWW 😂 just a greedy pig me.

@Kirky658 I deliberately bought the chocolate that dh and ds don’t like so I could eat over a few days.... otherwise I might get a small piece and watch the rest disappear ...

@Chlo2701 oh no don't tell me that 🤣 how faint was the IC test? Was it a 25miu or 10?

@Minster2012 It's crazy I've spend all my sexually active life being shit scared that if I'm anywhere near a penis the chances of pregnancy are high to now realising that it's so kind or mad maths and science equations that I can't understand!! I uploaded my ovulation tests on the second post, it says I peaked on the 02/11 so is ovulation the day after? I think my cycles are 31/32 is that worrying? I've noticed CM when it's been egg white looking but then I don't think I've put it in the app so will take more notice this month

@NestinginNL the IC was a 10miu one🙈 I wouldn't be able to resist peeing on the FRER if you've got 4😬

@MayDay27 you're cycle looks & sounds normal to me. So it looks like you're a lady with 31/32 day cycles & you ovulate around CD20. Which makes your LP (luteal phase) about 11/12 days. Definitely put in your app when you get the egg white CM. The more info you put in the easier it is to track everything & get a good idea of your own cycle

@Chlo2701 I'm starting to feel like AF is on her way so I'll hold off till tomorrow and see if my temp stays high ☺️

@MayDay27 yep looks like you ovulated around CD20, so your fertile days are the week before and a few days after. Before because the little soldiers can live for 5 days, after is just incase you ovulate a bit later. So I would start dtd every other day from CD 10, then once your OPKs get stronger go for three days in a row, then back to every other day until you have happily passed ovulation 😆 only way to guarantee when you ovulated is by taking your bbt. You can always not bother with this for a few months.
My luteal phase was 11 days, so looks like that what yours is as well. So all looks pretty good ☺️☺️

@MayDay27 oh god yeah don't go near a penis when you are teenage or younger (in twenties) but in thirties can't get pregnant at all. FFS. yes I agree with the others on ovulating CD20 for a 31 day cycle and you (Apparently) need a really good swish around with your (clean, we aren't heathens) finger to get a hood look at your CM and yep we've had photos before! The stretchier the better...if it goes "gloop" into the toilet you win a baby 😂

@blodyn91 so you are now officially this threads big sister! Love it...With @Catherinettc checking in as well, to check we are going in the right hole & I think @KateColx only shows up when there's rude stories around (like @Missgoldilocks used to magically appear for sex chat 😂🤣) You could spend a fortune at Babipur @blodyn91...I could (do) but it sells on very well when (if) your child rejects it 😬🤦🏼‍♀️. This evening not looking great for me, went out for dinner with said pregnant friend and had a brie bacon and sweet chilli toastie and some curly fries and for breakfast i also had (bread) toast with salmon pate so not many calories left for me. did go to the gym but don't like to count those extra calories so a total of 400 left for the day. looks like broccoli and carrots for tea for me 🤣

@Smushty14 Also regarding your bike message ages back. I have a TacX turbo trainer. Works on Bluetooth so no plugs or wires. So definitely worth having a look at one if you have a bike you could stick on it ☺️ I've had to stop running as it was too painful so my indoor trainer is a life saviour atm! Can even set up in the garden in the summer and get a tan same time 🤭
