The search has been called off again, no luck.

@Minster2012 it's our first yeah so we would get it on nhs but the wait times at guys and st Thomas hospital where we have our referral is so long, I'd be worried about waiting so long to start. At least with private we could start within a month last time I checked. I'm still hopeful the referral will come through this year so if it does I'd do that as we'd be fully in the system then.

@LauraT94 I'm the same. When you go out and people are like- just have one? Erm, what's the point? I'm an ultimate binge drinker. 🤣 I don't go out often though usually and clearly since March its not happened at all. So I think 2020 has been very slack on the drinking front. 🤣

@Juno231 men are dicks. I asked DH if he'd appreciate being woken up at 4.30am (like @Franklydear did) and he was blatantly like- erm no. And his face said it all. I pretty much knew the answer but I was trying to gauge how bothered he really was. And I can honestly say the answer is - not very much! 🙄

@notyetamumbuttrying ha yeah I'm used to it now! Don't know if I said on here before but I've ordered an AMH test to help me decide whether to hang around and wait for the NHS or whether to go private. My results were borderline low egg reserves last summer (by 0.2) so if it's dropped even more this year I'll just look into going down the private route in the new year...

@paintfairy well, on the moment he was more focus on the piece of information, the rest of that night/morning, he wasn’t best pleased to sleep a couple of hours less that he could have when he had to work, but afters, he said it wouldn’t have been better to just hear it at normal waking time and had to rush to work without time to digest it, or even worst, gone to work without knowing, but he did know that it was a possibility so not out of the blue

Oooo @Clairey844 I think fish n chips taste better in winter too! High five! And let's not write the possibility then but again, everything crossed for Friday, I'm not going to put down testing days on the next bus🤞🏻

@Juno231 also keeping everything crossed for you as well & I think it's just men. I don't think they have the capacity to think & remember. Mine didn't remember my testing day for IVF for gods sake!

@notyetamumbuttrying that's a real shit on the long waiting list for IVF but think a lot before passing up on the opportunity to use your NHS go definitely as your forfeit it otherwise so unless you go down the route of like the access scheme of "baby or refund" then it might not be worth it

DH & I have been productive today, the empty bottles of cheap gin do not suggest a mid day bender...we've made our annual sloe gin haul instead! And a vat of leek & potato soup. Yum yum.

He's also had birthday treats yesterday...🍆twice in one day...a rare treat now!

Gonna make Sunday tea now then do the next bus so don't fill it up before 🤪🤔

@franklydear but at least he enjoyed the information at the time. And is pleased. I honestly am not sure how pleased mine would be. 🤣

I felt productive as well today with my big walk, made a Thai curry from leftovers to use for work lunches, big supermarket shop and some cleaning :)

I still need to lose 10kg girls so perhaps I should join you on that health trip starting tomorrow 😅. Alcohol and lack of gym since March has made me into giant sack of potatoes.

@paintfairy yes, he wouldn’t have been bothered if I wasn’t ill and he had all the turns to wait for ds to fall sleep the whole week on top, usually after 11 pm, we can’t just leave him be and go to sleep ourselves before him, because he might decide to get up and run a bath, or get something to eat, or... autism is fun.

Heyyyy girls!!

Not been on since last night, we got up early and went for a lovely walk with friends and their baby, got home and quickly made a nice tea, got everything sorted for the morning and now sat down with a brew, a ripple and some s&v Pringles watching a film! Af still reasonably heavy but not painful anymore, but I am soo ready for some 🍆 hopefully af will be lighter tomorrow so I can get some! Sorry if I missed anything on here today but hope everyone is okay and having a lovely Sunday!

@Minster2012 it's only one round on ivf as well too, so I'm not sure whether the wait outweighs my desire to get my eggs harvested before I'm 35, will decide in a couple of months.

@notyetamumbuttrying double check as mine says one round of egg retrieval and ivf but also one round of frozen embryo transfer if the first one doesn't work. I did the AMH test privately using let'sgetchecked. Let me know if you want to try it as I'm pretty sure if you join through me you get like £30 off?

so i'm only CD19 and we just had tea and i put some mayo on my plate to go with my steak had a bit and was like omg that's disgusting and the only other time i've gone off it that had was when i was pregnant absolutely hated it so i was like omg 😱 😂 why is that the first thing that always comes to mind with things like this even though it's impossible ?!😂

Dh is already in planning mode, once we get to 3 months on list of what we need and getting it in advance, my eyes rolled out of my head today, when he wanted to discuss which pram to get? We only found out yesterday, must be 4 weeks along only...

@Franklydear the rational part of me knows i probbaly still won't ovulate for another 10 days at least so it's impossible but of course the thought was still there 🤣 i lived off ready salted crisps, runner beans with butter and sausage rolls(which were really peppery) from the bakery next door to where i worked at the time

Had a good Sunday. Restarted my sock but this time knitting two at a time which is fiddly as fuck.
Got a quick 🍆 in, had a "run" on the cross trainer and chowing down on some home made Mac and cheese. With bacon.

I need to lose some weight too as in the overweight category but 3 years ago I was in the morbidly obese category. Happy I am in a category where I might not be automatically in the high risk path if I do get pregnant. It made me sad last time that everything was fine except my BMI. They treat you quite differently.
