Hey everyone!

I'm either 3 or 4 dpo and looking to chat to others for the hpt countdown nightmare.

I feel like I've bought a lottery ticket. Excited, hopeful, but ready for a great big nope too 😀

I'm 6 dpo and don't know if it's in my head but the bottom of my back and bottom of my stomach feels crampy... hoping this is a possible good sign. Who knows

Seasalt1984 · 25/11/2020 15:28

@hollybeex thanks for sharing the article, really interesting! This bit is quite poignant:

"It is true that pregnancy tests can turn positive early (blood tests especially), however, it is rare with HPTs and is not something that should be relied upon within the emotional context of the trying to conceive journey."

There's still time and hope! Hang in their ladies 🤞🤞

Ginini · 25/11/2020 15:34

It's such a let down when you've convinced yourself isn't it!
Yeah I'm gonna wait till Friday I think (try too)! They're quite irregular but the longest is normally 30 day cycles, day 34 today and I felt very different!

@Hollybeex sorry about the BFN! But that link sounds promising! When are you gonna test again?

Ginini · 25/11/2020 15:35

@Seasalt1984
Agreed! The article has given me a bit of hope!

rttcbabyno1 · 25/11/2020 15:36

Thanks for sharing @Hollybeex 💕 that's an interesting read!! I'll do my best not to be so negative, it's so easy to give up!
This is the test I used @mineandyours I don't think it's the same as yours, not sure. I've only just looked at it again (was in a rush this morning tbh) and it says about being 79% of pregnancy's being detected 6 days prior period. The 51% was the bit I remembered, but I used the 'ultra early' one.
Where on earth they get these results from I don't know... especially with the article I've just read!

@Ginini thank you! I'm thinking Saturday if I don't have a period by then 🤞🏻

Hollybeex · 25/11/2020 16:08

Totally agree @Seasalt1984 I have upset myself so many times by testing too early because I've seen other people getting positives at 8/9 dpo or even sooner!

Ginini · 25/11/2020 18:16

@Hollybeex here's to resisting testing for a few days! I'm gonna get a more sensitive test I think too! Been using IC but there not very strong!

Ginini · 25/11/2020 18:17

Just started crying at the bisto advert, if I'm not PG then I must be having a breakdown 😂

Hollybeex · 25/11/2020 19:32

Oh @Ginini I know how you feel! I cried this afternoon because I wanted a nap and didn't have time 😂

Hollybeex · 26/11/2020 10:19

@rttcbabyno1 when are you testing again? ☺️

rttcbabyno1 · 26/11/2020 11:05

Hey @Hollybeex 😊 thanks for asking, I'm going to wait till Saturday I think, then at least I know it's definitely late.
I weirdly had a little show of pink/brown CM type stuff yesterday afternoon (sorry if TMI) I had it ever so slightly when I wiped the morning before that too, but its completely cleared up since... so wierd.
Also still having wierd dreams! are you ?
When are you testing? Xx

Hollybeex · 26/11/2020 12:41

@rttcbabyno1 same as me! my cycles are average about 30 days and today would be day 32 so if AF hasn't shown by tonight I'll be starting to get a bit excited!

That sounds positive that you are having a little bit of spotting, could be a good sign! I'm having weird dreams still too. Always pregnancy dreams for me, I keep dreaming that Ive done a test and a BFP pops up ☺️

rttcbabyno1 · 26/11/2020 13:03

@Hollybeex that's really good that your late though! what's the longest cycle you've had? Once it goes past there then id deffo be getting excited 🤞🏻 I'm trying not to think about the show too positively as I'm don't want to be hit too hard when/if AF comes. Also no other symptoms, the cramping went, don't know if that's good or bad.

I'm deffo feeling better about the BFN today though, realistically it was too early I think it's best to wait till your late at least. We're not out until AF says hello 👋🏻🤞🏻

Seasalt1984 · 26/11/2020 13:42

@hollybeex and @rttcbabyno1 I'm with you, the waiting continues! I keep expecting to have come on when I go to the loo. Had quite watery CM (TMI), although no spotting. Cramping on and off for a few days has settled and been intermittently feeling queasy. No vivid dreams though! Grin I'm 14 dpo thinking I'll test tomorrow 🙈

mineandyours · 26/11/2020 14:37

AF arrived today. Wasn't expecting it until this weekend so I must have miscalculated my ovulation and cycle this month.

I'm a little sad but not totally devastated as we weren't actively trying and I have 2 lovely and demanding preschool age DDs to look after! Good luck on your journeys everyone xx

Ginini · 26/11/2020 14:43

Think I'm out too, caved and tested BFN for me too, no AF yet but I'm in CD 35, normally no more than 30, maybe what I thought was implantation was a very very light period 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hollybeex · 26/11/2020 14:44

@rttcbabyno1 my longest cycle was 31 days so if AF stays away today then this will be my longest! My cramping has also gone away, it's funny we are having such similar symptoms ☺️

Hollybeex · 26/11/2020 14:46

Brilliant @Seasalt1984 we are in it together 👍🏼 I'm 14dpo today too and completely know what you mean! I keep feeling wet and thinking oh no then when I check it's just watery cm! My cramps have also stopped now, hopefully that's a good sign but who really knows!

Hollybeex · 26/11/2020 14:47

Sorry to hear that @mineandyours xx

Seasalt1984 · 26/11/2020 14:48

@mineandyours glad you're not feeling too bad about AF turning up. Another time soon maybe?! Enjoy your little ones Smile

@ginini so hard when cycles are unpredictable. See what happens in next few days? Keeping fingers crossed for you just in case 🤞

Hollybeex · 26/11/2020 14:49

@Ginini oh it's so frustrating isn't it not to know for sure 😩 there's no harm in testing again a few days time you never know what could happen x

Seasalt1984 · 26/11/2020 14:54

@hollybeex hanging in there with you!! 🤞🤞

Labell22 · 26/11/2020 15:04

Afternoon all. I have been following this post - many congratulations to those who has had a positive and sending lots of luck to everyone else.

I am on cycle 4 TTC #1. I am 2-3 dpo. Today I am experiencing mild pelvic cramps/pain and pressure, which I have not had before. Anyone else had this? I think it may be too early for implantation symptoms. I have completely changed my mindset this time round - I am normally a very positive person anyway but we all know that the 2WW can be hideous. I have been doing yoga, meditation and overall focussing on my wellbeing which has worked a treat and I am so much calmer then the previous cycles but I just wanted to ask about the pelvic cramps.

Thanks :)

Ginini · 26/11/2020 15:09

@Seasalt1984 yeah I'll wait a bit longer, really stressed myself out this month, I had so many promising sympathy 😫

@Hollybeex yeah frustrating is the perfect word for it! Yeah that's what I'm going to do!

Thanks for the support guys ❤️
