I'm either 3 or 4 dpo and looking to chat to others for the hpt countdown nightmare.

I feel like I've bought a lottery ticket. Excited, hopeful, but ready for a great big nope too 😀

Hi Ladies, I'm sadly out now! AF started in full force this morning. I'm excited to be in it with you all again next month though, it was lovely to have your support and not go through it alone ❤️ best of luck to anyone still in their TWW this month! ✨

Sorry about AF @Hollybeex 😟 it really is disheartening, especially when your late and have a few symptoms your mind really wonders. I wonder if we'll have similar ovulation windows next month? I say we keep this chat going as everyone has been great on this one!! Next cycle is no 4 for me. I have good feelings about next month for us 🤞🏻🤞🏻💕

I would love to keep this chat going, all the ladies here have been amazing! Next month will be month #5 for me and my partner trying for our first baby. I usually ovulate around cycle day 15/16 but I haven't been temping only using ovulation sticks so will be trying out temping this month for something a bit more accurate!

I've made a little list of things to look forward/to be happy about to make myself feel better about having to try again, I hope this helps some of you too 💕

1- Enjoying Christmas drinks, particularly G+T, Prosecco and Asti!

2- Eating all of the cheese and having Christmas cheese boards until my heart is content.

3- Another month of saving money to be in a better financial position when the time comes.

4- More time to get my body used to prenatals and trying some new ones.

5- Christmas shopping/decorating without feeling ill or throwing up!

6- More time to enjoy my partner, just us as a couple.

@rttcbabyno1 I'm doing OK thanks 😊 yes first appt booked in just before Christmas. Will try and keep busy with work/outdoor socialising before then and keep fingers crossed that this little bean sticks. We think we'd like to tell people after 12 week scan just to make sure everything OK, but we're going to my parents for Christmas so will probably tell them before, otherwise they'll be very suspicious that I'm not drinking!! Will be nice to share with my Mum too 🥰

@hollybeex I love your list!! Especially spending time with partner, so true ❤

Hello @Ginini I'm doing well thank you! We put up our Christmas tree last night and it's definitely cheered me up a bit! Although when I got up this morning I saw the cats had taken off about 70% of the baubles 😂 how are you feeling today? It's great that you're keeping busy with work!

Hi everyone, hope your all having a great weekend! I've been working today too, reeling in the overtime.. looking forward to doing nothing for the rest of the night... I say nothing, I can never sit still 🥴 Just constantly distracting myself from TTC as usual, think it's my way of trying to forget about it tbh, if I sit down too long my mind starts wondering 😂

@Hollybeex if I could love your comment I would have, I really appreciated your things to be greatful for list - I really needed it! 😊 I read it quickly last night amid putting the Christmas decorations up, just like you were haha. Hope putting your deccys have made you in better spirits 💕 I'm TTC no1 too (hence the name haha) I'm going to try temping this month too, have you got a thermometer yet? I was thinking of the 'femometer' digital one from Amazon, although I've looked at the app before and it's well expensive so no thanks to that 😂

@Seasalt1984 totally understand you not wanting to glad to everyone just yet, although I'm sure your finding it hard to hold back at the same time ha! 😁 When I got my positive before my CP I was literally going to tell my mum the next day but AF came 😔 thankful I only knew for day, but it still hurt. That will be super cute to tell them on Xmas though, that'll be the best present ever to them I'm sure 💖

@WicketBasket yayy, glad your in too! We are 100% keeping this chat up. You guys have been really supportive and it's been lovely chatting to you all, it'll be nice to know you all more on a personal level through the month perhaps! @Hollybeex ahh lovely! I'm going to put my tree up tomorrow and I can't bloody wait! We have a new pup and it's her first Christmas, hoping she isn't bothered by the tree but something tells me she is going to pull loads off too 😂

I've done another test this morning and completely blank, gonna call this month a write off and pray AF comes soon!

@rttcbabyno1 works one the best distraction isn't it, I'm the same if I'm sat at home not doing a lot the mind wonders (aka goes crazy) 😂

Hi @rttcbabyno1 I know the struggle! I've been working from home since March and it's so easy for my mind to wander when I'm home all day! The two week wait is the worst for me cause I end up googling every twinge I get out of boredom more than anything else!

I'm so glad I went ahead and did the Christmas decs, it's definitely made me feel a bit better and I enjoyed a large G+T while doing it as well ☺️

I ordered a random thermometer from amazon I just searched BBT thermometer and went for the cheapest with best reviews, it seems ok to me so far 👍🏼 the struggle for me is waking up at the same time everyday, especially when it's so freezing cold in the mornings I struggle to get out of bed!

Still no sign of AF for me, zero symptoms just feeling normal, thin maybe the spotting was a very light period 🤷🏻‍♀️
