Hi loves,
I'm out of the game for the Oct bus so I thought I'd kick off November bus early so people can join if AF rears her ugly head.
Brief summary of me - TTC since Jan, mc in Sept, just finished first period after d&c and ready to get pregnant already!
I've got a 4yr old ds and really hoped to be pregnant right now so pretty fed up with the whole process but trying to keep positive. IT WILL HAPPEN.
Sending baby dust to everyone! Summer babes for us all round Smile

@daisychain69 I've started slimming world last week hoping that may help and walk a hell of a lot at work for about 12 hours as I'm a carer. I'm hoping to bring it down to the early 30s bmi wise. Going to buy some folic acid today hoping that may help too

chillichutneysarnie · 27/10/2020 09:22

I'm also trying to lose weight, I'm on Joe wicks 90 day plan now and I love it, haven't yet lost much in terms of weight but I'm getting stronger and drinking a hell of a lot less alcohol than before. Husband is doing it with me and eating loads of nuts which should be good for his sperm (if he has any... Anyone else have moments when they are just convinced that something major is wrong?!) It's so depressing to get into that mood but I can't seem to stop it.

SparkyLauz · 27/10/2020 10:09

@gracie2307 I think I prefer the idea of reflexology instead of acupuncture! It sounds less painful haha. I found a place in Leeds (not too far from me) called Whitehall Clinic not sure if they have others in the country, where abouts are you based?

@Sunflowers81 We've been ttc since May but I have shorter cycles so currently on no8. How about you?I've not heard of homeopathy but I will have a look, thanks!

Trying to aim for DTD every other day now as FW is towards the end of the week. Not totally tried this yet but its sometimes hard as DH is always tired as works a lot and falls asleep really early which proves a bit stressful for me!

Also since I started ttc I told does anyone else get constant questions from friends 'when are you going to have a baby then?' Etc, its hard to know how to respond. 2 friends this week have asked me if im still on the pill without any influence from me as dont want to tell anyone I'm ttc. Its quite frustrating! Also think its quite a personal question!? Anyone else in similar boat?

Markygirl1995 · 27/10/2020 10:42

@chillichutneysarnie it's hard isnt it. I underactive thyroid too which makes it slower for me to lose weight. My OH had his sperm checked before apparently he has loads but all so lazy and dont all make it to the egg xx

CookieMonster3001 · 27/10/2020 11:33

I am also trying to loose a few lbs as well, doesn't help that I went away on a bit of a staycation last week and ate all the food and now im 6lbs heavier! LOL. Back to healthy eating yesterday though and feeling better for it already!

@SparkyLauz I get this all the time. Even my parents have started asking me when me and OH will have a baby and that I am not getting younger. Thanks for the reminder mom! facepalm

SparkyLauz · 27/10/2020 11:38

@CookieMonster3001 what do you respond with then they ask you?! I told my mum cause she knows when I'm down or upset (usually when AF arrives!) So I can't lie to her. She's very supportive too so helps

CookieMonster3001 · 27/10/2020 11:57

@SparkyLauz to be honest, it is hard and I have to sometimes take a step back and think that most of the time they mean no harm. It can just be frustrating hearing people ask all the time! I just tend to stick with the generic 'it will happen when it happens' when its my mum or friends. If its someone I am not too close with I tell them to mind their own business!

CookieMonster3001 · 27/10/2020 11:59

@SparkyLauz also I understand how you feel about DTD. I almost feel relieved if it FW falls on weekend, but this month is during the week and OH is having a tough time at work, so feel bad then saying we need to DTD when he is clearly not in the mood!

Kg87 · 27/10/2020 12:00

Hello all, hoping it’s okay to join. TTC #1 and starting the the dreaded TWW, anyone else 1DPO? 😊

SparkyLauz · 27/10/2020 16:16

@CookieMonster3001 yes its soo much easier when it falls on a weekend!! Saturday/Sunday mornings are the easiest time to get him to DTD 😂

Bmeggar · 27/10/2020 18:16

Is anyone else wfh? I'm loving it for ttc! We tend to dtd at lunchtime or afternoon so avoid the exhaustedness of trying to do it when both knackered after work 🙌 It's definitely made the trying more enjoyable 😉

Theawkwardblonde · 27/10/2020 18:36

@Bmeggar wfh! What luxury is that 😂😂 I work shifts and so does DH so dtd is like a military operation to time it right 😂😂

Bmeggar · 27/10/2020 19:15

@Theawkwardblonde 🤣🤣🤣 wfh is possibly the only good thing that came from covid!

Figarosbow · 28/10/2020 08:51

@Bmeggar my H works from home (has for over 3 years) and I'm a sahm so now that the youngest has started preschool we can fit in some daytime dtd, much prefer as I actually have some energy then 🤣

Hi Kg87 👋

Kg87 · 28/10/2020 09:10

@Figarosbow hiya! 👋🏻 Anyone symptom spotting already? 🙈🙈

Bmeggar · 28/10/2020 12:01

@Figarosbow exactly! When nurseries we're closed it was impossible but now my ds is back in full time, I actually prefer it when my fw falls during week days rather than weekend! 🤣
Does anyone else find the dtd enjoyable at first, then slowly gets more tiresome as the week goes on?! 😂😂😂 we try and keep it fun and interesting but still by the last day I'm a bit like 'can we just get it over with already' 🤣

OP posts:
Kg87 · 28/10/2020 12:05

@Bmeggar yes completely agree! I find it hard to catch the LH surge so we ended up DTD for 8 days just in case, I finally got my peak on Sunday but by the end we both just wanted it over with 😂

Markygirl1995 · 28/10/2020 16:18

Ov date is next week according to my app. Anyone else use Glow or Flo? Going to start using OV sticks too. I'm really conscious as my BMI is 37 I'm not sure if that's too high yet to conceive but in the process of losing weight hoping that gives me a little bit more hope

SRyellow · 28/10/2020 18:48

I’m CD 9, Ov date supposed to be next week too. I have been doing the cheap ovulation sticks from day 7 this month just to try pin point ovulation as it’s been different most months! I’ve been getting a faint line since CD 7 so hoping il ovulate soonish! I use Femometer app x

SunnydazeQ · 28/10/2020 19:11

Hi ladies!! So lovely seeing so many names from the October bus that I don't feel alone. :)

Trying for our first as well and feeling a little bit sad as we would've been at the end of our first trimester had it not been a loss. :( But onwards and upwards, it wasn't meant to be and I'm feeling positive for this month. Currently 1 DPO for me.

Sending baby dust to you all and fingers crossed this is our month!! Xx

BossyFlossie76 · 28/10/2020 19:19

Hello! I’m new here. Am TTC baby 2, my son is almost 2. He was a surprise so this is new process for me, it’s making me uptight! I had my mirena out mid October and I just got AF...so out for this month. Just thought I would come and say hello and get geared up for this first ‘proper’ month!

Theawkwardblonde · 28/10/2020 21:03

Has anyone on the November bus been TTC a year plus? Curious to know how many of us gave been trying a while.

Dogmum13 · 28/10/2020 22:30

@Theawkwardblonde not quite but close. 10 months but 12 cycles

Bmeggar · 29/10/2020 07:23

@Theawkwardblonde we stopped using protection Oct 2019, only really actively started ttc Jan

Hi @SRyellow I use Femometer too! I think it's pretty good and accurate for me. I use the Femometer opks too and I find that I get a faint line (which the app recognised as low) pretty much all month until the week before my period when there is no line. I'm due to ov in 2 days and got a 'high' opk yesterday. Hoping it'll be another high or peak today 🤞

Hi @SunnydazeQ I'm sorry for your loss. I know how you feel. We would have been a couple of weeks into our 2nd trimester too now...and 4 of my friends still are! It's hard, but I'm really hopeful November bus will be our bus! 🤞🤞🤞

Hi @BossyFlossie76 ! I'm on kiddy #2 too. Good luck and hope it happens quickly for you!
