Hi loves,
I'm out of the game for the Oct bus so I thought I'd kick off November bus early so people can join if AF rears her ugly head.
Brief summary of me - TTC since Jan, mc in Sept, just finished first period after d&c and ready to get pregnant already!
I've got a 4yr old ds and really hoped to be pregnant right now so pretty fed up with the whole process but trying to keep positive. IT WILL HAPPEN.
Sending baby dust to everyone! Summer babes for us all round Smile

@jessi60 I was in the same boat as you. Only started TTC in May. Had the implant for 12 years! And then the mini pill for a few months so I didn’t have a clue what my periods where actually like. We did get pregnant on our first month trying with no real AF, however unfortunately it ended very early. However if you start using an app to track periods you start to see a pattern pretty quickly.

If it’s been four weeks since you had a bleed if real AF doesn’t show in the next week I would do a test.

Also 7 DPO for me. Was feeling pretty chill about it all but there is something about that day 7 that makes me want to reach for those tests! X

Thinkingahead8 · 30/10/2020 08:07

Hi All, hoping to join!

TTC #2, cycle #1 and I think 2-3 dpo.

I’m desperately trying to keep distracted but it’s not working!

doublecheeseburgermediumfries · 30/10/2020 09:03

Hi everyone!

I haven't joined a bus thread before so I am going to read through the thread tonight but I am so happy to say I am on cycle day 1! So happy!

My last two cycles have been 53 and 57 days. I must be stressed or the whole pandemic is doing funny things to me.

Positive mental attitude this month!

SRyellow · 30/10/2020 09:03

@Raffaella13 sounds like it’s worth a go! Just need to get a clear positive!

@Markygirl1995 it is exciting, good luck on your first month! Xx

Markygirl1995 · 30/10/2020 09:09

@SRyellow thank you and you too! My friend said she decided to TTC and did it in a week I was so envious when she told me that 🤣

PurplePops · 30/10/2020 09:27

Hi Ladies!
I'm moving over from the October bus, currently on 9DPO, its my first month TTC so no idea what signs to be looking for. I don't think I'm going to test and just wait and see if AF turns up xx

SRyellow · 30/10/2020 09:48

@Markygirl1995 wow a week!! Very lucky.

Thank you CD 11 for me today and DTD every other day since 7, early days for this month.

@PurplePops Hi it’s hard not to test! Fingers crossed for you

Markygirl1995 · 30/10/2020 09:56

@PurplePops my signs with my first was Montgomery glands around my nipples and leukerrea xx

jessi60 · 30/10/2020 10:12

@Sohe thanks for replying. Yeah think I will give it another week and then maybe do a test, I just don’t know whether I will have actually even ovulated this month as it’s only 3.5 weeks since I stopped the pill after that brief 12 day stint and 3 weeks tomorrow since I had that 5 day bleed if I’m counting from the first day it started.
What period tracking apps do you recommend? Do you guys pay for them or are they free?

Let us know how you get on. Do you normally just wait until your period is late or do you start to test at a certain dpo? Xx

Sohe · 30/10/2020 10:23

@jessi60 I use two. Fertility friend which has a paid option and a free option, and Premom which is free. I usually try to hold out until AF is actually due but only managed that once! I think us early testers normally start around 8DPOish. Going to try holding out til 10/11 dpo and maybe test as we are going for meal for partners birthday so might like a glass of wine if it’s a BFN. X

jessi60 · 30/10/2020 10:36

@Sohe yeah I’ve just downloaded that pre mom one which seems quite good. Thanks for your help, appreciate it! X

Bmeggar · 30/10/2020 17:20

Feeling a bit fed up today! I thought I'd get a peak opk but instead it's gone down to low again! Worried I might not ovulate this month as is first proper cycle since mc... My app thought I am due to ovulate tomorrow.. 🤔
What time of day do all you guys test at?

I just want to say... I'm literally so bored of my own thoughts now with this trying to start a family thing. I haven't got the patience! It's the most frustrating thing I've ever experienced and I'm only 7 months in - god I really feel for those who have been trying for years. That's it really, just a small rant!

Markygirl1995 · 30/10/2020 18:04

@Bmeggar try your fmu your lines may become darker around peak time xxx

Bmeggar · 30/10/2020 18:32

@Markygirl1995 I thought fmu wasn't good for opks? 🤷‍♀️ I'm not sure why though...

I'm with you @chillichutneysarnie ! It's tedious and it takes over your life! 🤦🏼‍♀️ Hopefully we'll all be rewarded with a little bubba soon 🤞🤞🤞

@Bmeggar oh really? Tbh I have no clue lol! Xx

Theawkwardblonde · 30/10/2020 21:16

@Bmeggar I tend to find afternoon or evening best for those opks if they the ones off Amazon with the Femometer app?

Sunflowers81 · 30/10/2020 21:21

@Bmeggar I've been testing around 2pm and trying not to drink very much in few hours before that. Are you very hydrated? That can dilute results.

Sunflowers81 · 30/10/2020 21:25

@SunnydazeQ enjoy your acupuncture tomorrow!

MamaPheebz · 30/10/2020 21:37

Jumping on from the October bus. On cycle day 23 but got a negative test this morning and think I ovulated early this month so think I’m out for this cycle. I think my body is really struggling to get back to normal after 2 miscarriages.
Not entirely sure if we are trying again this month but still coming along for the bus ride just in case.

Good luck to you all x

Markygirl1995 · 30/10/2020 22:06

@MamaPheebz hi! I'm so sorry to hear your losses miscarriages are never easy having been through one myself very traumatic as I felt no one could help losing a lot of blood dont give up hope though I conveived my son 2 weeks after losing my first so hold on itll happen xxx

MamaPheebz · 30/10/2020 22:08

@Markygirl1995

Thanks and so sorry to hear about your loss. It is an awful thing to experience. X

Bmeggar · 30/10/2020 22:15

Thanks @Theawkwardblonde & @Sunflowers81 Yes they're the ones off amazon and yes I probably am too hydrated. I really struggle to not drink water so my pee is usually close to water itself! I'll try a little later in the afternoon tomorrow and see what shows up 🤞 thanks xx

SRyellow · 30/10/2020 22:39

@Bmeggar I do mine around midday, I try not to drink too much or go to the toilet anymore after breakfast. My results look similar to yours. Let’s hope peak is coming - temps seem to be dropping. Are you temping too? X
